At the 7:42 min mark of the video the Automatic drain plug instructions say to install the short / small drain plug (Removing the factory installed long drain plug for manual trans). Which coolant drain plug did you use? The Short or the long drain plug?
Thanks for the video. Those Mahle radiators are trash and are definitely not the same as OE despite what some retailers claim. CSF aluminum is the way to go
just copped for my 330i. just worried about how csf states that it may require a tune for the thermostat mapping. u been having any stuck open thermostat codes?
I see you still have that time bomb plastic Mickey mouse connection on your block hose. Upgrade that to aluminum and make sure you buy a gasket for it, the gasket that comes with them always leak due to wrong size.
@@IzzyE9X the ring gasket that comes with them are the wrong size (to thick), pending on who you get it from, I had to buy one from BMW to use on it $18. Super tight fit as well, the bottom of it is hard to get flush coming in from the top because your mind is telling you to press it straight when it's all at an angle.
I bought mine for my previous E90 on Amazon and never leaked.. ( my nephew drives it and still not leaking, reason for giving to my nephew is it was salvaged do to someone rear ended my car)so my new to me E90 will get the same from the same vendor in Amazon
@@IzzyE9X interesting. I bought a csf, and it only came with the two different sized drain plugs. Looks just like your set up, just plastic end caps instead of all aluminum
Thats $600 plus the cost to install and refill the coolant if you aren't doing the job yourself. Turns into $1,200+ real quick, and if you haven't upgraded the thermostat and water pump too...these old bwm's are like having a high maintenance girlfriend, nothing is ever enough😂

What did you do so that the hoses weren’t an issue to put on cause I’m struggling over here
I own n51 it wouldn't work cause I need a sensor on my radiator
Dipped my passenger tire into a hole. Radiator held up until i turned it on the next day; heard the water flowing and was deeply saddened

Nice i want one but um what year is your vehicle and it's an e90 right?
2007 BMW E92
Excellent quick run through, cheers
Sick im so excited for my ones to arrive! I just ordered the csf M3 triple pass radiator for my LS2 swapped 2012 e92. What dash gauge is that screen?
@@xenon9270 LS2 swapped E92 sounds like a beast! The gauge cluster is:

How well is it holding up? I need to order one asap and haven’t been able to find any longevity reviews
It still works perfectly! No leaks, no temperature jumps, it’s been great.
No temp sensor on your radiator?
E92 its on oil filter housing
Does it fit e90 ?
It does!
Extraordinary detail ! Super helpful !! I learned lots !!! Thanks mate . 👊🏼

FCP & ECS $400 so yeah it’s worth it long run

It’s a performance strut brace that improves handling!
