Because i don't think that she's part of the very best female singers... but that's just my opinion of course... i know London Grammar since their 1st lp...i think they're good but not to the point to be impressed... There's so many singers these days that bein' at the very top is a nearly impossible task... it's too subjective anyway... How to compare different style of singing ? i think it's nearly absurd to compare different styles & musicalgenres and put them in a sort of spirit of competition...
I hear potential in L.G. ... that's all i ask for...

Probably one of my top most watched performances ever, since it was released 6 years ago. Hannah Reid's voice is a phonomenon and always gives me chills. The echo and orchestra are the cherry on the cake.

Hannah is one of the few artists with severe stage fright. They’ve also (as a band) been able to push back and tell recording companies and tour management no so she can regularly let her vocal chords heal. After their first album she had real issues with it. Looks like she was wise to do it the way she is.
I didn’t realize this. As much as I can’t wait to see them live, I rather see Hannah healthy and happy about performing live. We can’t ever imagine the stress these artists go through while performing in front of an audience.

I was lucky enough to hear this at Falls Festival on New Years Eve at Marion Bay in Tasmania. This song in a paddock in front of thousands with distant mountains, bush and oceans bays. Amazing, flawless and goosebump making.

In a way it kind of reminds me of Salvador Sobral, for its uniqueness, the voice that just penetrates your soul and the sheer quality and class in every single second.

If youre interested, this was shot at the Hackney round chapel in london. They had a gig there a few weeks later. Tickets went on sale at 10.00am online, on whatever day, cant remember!! I was ready with my code, finger posed on the icon..... 10 o clock, bang hit the keyboard......10.00am and 0.07 seconds later, sold out

Am I the only one who feels a sense of encouragement and nostalgia from this song? Something about her voice, the melody and the way she sings "I'll be rooting for you". It just reminds me of my younger days, and makes me want to get out of my house and achieve 🤔

Reminds me of falling in love with an Israeli guy when I was traveling; listening to it on repeat on the sleeper buses thinking to myself, wow, I'm in love with someone I can never be with - he's Jewish. After months apart, he visited me in the UK and it was yet again- magical. In 4 months time, I plan to see him in Aus. And yet, I think to myself, 'I'm so in love with someone I can never be with and yet- here we go again.
