One of my favs of London Grammar, hands down.
I am 65 year man. My daughter, whom God gave to me, is the best gift any man get. She is 28, mentally challenged, and will live with us for the rest of her life. I AM BLESSES. To the point, she turns me on to so much great music, that I would never pay attention to ordinarily. This artist is now on my play list forever.
Isn't it great when you discover new music . Voice of an angle and great composition , Love London Grammar . Best wishes to you and your daughter over Christmas.
@@adamparker9765 Thank you

Moronstyle.. you think about yourself, thats why Antinatalism became famous you optimism-bias people try to see the good in the bad just for the Sake to say life is good, you are not her!!
Never admit to suffering is bad=stupid
The future of music has begun with the first appearance of London Grammar
I think this is one of the most underrated bands of our time. I discovered them to myself a few months ago and can't stop listening.
I discovered them in 2019 and I've been a fan ever since.
Is there an album either of you recommend? I definitely want to listen to more of them.
@@GettingbentoI suggest you to start with their most recent one, Californian Soil, then you can continue with their debut If You Wait and sencond Truth Is A Beautiful Thing.
I agree!
Same!
Unique voice, poetic lyrics simply one of a kind. What the fuck are people listening nowadays? London Grammar for life. Thank you for being different.
iri b I was introduced to London Grammar through Karnivool (an Australian prog rock band) covering Hey Now. Went out and bought the album and am loving the new stuff. Hannah's voice is one of those once a generation treats. Can also recommend listening to Aurora. Something special about the way she performs, as if the person is just the shell for the performance.
iris ff it is called diversity. We cannot all be listening one same thing.
To answer you I also listen to LP, First Aid Kit, Lana Del Ray and Laura Marling.!
agreed
Lyrics
We both know that you wanna love her
Skies are open crying, please don't believe her
'Cause she'll tell you lies and then say it doesn't matter
And you're pleased to see her calling them non-believers
But maybe she loves you and I'm just a preacher
Those burning skies and all who don't believe her
Non-believers, no
Don't believe her, no
All that we are, all that we need
They're different things
Oh, maybe what we are and what we need
They're different things
Do you realize again, you chased an idea
Healed an earth behind some broken creature
Maybe she loves you and I'm just a preacher
Non-believers crying don't believe her
Don't believe her, no
Don't believe her, no
All that we are, all that we need
They're different things
Oh, maybe what we are and what we need
They're different things
Give you my all and you're taking my everything
All that we are, all that we need
They're different things
Oh, maybe what we are and what we need
They're different things
All that we are, all that we need
They're different things
Oh, maybe what we are and what we need
They're different things
All that we are, that we need
All what we are, what we need
Her voice can buy you tickets for a trip to Dreamland...Unique soul haunting experience...
Intelligent singer, intelligent song.
One of the if not the greatest original musical talent to emerge over the last decade. Easily, no contest
Very stupid comment, nice work.
Very nice Group, have some similar sounds and style to October Projects, first and second Albums. London Grammar has a Beautiful songs.
I feel so overwhelmed by this combination of music and visuals. Haunting and beautiful.
when that bass drops, my panties drop
It truly is!
She is troubled with what all has been happening in her mind, with her desires. So she decided to face her innermost demon thoughts, which everyone else is afraid of and running away from. She already has a boyfriend (black guy) but also desires the red haired guy, that's what troubling her and she started to think is she even a good person. That's why the line "all what we are, all what we need are different things". Means we might love someone but still want some one else. So finally she took the courage to face her desire (the red haired guy) and killed him. (desire not the actual guy). Now in the end she is happy and at peace with herself.
Fits in well with the rest of the album too.
I might be simple, but isn't it just about "letting go", just be true, just live. Honestly, I guess we can interpret this track to our dying day, and if we see it in a way that changes our lives, it is great. I suppose that is a musical artists greatest idea, to make something better in someones lives. Thanks...again!
" Oh, maybe what we are and what we need
They're different things."
Well What I need is this song. Everyday. For the rest of my life.
We both know that you wanna love her
Skies are open crying, please don't believe her
'Cause she'll tell you lies and then say it doesn't matter
And you're pleased to see her calling them non-believers
But maybe she loves you and I'm just a preacher
Those burning skies and all who don't believe her
Non-believers, no
Don't believe her, no
All that we are, all that we need
They're different things
Oh, maybe what we are and what we need
They're different things
Do you realize again, you chased an idea
Healed an earth behind some broken creature
Maybe she loves you and I'm just a preacher
Non-believers crying don't believe her
Don't believe her, no
Don't believe her, no
All that we are, all that we need
They're different things
Oh, maybe what we are and what we…
This is comment that I looking for
Thank you, shoot just reading it makes me cry dang
@@tdrisker2 .
I think it's "Heels and earth" or "Heels on earth" like a metaphor for running after something without thinking. But I've found lyrics in both ways in multiple places so it could be either way.
Oha Türk
After hearing this tune a dozen times, it has become clear how utterly fabulous it is.
I find the same thing. Listen to a track a dozen times, and most of them become favorites.
This is amazing, I'm 62 and cannot stop listen to your magic music, thank you.
i mean every London Grammer song is amazing.......but this is the best i think
Add : oh woman oh man
I fully agree
It’s about the inner life we experience as we struggle with desires, regrets, all sorts of irreconcilable differences... the journey through the chasm represents wish for death, a final resolution, or a return to an earlier time where things were just better...notice the surrounds transitioning from being turbulent, to harmonious, as she falls.

