I don’t always get my car serviced that frequently I never have and never had much of a problem when something is starting to be a little issue I just go get it fixed and they tell me what else is wrong. That’s when I get it fixed this particular Mercedes is really reliable so problems don’t occur that often.
Just a tip, make sure you know how to do some simple services such as oil changes etc, will save you a bunch. My dad has been a car, semi, truck, and airplane mechanic for the past 30 years so I kinda got it easy but make sure you don’t bring it to the dealer unless you have to, also have some knowledge on your car. If your a girl dealers are more likely to say something is wrong when it’s really not 🤷
I saw the reply off BMW Florida and I agree. This video was a year ago and I do hope that you don't go a Mercedes dealership anymore. I went to a garage in Edmonton and these guys have 30 years experience with Mercedes I paid 496 for a B service as where the dealership wanted to charge me 850. As I said before don't go to a dealership but shop around and ask questions.
My local dealer did maintanece on my GLA250 the first 3 years for free. Last year I did my first maintanence and it was about 170USD (3200MXN). This year Im looking to do it myself and it'll only incluye oil, oil filter. Did my air filter just months ago and it was 15USD. It doesnt have to be as expencive as the dealer always charges waay to much. Would only take it once every 3-5 years. Battery is my next big change.
@@POGAuto Service B consists of:oil replacement , Oil filter replacement, Fluid level checks and corrections, Tire inflation check and correction, Cabin dust/combination filter replacement, Brake component inspection, Brake fluid exchange, Reset maintenance counter in addition to Service A. Honestly, my Jetta was $800 when I took it in for the 20,000/60000/80000 mile services. It’s an investment in keeping your car on the road longer.
Thanks for the video. Was curious what the service dealer pkg. would be. I figured it would be expensive. Have been considering buying one of these....used 2018 or 2019. Oil/filter changes on these are pretty easy to do (see RUclips video on it) , so I'll do that myself. Same for the brakes.
She does like the car, the brakes and tires were covered in the video but she does use winter tires as well, so the milage on the tires are mixed in between winter tires and the all season tires.
I have one, 4matic. Smooth driving, no complaint. Continental tire: Almost all German car makers use tires from Continental. My brake works perfect. Make sure you get the premium package too. GLA250: strongly recommended in terms of driving experience and gas mileage. BTW, back row might have less leg space for tall people.
@@homevp love my gla 250. I bought the 2018 one used about a month ago, and it has the premium package. It's good on premium gas. I used to drive a '97 Camry.. probably why i love it so much haha 😂
what did you do, exactly? Can I do it myself without experience? My life went off in the car.. and I really need to save my money right now. THANK YOU if you respond.. ;)
Expensive oil change. But 16k first oil change. Way too long. I would buy one and have them throw in 6 oil filters cabin filter air filter and say adios!
An oil change doesn't cost $800 dollars the most they will charge you is less $75 dollars. This dude is full of shit, i own a 2018 jaguar xf and the oil change never goes over $50 bucks.
Part of the video was taken from another you tuber. Wow. So the view of the ambient lighting was not his sisters car. SMH. Why …..use your own material please
Year 1 A1 - $465,
Year 2, B1 - $721,
Year 3, A2 - $505,
vs $799 for 3 year package
To save you some time...
The 3 year is no longer $799 I believe it is $1179
Hell no 🤣 run 🏃🏻♂️

thanks for this vid. I am strongly considering this car and want to know fully what I'm getting myself into, thanks for the insight.
Same

Hey I’m looking into getting this vehicle, how has yours treated you? If you did end up purchasing
Buy a Honda or Toyota and save yourself the headaches
A very high price for basically an oil change, tire rotation and service light reset.
I service my own car. Saves me alot of money.
Its the way to go.

Dealership is the best for a new car just be smart and buy prepaid maintenance.

Good effort on the video but $800 to change the oil and rotate tires is definitely a rip off. Lol.
$800 was for the 3 prepaid scheduled service
Can you go anywhere cheaper like an oil change place
@@POGAuto they don't understand. They drive Hondas

Holy swirl marks!! I hope the dealer wasn't the ones that did that....cause I would have made them pay for a respray or paint correction.
Yea he took it to the dealer thats why its so expensive.

Wasted 3 minutes showing him driving
Everything is more expensive in Canada.
Hi! Can you show me how to automatic fold the mirror?
Don't forget to add the need for Premium Fuel that is required on these
did they change blinker fluid
Hopefully 😂🤣
🤪🤪🤪🤪
Services at MB are ridiculous. Basically an oil change and a tire rotation.
Thanks for sharing the experience
Ripped off..... why I hate dealerships. Lesson learned.
200 hundred oil change in Georgia
How do you get the mirrors to fold in? I have the same vehicle but I cannot figure it out...
i know im kinda late but ive got a 2017 and they fold manually
Nice vid!
Thank you
How many years of extended warranty does GLA 250 can avail ?
Not sure... Factory warranty is 3 years.
How are you getting cars to review, besides yours and your sister?
Your sunglasses are way too small. I’m worried they will crush your head
how does she like the car ? i am thinking about buying one ? how are the tires / brakes
