Merry Christmas, are you working on concret wall in this video? And i think most of your work is installed on the concret wall, is that right? I thought wood or metal studs and drywall are more common in the uk. i guess i was wrong
Hello, I’m looking for advice on building simple and sturdy living room furniture. I’m wondering which type of wood would be the most suitable: is MDF or melamine better for a good balance between quality, price, and ease of work? Also, regarding assembly, what method would you recommend for a beginner? Are pocket hole screws (Kreg or other brands) a good option, or is there another method that’s simpler and more effective? Thank you in advance for your advice!
The simplest way as you see are to use screws if non of you side gable will be seen not it is a vague question regarding what material should you use for example laminate chipboards are the cheapest solution the advantages are that they are cheap and come in large variety of colours and finishes the MFD is a bit high quality than MDF but they are more expensive and the finishes and colours are a bit limited so if you are going to use only screws to put them together be aware that it is a bit challenging drill on the end grain of MDF as the can easily split so you might have to use different types of fixings mechanical cams and dowels etc so it depends on how you are planing to do it and the design and technique to put them together or you can go for play wood but the cost will go high as well the time to intall it too as you need to prepare it to be painted the paint its self can be expensive and you might need a professional painter so you have to think to all of that before starting take in count that you can make mistakes so that will add more time and money
