  • Are you working on your motion design skills (beginner OR advanced) but not sure what mini-projects to start with that aren't overwhelming? When I first started learning motion design on my own, I wanted to get those lessons into something concrete for my portfolio, asap.
    Although motion design is already time-intensive, there's ways to get better at it WHILE creating portfolio-worthy projects in the process. Hopefully these project ideas can kickstart something cool for you!

    Great video! Can you tell me how you created the curve/tunnel effect @2:16? Was it in AE or something else? I tried using motion tiles and curving geometry but can't seem to get the same effect

      Hi there! I didn't create those animation examples, but I would imagine its something to do with using the cc cylinder effect in After Effects - maybe this video can help? ruclips.net/video/6JvcqcDX4aY/видео.html

    I just came on video and you mentioned a sketchbook, where do you recommend to add them? I have some saved on my computer but would like to have them to just show friends or for my own thing like you mentioned. Thank you

    • @audreyhavey
      @audreyhavey  Месяц назад +1

      If you're referring to a digital sketchbook, you could easily just add your motion-illustrations in a composition (maybe a size like 1080x1350) within After Effects and arrange them however you'd like! Especially if you're able to make them loop

    Brilliant Audrey thank you 👏 Do you know how Reece got the hand drawn effect on the raven here: ruclips.net/video/jrAkxk354oY/видео.html ?

    • @audreyhavey
      @audreyhavey  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hihi!! So Reece’s hand-drawn look actually comes from him animating BY hand via frame by frame (in procreate i believe) - it’s his signature animated style!
