I'd love to have the benefits of a maritime climate. I live in a "warm" Zone 7a." But a Humid Continental climate. Every third winter temperatures dip to or a little below 5F. When that happens, my Sabals get lit up. My Trachy gets lit up, and even my Needles will pull spears occasionally. Yet, and here's the unfair part, it's only 2 to 4 days of that kind of cold that we'll have in a given year. Take those days off our calendar, we'd be a solid 8a.
Excellent work on showcasing this masterpiece garden! I'm inspired to add more trunking yuccas to my own property now - did you catch the names of the less common ones that are flourishing here? It looks like there's more than gloriosa, rigida, recurvifolia, and rostrata.
You got it! There is also gloriosa variegata, color guard, gloriosa ‘superba’ which has much shorter and rigid leaflets, also some filementosa and Yucca thompsoniana.👍
This garden is amazing.
Awesome garden. Happy New Year!
All the best to you!
Great video! Everything looks so green and healthy! The Windmills and European Fans look like they were made for that climate.

Much appreciated, Sir! I've read that thompsoniana does well here - think I'm going to order some seeds.
