The la la la's in this song touch me every time - when I first heard it I thought "where has this song been all my life?" and get teary eyed but feel it deep in my spirit as well. I made that mechanical caterpillar! Wow, that was like 20 years ago in Portland. The outside body form was dryer tubing and spray foam sprayed with olive oil. The gears and whatnot were being cranked by a few guys behind it. I loved the creative freedom I had with this. I got into props work cause it was like arts and crafts meets puzzle solving. Using creative problem solving to make something fit into the scene. This one was the height of that.
