I put in weld as well lmao hey they called me crazy until I sanded it down a bit and then applied it worked like a charm
Best DIY video I ever seen. Straight to the point without being bored to death with useless explanation. Camera work is great and direction are faultless. Thank you Buddy
Absolutely man. Appreciate that!!
I don't own a BMW, never have, never even set foot in one before, probably never will. Buddy uploads a video, I watch. Simple.
Get one bro. A clapped e90 will get the feeling out of ya
I literally snapped off that same upper radiator outlet/inlet whilst trying to replace the hose. Hopped on youtube for a video on the replacement process and saw this video straight up. It's perfect, so simple, clear and well presented. Thanks dude, great work.
I love that your videos are very easy to follow and understand, thank you
This is so awesome. Thanks so much for doing this!
Amazing video, thank you so much, there so many worse tutorials with more views , idk how. This is the best one I’ve seen yet
Yeah RUclips is not very good at ranking videos. Glad it was helpful! More awesome content on the channel ☺️
Quick and straight to the point
This really helped me with my radiator on my e93 , thank you for the knowledge !!!!

Thanks man. Soon the channel with blow up! Just got to put in the time!
@@BuddysDIY I really like your fast and direct approach..I know I said this before but..keep them coming..I wish you would do video games walkthrough like this..
Hahah video games are not my specialty. But yes brothet many more bmw dogs in the future. Just dropped a oil filter gasket replacement and a brake pad replacement. Brake rotor replacement coming next!
Can i change radiator assembly brackets with same procedure ?
Thanks you so much !
U used the long plug on the driver side but is it long or short on the passenger side?
how is the procedure for the mechanical pump? the same with the foot on the accelerator and 10 seconds? Thx
Thank you bro
Buen trabajo we buddy
Good job, excelent
What kind of wire harness did you use to get the radio to work
Life saver!
Hey what plugs the whole above the drain plug I got the new one in but dnt know what goes there ??
Would this process work for a 2002 Bmw 320d SE?
@3:349 there's a scone T20 machine screw attaching the cooler to the fan on the other side of the cooler.
I did the same, it leaks at the bottom. Where the screw is.
Thanks Buddy
Glad you like them!
Can you do a little backstory of why you changing the radiator? Just to know..
If this happens to you. Don’t be afraid to give it a go. Turn out bmw wasn’t so difficult and the over engineered aspect makes shit easier to remove. Complex but not overwhelming. It’s bmw grow some balls. Do what you can first before taking it a mechanic
I decided to do this job myself which is why I’m here lol and I also had a crack where my boi here had one on the radiator. But yeah this the best video out there shows all the right angles to see the parts and screws and all that. I was gonna take it to a mechanic but didn’t want to spend so much money on something I figured didn’t seem so hard my only worries are breaking a damn hose or sumn smh knowing my clumsy ass
I took off my fan last night thx to this video BUT my radiator I found out has just a tiny lil hole at the plastic top right housing. U put white stuff?? Wat was that? It worked fine? Jb weld
Yeah but it's a temporary fix. It'll last a few months or maybe even a year but if you got eh money I'd just get a new rad 🙏
Thanks mate 👌🏻
No prob man!
:)
Nice!!😀
After you twist the bleeder screw do you add the rest of the coolant or when did you add the other half gallon?
Just top it off as you go. After you twist the screw. After you let it run for a minute. Just make sure it's topped off.
3:39 what is this cooler 4?
How's your Nissen's doing? My Mahle Behr sprung a pinhole leak lower driver side corner at the plastic end tank only after 10 months 10k miles. Wondering if I just fulfill warranty and hope I just got a defective one, or try Nissen's and hope that one lasts longer? I really don't wanna spend premium on Genuine BMW, but if I have to replace a radiator annually, I may just bite the bullet.
Just go with durlast it comes with a limited-lifetime warranty
And it’s only about 80 bucks more than the Nissens
got a new csf 7058 :)
As I removed my bumber a small rubber seal fell out. It's about 4 inches in size and fell from the drivers side. Can't find out where it goes 😖
Did you find out where it goes
@@staiz_jano7047 Not sure tbh. I did clip it back on, but it could have gone in various places. I picked a spot near the fog light as I'm assuming it's to stop water getting in. So far everything seems ok 🤞
What do you do to the bleeder valve you opened after done bleeding? Close it again?
yes
The lower hose will not come off and I can’t find a place to put a flat head to pry it off
My man I'm hitting the same problem right now ... how did you pull that lower hose off ?
How do you do the plug back in every video you guys ignore the part with the plug for the radiator on the bottom
You mean the stem plug? Or the little screw?
why u running water in there?
5:58 and in the other corner of the radiator which cap did you put the long or the short one? and because?
I can not recall right now which one I used. Automatics and manual as well as turbo vs non turbo are the deciding factors.
@@BuddysDIY ok mine is automatic and has a small hose just above that means it has an oil cooler?
I'm not sure brother
I have a leaked radiator. The shop asking $1500 to replace it. They say once radiator is replaced, the thermostat needs to be replaced as well. Not sure if this is true
yes and water pump and u hose . electric water pumps fail around 7k miles.
We've spent about 4 hours getting the lower big hose off. So far a small part of the radiator is still inside that house. I've fucked up both arms trying to get it out.
Eyy im in the same boat. The top hose came out in seconds but the lower one has not budged one bit. Anyone have advice on how to get it loose?
Edit: 34 mins after making this comment I got the hose out. Just kept pulling on it as I was for the past couple hours.
@@marlon6598 jup. i got a new hose. took a dremel on the little metal strap and literally replaced the whole part. after we had the whole radiator out with te piece still on it i placed it on the funfair as the new sword in the rock. only the king of germany could pull it out iguess because nobody managed
Quick question may sound dumb but what years does this cover?
05-12
Listing the exact tools needed would be very helpful.
he basically told u every tool ur gonna need minus the obvious socket wrenches lol, named every type of bolt you have to take out
@@gavinsixnine Keyword here is "listing", as in the description. It was just a tip for the content creator.
@@lucasleistner still aint following lol. Listing. Like tell you what tools your gonna need thru the video and project? Well he did that maybe you mean all at once in the beginning
@@gavinsixnine In the description of the video.
People say e9x and so on but the e92 is built different
Buddy, that's an e92.. ur video description says ur working on an "e90"
Where can I buy a radiator for this exact car
fcp euro nissens iletime warranty
Water isn’t good for the electric water pump there is silicates in the bmw coolant to help it last a bit longer the ultimate fix is to just get one from Fcp euro and they have lifetime warranty
Where is this "lifetime" water pump sold?
@@stuartbear922 fcp euro
@@stuartbear922 it’s a awesome company lifetime warranty on all there parts

I broke my radiator getting the hoses off because them bitches were stuck lol replacing it anyway but have to get some new hoses
Where’s the girl ?
I skipped this video multiple times bcuz there was a chick on the thumbnail. don't need that to get views.
just str8 to the point like he did.
Fpc
Isn’t it illegal to flip cars without a license lol
Who cares
😂Complete wrong video. I have an e90, none of these steps make any sense because nothing is in the same place, not even the same engine. Maybe check your description. Wasted 5 minutes of my time.
