Best Chicken Liver Recipe (30 min)

- Chicken Liver or lamb liver recipe under 30 min, awesome tasty and very easy . It can be served with rice bread or chapati.
This is one of the tastiest recipes ever so we decided to share with everyone. hope you make it and be surprised with the amazing flavour. Although we used chilli in the recipe, but you can avoid if you don't like spicy.
Ingredients:
-Chicken or lamb #liver 1kg
-Oil 2 tbsp
-Onion 2 large
-Garlic 4 cloves
-Chilli 2 or 3 (optional)
-Stock cube 1 (vegetable or chicken whatever available)
-Paprika powder 50 gm
-Salt & pepper 50 gm
-Chopped tomato 250gm
-Water 1/4 cup
-Parsley 10 gm
Description: To cook heat up the oil and saute the onion, then add garlic, chilli, stock cube, paprika, salt and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Once they are tempered add water and cook for about 15-minutes stir occasionally. at the end add parsley and finish cooking. Serve it with rice bread or chapati.

Beautiful recipe! I did a small change and it turned out very nice.
1. Marinated liver with 1tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp salt and 1tsp toasted oregano for an hour before cooking. Reduced later salt addition accordingly.
2. Added half a teaspoon of turmeric powder after onions were cooked.
3. Replaced pasley with fresh coriander

I cooked it. On the scale 1 to 10, my wife rated 10.
I placed this recipe on my "favorite recipes" list.
I added a pinch of oregano as well.
Try it with some marjoram brother. That's what we do in Poland and it is amazing :)

We made this recipe two nights ago and it was phenomenal! We ate it dished over couscous. I highly recommend it this way because of the gravy.

Yes, a bit of cumin powder is fine. You can always modify the recipe according to your palate 🤓
I will be using this recipe as my pie filling, A : should I cook the liver halfway because it's gonna go in the oven or not ? B : what does the parsley do? is it for flavor? . I would be very gratful if you answered, I'm starting to learn cooking 😊
Hi, sorry for late reply. Not sure if you have already tried. But you can do fully cooked as it won’t effect much. Parsley will be great but if you don’t like parsley I would say to avoid. Any questions feel free to ask 😊

Adding green veggies, or herbs actually enhances balance in digestion. The liver is acidifying, the parsley is alkalizing: nice balance, potent nutrition.

the measurements look wrong for the spices - 50 grams is a ton of Paprika
Livers turned it from vibrant to brown. 😕
It depends on personal preference, we like to cook it little bit Well done. If you want to keep the colour cook with less spice and cook it until medium.
As someone also mentioned. Fry first then add to sauce.
Chop those liver up before adding them lady!
When you cut liver raw it releases allot of blood. After all Chicken livers are usually not that big, so skip a big job and make your life easy. Still tasty and eatable. 😋

people that don't know anything about chicken liver shouldn't be cooking it. Chicken liver is cooked with onion and mushrooms. that's it. Just a bit of salt and that's it.
