Green shade cloth or changing position of the plants mi8 help, take plants indoors especially plants that don't require direct sunlight.. Buy plants that are tolerant to high heat settings like cactus etc
Please discuss on South West balconies too . I am in Bangalore. My balcony is very sunny during winters(September to March) and Bright but direct sun from March to August.please guide
Hello mam I stay on the 9th floor & we don't get direct sunlight in our balcony throughout the year although our balconies are very well ventilated & windy too. Actually I want to attract birds on my balcony. So given that there is no direct sunlight can you kindly suggest what plants I can grow which might help in getting the birds attracted to my balcony. Thank you so much
What about if your balcony harsh sunlight through out the day. We can't live without blackout curtains in any of our bedroom and all the plants i got from previous home have died😢
Hello Ekta Ji, Loved how you explain everything and maintain the usage of hands in between conversation. Just wanted to give you a suggestion as a video editor myself, I cannot let go the fact that you or who ever edits your video have done a lot of background noise removal thing which made your voice unstable. Kindly tell your editors to not use ai platforms to remove noise. Thank you so much ma'am.
People who want to grow winter flowers in north facing balcony...bring a cinereria with buds on it.. it will bloom in north facing balcony...but have a check on water and bugs attack
Very informative my north facing balcony gets more sunlight in summer than in winter so I have to put some green net during harsh summer days Oh k Ekta Please make separate videos on each direction
hi.. even our very own money plant.. one the easiest to grow in any kind of space.. only one thing to keep in mind not to place it in harsh or direct sun.
Hey Ekta please make videos on plants (both flowering and ornamental) suitable for south west balcony/window. I live in Mumbai and throughout the year(of course except monsoons) after 1 or 2 pm we have scorching hot sunshine till sun set in our balconies. Which plants can bear this super hot and humid weather. Most of the nurseries are full of plants which need less sunshine. As soon as I ask nurseryman ‘strong dhoop me chalega’😢….even without listening they reply, “haan haan le jao bina dhoop ke bhi chalta hai ye …indoor mein bhi chalega” ….I say, “ are bhaiya mujhe strong dhoop waale plants chahiye’ ….then they say ‘haan dhoop mein bhi chalega’ …..😮 after returning home when I check about the plant on internet I discover it’s a shade loving plant. Even about flowering plants I usually get information’ love morning sunlight of 5-6 hours’. But our balcony gets afternoon sunlight. Since I am busy and have kids cannot care and keep indoor plants. (Once I tried but it was a great deal of work…moving them in washroom/balcony to water them both for dusting the leaves and for nourishment. Also keeping them in open air in balcony for proper growth {because no plants like living inside the house all the time throughout the month})
@@vrindajadhav6991 thanks for your reply but these plants don’t flower much in my pots….only the plant thrives….but no remarkable flowering. I have Areca palm, types of dracaena, crotons, ficus, oleander (although it doesn’t bear flowers), vinca (it flowers), zz (in a corner), pothos, syngoniums, a few miniature plants, and even monstera in a corner (although it’s not bearing very large leaves)
You can Google safe houseplants for cats and it will pull up a list. I’ve found palms to be in that safe list. My cats chew on everything too, so you have to be very careful.
Hey Ekta, can you make a video on plants which can survive and grow in dark areas. Especially for people who live on lower floors and get zero direct or in-direct sunlight like my home. I have to light a bulb even during day time.
@@fariyakhan1793 hello dear have you try it I have one peace lily plant the plant is getting only artificial light and i provide morning sunlight to it ever sunday. Peace Lily requires very low light you can check on RUclips

Can you please advise which plants can be kept in-house with cats ? They munch on any leaves, and I am worried they might be poisoned.
