Buying clothes has been the best part of WLS. I have had to buy an entire wardrobe twice now...argh! soooooo expensive! I thought I had hit my goal when I bought the first wardrobe, but it was a bit premature, so beware when spending money on new clothes. I should have bought used clothing initially, but didn't. Being able to wear clothes I actually like, versus clothes that just fit & aren't hideous is a trip. Nordstrom has become my best friend. The comments from coworkers about yet another new piece of clothing is a bit annoying however. I wanna shout "well no shit! Everything is new, have you noticed the 150lb weight loss? There is a reason. I don't have a choice!"
Thank you so much for making this video, I recently lost about 100 pounds and I've been super excited to build my wardrobe back up, but it's also been kind of a struggle because I was really familiar and happy with the clothes I had before I lost weight and I never realized how hard it is to style things with an entirely new wardrobe!
You're so inspiring I will be getting my Rny surgery February 21st I have looked at every video of yours so I will be doing all the meal preps from your page thank you so much for sharing with us
I’m 5 days post op VSG, this was so motivating and helpful for me! I’m still struggling with cravings and keeping liquids down. Your channel and insta have given me life tonight! 👏🏼 thank you!
I love your channel!! I got my surgery on the 14th and I’ve been binge watching your videos for a few days. I especially love this video because I have no idea what fashion I am into and being smaller will open up so much more style wise. I can’t wait to get to my goal weight
I made the decision at the beginning of my weight loss not to buy any clothes until I reach my goal. My weightloss isn't as large as yours, 77 lbs down with at least 13 more to go. But I have had friends give me clothes so I have stuff to wear that fits (or at least doesn't fall off 😂) as soon as I hit my goal and am happy with my weight I'm going on a shopping spree!
I'm 12 days post op from gastric bypass surgery and 18 lbs down. I have 3 closets full of clothes from size 22-16. I have no idea what to keep!! Any advice?
Did you change your style after you lost weight? Did you start wearing more girly things? I’ve been bigger most of my life and never felt comfortable in dresses 👗 and skirts. I abhor heels 👠. I will definitely be buying thigh high boots when I lose the weight. You should do a video about your old style versus your new style. You’re current choices are definitely more glamorous.
Hello been loving your channel you Inspired me to go through with my own Vsg surgery I’m post op little over 2 months😊quick question are you still using the let it grow shampoo and other treatments? If so do you recommend me buying it? I’m really concerned about the hair loss phase.. but it seems like you got through that no problem so wondering if that shampoo and any other items from there company works.. thanks in advance
I feel like this is going to be another thing that will bother me about weight loss constantly buying clothes that'll fit I'm trying to go from an XL to a medium
