Any team can get on a run and win this thing. 2022 Tennessee team was loaded and got beat in the supers by Notre Dame. Tennessee this year we are all thinking about the #1 curse. But they have lived up, that number one billing so far. But Texas A&M is playing ball and their pitching staff has been shutting people down so we definitely have to not count any chickens before they hatch. I'm a Ky fan. We beat N.C. State in extra innings in a game that could've gone either way. All 8 teams were really good, but Tennessee and A&M have both superior offense and pitching. Should be a great final series.
As an Aggie, Tennessee is the best team in the nation. Aggies are hobbling into these finals without our best player and without one of our best pitchers and with three starters at 80%. A&M winning is absolutely possible but it would definitely be an upset.
I definitely think A&M can beat Tennessee at least once. It's baseball. You have 3 vs 1 and really A&M could have come in here 1 or 2. If A&M's pitchers come out and have a really, really good day, then yeah, they can and probably will win. If the Vols come out pitch well and hit like they have been, then they will win. TAM has more of a chance than people think, because the starting pitcher up first for this game in Vitello's rotation is very beatable. And since Vitello has already yanked Stamos before the 2nd once already here in Omaha, my guess is Vitello will be reluctant to do so again.
Stamos isn’t the actual starter. Causey is the “starter” and goes more innings after Stamos is burned. It’s a weird set up but Causey has a 3.9 ERA with 109 SOs in 81 innings. Hitable but won’t be easy.
You know teams are scarred of Tony and the orange monster so they go to get their excuses ready for saturday . To the guy that said we would do the same if cmo or burk was out. Nope we have 7 other major league future players we count on also. We are what other teams used to say about Saban and Bama. We are just loaded and reload every year. A&M are just a better team. Vols pitching are not going to stop A&M's hitting. Florida has a good pitching crew but A&M put 6 on them. Vols pitching are ok but they have been blasted on occasion. A&M are the most consistent team in the country. Never lost any games more than 2 runs all season. Vols are going to have to hit well but I don't see them doing so against A&Ms pitching

I think this series is where A&M’s injuries finally catch up to them. Tennessee just has too much firepower. Their pitching is also underrated in analysis I’ve heard. Everyone’s assuming TAMU has superior pitching but with Sdao out, I’m genuinely not sure that’s true. Advantage Vols.

We have only used 5 different pitchers in 3 games. The bull pin should be in great shape. Tanner jones should get the other game. He’s been the Saturday starter most of the year. He hasn’t started as of late after struggling for a bit but he has the ability. Prager should go game one. If lamkin isn’t ready jones will go game 2
