I never felt Florida State was going to come back. Every shot of their dugout showed a lot of frustration and negative body language. Tennessee always looks the same whether they are ahead or behind in a game.

The FSU coach gently placed Arnold under the bus for his hopes of much of a future. Arnold told him he wasn't going to be ready after 5 days rest? Then he didn't play him for that reason? I bet that team was pretty upset with that! Coach never said he tweaked something, something didn't feel right...nope...just said Arnold didn't feel like he was ready to pitch. Hey scouts...did you hear that??? You play a 5 day schedule and Arnold wasn't ready with 5 days rest. You had to start a freshman instead. I bet the FSU dugout did look unhappy every time they panned over there.

I thought a&m had elite pitching bc of the “common taters” but I looked at the numbers and they’re right behind us in every category

In the CWS, A&M's starting pitching has a 0.00 ERA, and combined staff 1.00 ERA. For the playoffs, 2.75 ERA. Just saying...
Also, to answer your question, Schloss wasn't playing the SEC Tournament to win. He was playing to exit, and save the arms and rest up for THE NCAA Tournament. They players have already said as much.

That’s a convenient excuse for losing in the SEC Tournament lol

@@mohnjayer Have you seen the player interviews talking about the SEC tournament's planned exits, resting arms, etc.? That's what they said. LOL
No one from A&M actually cared about the SEC tournament. Schloss even said before the tournament that he wished they'd do away with it. Try to keep up, Skippy...LOLOLOL

No Reese for this game as a DH, nor Backus. They both look like scared HS kids out there batting over the last numerous at bats. They don't look confident. Put in Bargo as your DH. Pull the pitchers when there are numerous hits and walks by them before someone gets a homer off of them. The goal is to get them off the mound before there are bases loaded and no one out or RBI's in succession without getting outs. Also, playing in the ACC is just not the same as trying to pitch and hit against the SEC. We are the ACC champs as well this season. Should take the series as long as we do these things and play smart. UF lost by swinging at everything while losing the pitching battle.