When you pour a glass of water. Do you stop when it is "full."
It reminds me of the film “The Tree Of Life” with Brad Pitt and Sean Penn.
What a way to start the day!
what a way to end it too
@@EdwardGFunk And the bits in the middle too 😁
My favourite song of the album.

Is my favorite song too 💙
Always find myself coming back to this song after it helped me get through a heartbreak. It stopped hurting a long time ago and i found someone to love again, but now this song still sticks with me and I'll forever be grateful to London Grammar 💙
Listening to this song is like going on a journey…seemlessly crafted.

Such a hauntingly beautiful song. They deserve much more credit than what they get ...
Seems to me this marks a new level of maturity for their songs - sophisticated and so well produced - oh and utterly lush to listen to!
I'm in a very dark place atm, and this made me fell sad and better at the same time. I cannot give up. I will not give up. Thanks London Grammer!
I've welcomed 2022 with this song. It may be ominously accurate to what is happening in my little heart, but I will welcome whatever may come with straight face and clear gaze. That is what I've promised myself.
I know I am not alone in being impatient for new music, from the best band on Earth, London Grammar.
"All that we are, all that we need
They're different things"
powerful and underrated song...
She sung that as I read yout comment...
Speechless, absolutely stunning video!
Trent Welch, I knew I'd find you here, you've commented on practically every song on the Album, good to see other enthusiastic fans out there..

Hi!
I'm 15 and I sing and write songs and I play guitar and ukulele and Im trying to make my dream come true
And i uploaded an original song about overcoming my insecurities and stuff and it would mean a lot if you checked it out and told me what you think❤️
Sorry for the self promo I just really need this❤️
????? ??????? Shut up!!!
Hard to believe, but music like this always apears in my life at the perfect moment. It finds and saves me... amazing.
I'm brazilian and i love this song. But this song marked such a strong time in my life, that i haven't been able to listen to this song without breaking myself since 2018. Today, 6 years later, i can listen to it without crying. It seems small, but i feel proud of myself for that. so many memories.
Best of luck for you ! Remember the darkest hour comes just before the dawn ☀️
Exudes "saudade" in every beat, I understand you, and kinda feel the same way. cannot "sing" without voice breaking a little
Pra mim tbm, toda vez que a escuto lembro dessa época difícil. E ainda causa grande impacto... Essa banda é um presente, mesmo! Força aí!! 🌷
Xx❤

This is my first experience with London Grammar.
I am in love with this song. It is beautiful. Thank you.
They give me trip hop vibes. I love this chilled out, soulfull, heavy music

The vocoder part at 03:00 gets me every time. It's a magnific song.
Just when music seems to not be appealing anymore, something powerful and emotional comes along and inspires me. Very cool.
I just love Hannah's voice

Man the cinematography of this is beyond words its amazing
The videography in this has to be some of the best I have ever seen. Astonishing! Song is fantastic as well.
The emotion on her face is haunting.. Graphics are so beautiful, Hannah's voice has such depth and the music is the perfect glove to hold all this together. Thank you London Grammar, bravo X
I love her 'acting' too. It's stunning and very natural
Blows my mind how somebody could actually dislike this. Its brilliant

This song is my anthem. Idk why it is so underrated
When you're standing in McDonald's waiting for your food and this song comes over the speakers and you're like "I WILL find out what this song is before I leave.". That was me ten minutes ago!
Ha ha i work in McDonalds & its on the playlist just HAD to find out who it was. LOVE IT :)
It happen the exact same thing with me. I went to the bathroom, I was there alone with this amazing song and I thought to myself "try to fix as many words you can to search for it later". When I found it I was pretty happy. (Sorry about my english, I speak portuguese)

These songs are very underrated🖤❤️
There’s certain music that’s just made for driving at night on motorways/freeways.
Unfortunately I haven’t driven for five or so years now and since forgotten how much I love and how underrated LG are.
Seriously if you haven’t driven at night on an open road cruising to them, try it. ❤️
i love how the lyrics goes to '' all that we are all that we need there are different things''
but then she changes the lyrics to '' oh maybe all that we are....''
beautiful . i really love london grammar
London Grammar never disappoints🥰❤🙏🇰🇲
Beautiful song !!!

Perfect. Not just the song of the year, but now one of my favourite clips, ever.
Thank you so much for this song, it's so hard not to go back when you wired yourself to go back no matter the cost.
This is nothing short of a piece of art. Thank you London Grammar!
Whenever I watch this video (and listen to this song) I keep getting the impression of falling between space and time.
Just once in a generation a band comes along that redefines genius, I am truly honoured to witness the magic of London Grammar..
Absolutely stunning like everything else from this amazing group.
This jump into the nothing is so POWERFUL and the way she does it, without thinking twice
This song is so beautiful but sad, too. I'm just in that place, you know?
This video just took me on a worldy/celestial adventure. i love LG so much holy crap
This song deserves my everything
From the last 4.00 minutes to 4.09 minutes, is a message, pure genius, what an artists, one of the ultimates. In my opinion anyway.
