The ACC sent 6 teams to Bowls that year the record was 4-1-1. Clemson beat Illinois (who I think tied Colorado) 30-0. and they finished ranked #9 in the final poll. Clemson only lost to GA Tech and UVA that year. Giving Colorado a share of the Nat'l Championship that year was a true disgrace to athletics, sportsmanship and fairness.
