Dr Vlach, your teaching on this subject is so clear, biblical, and reasonable. The charts were very helpful along with all of the scripture references. Thank you!
This is the best, most organized and clear teaching I've ever heard on this. Thank you for your diligent study and ability to convey truth in such an understandable way. Its worth the time and effort!
Dear Dr. Vlach, thank God for your life. Please try to upload your videos translating in Spanish. I know a little bit of English, but I do not understand all your teachings. Best regards.
A friend of mine has abandoned Dispensational theology and has turned against Israel having a place in God's plan and has adopted replacement theology. But he needs to go back to the promise of land made to Abraham so long as the sun and moon continue to exist. So that promises exist at least to the creation of the new heaven and new earth.
@@tomtemple69 ...yes, The Gospel believers are grafted in and Israel will be re-grafted in. In the meantime, Israel had a peculiar purpose that is not that for The Church.
He has a purpose and a mission for the Church, and He has a promise that is unconditional that He must keep to Israel, so long as the sun and moon exist@@tomtemple69
The relationship between the Church and Israel is one of the major points of disagreement that I have with dispensationalism. As I understand it (as a proponent of something called "olive tree theology"), Gentile followers of Jesus are grafted into the Abrahamic olive tree. Gentile Christians are just as much Israelites as are the righteous remnant of believing Israelites. We become rightful heirs to the covenants, promises, and blessings pronounced in the Old Covenant. _However,_ Gentile Christians under no circumstances replace Jewish believers in Yeshua. We can't replace something that we've been grafted into! Ethnoterritorial Israel still plays a central role in the redemptive-kingdom plan of God. We mustn't boast against the natural branches! It's by the grace of God that we've been brought into a preexisting salvific program!
Just because there is a spiritual fulfillment in Christ doesn’t negate the promises to the natural branches per Rom 11 and all the associated prophecies in relation to her.
Your emphasis on "gentiles do not become part of a redefined spiritual Israel", when Romans 11 and john 15 are so clear (we are grafted to the vine, which is Israel, which is also Christ) makes me wonder if you would not be a dispensationalist? Of course, only a dispensationalist, by ricochet a pretrib rapture defender, would need a clear distinction between the physical nation of Israel and the saved nations is faith in Christ... do you hold a dispensational view of the bible?
The church and Israel are distinct?? oups... Jer 31:31 The days are surely coming, says the LORD, when I will make a NEW COVENANT with the HOUSE OF ISRAEL and the house of Judah. Jer 31:32 It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt-a covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, says the LORD. Oh man... it's going to be rough twisting that one.. good luck!
Moses came and struck the heals before Jesus did..... yet the mind of man see's only what he see's, a father who delivers serpents and kills them.... moses was the sepernt, to untangled the serpent mind. To strike the heal, is to break your foundation of belief, to get your head out of the sand, and walk with God, not against him. ❤ If you have not got GOD by your side, you have no legs to stand on, but a cane to hold you up, limping your way through the tree of life, unable to do anything by yourself.
This is perfect timing (providentially) because I am teaching on the Abrahamic Covt this Sunday in my sermon. Thanks! This was MASSIVELY helpful!

Best I have heard on point. Well done.
Tks you for making this content available to us. Watching from Brazil.
Great video, hits at a truly significant dividing line in the dispy/covenantal debate. Keep up the good work!
Amazingly clear and Biblical, thank you!

Dr. Vlach, are Isaac and Jacob also believing special physical seed?
Yes

It's not replacement theology, the gentiles are grafted into the tree

In Christ they both become one

Someone's gonna say that's "replacement theology"

"There are 4 seeds"
