How To Lose Lower Abdominal Fat: What is the best way to lose lower belly fat and get a flat stomach from top to bottom? If you want to burn lower belly fat and get clearly defined six pack abs, it really just comes down to fat loss in general by lowering your overall body fat percentage. There is no way to specifically target lower ab fat using special ab workouts or dieting strategies - it just comes down to getting leaner in general. However, an important question to ask before even attempting to achieve those perfectly flat abs is whether or not it's even worth it in the first place. In order to get those truly "ripped abs" you're going to need to get very lean overall, and in many cases the diet restriction and side effects just aren't worth it. That's what we'll be mainly discussing in today's video, so make sure to watch it all the way through as it's a very important fat loss discussion that many people don't even consider when trying to get lean abs.

my goal isnt to get shredded, and i agree about sean, but its possible my body fat distribution is good enough to where i can get the lower abs visible while being in a reasonable body fat % (10-15) so i am curious
      - im not worried about my diet, since im lean bulking rn. idk what body fat i'd say i am rn but i feel like if i lost like 3 kg (of fat) my abs would fully show (except for the lower part) but thats not my goal at least not right now
      - how do i fix pelvic anterior tilt?
      - i basically train abs once a week (most ppl recommend once or twice a week since compounds work them a lot), and i do a shit ton of compounds; deadlift 1x a week, barbell bench press 2x, dumbbell bench 2x (i do dumbbell and barbell benches in the same workout, 3 sets of each), incline dumbbell bench 1x, ohp 2x, bulgarian split squat 2x, hack squat 1x, leg press 1x, romanian deadlift 2x, wide grip pullup 1x, neutral grip pullup 1x.
what i do for my abs is 3x12-20 cable crunches, 3x6-15 hanging leg raise (i still do them on the captains chair, eventually i'll do them hanging off a bar, and then weighted), and 3x15-20 bicycle crunches (15-20 reps each side). but since im doing full body 5x i actually split these exercises up into separate days, so i guess im training abs 3 times a week (but not really). what are your thoughts?
      - and lastly what kinda vacuum pulling exercises should i do?

In order to get sub 10% BF this year I was averaging 22k steps per day, volume eating (vegetable smoothies and a lot of plain chicken) to feel full, accurately tracking calories & macros daily and never having cheat meals. I would feel lethargic, lost of ton of strength on my lifts in the gym & still had a tiny bit of fat on my lower stomach. It may also be a bit of excess skin from when I was overweight. It's true you don't look impressive in a T-shirt at sub 10% body fat, you just look like an average Joe on the street. I like the 12-13% BF range since you look more impressive in a shirt and still have well defined abs, as well as a noticeable increase in strength and you don't feel like you are starving all day long.

I never experienced so much truth and down to earth-statements about the real advantage / disadvantage in a YT-Fitness-video… this is by FAR one of the best and encouraging fitness video to think and reflect about yourself and goals as a whole… I basically train since I’m a teenager - at home only with a lot of longer breaks between all these years… a few years ago I started training once again it was for the first again I could stick to it for a way longer time before just giving up once again… Since I started that one new… old journey… I’m still going… But there’s still a little roll of lower ab fat I can’t get rid of - which I didn’t had as a teenager at all… I look lean, I also a V-cut to my surprise… but when I sit down I still some kind of small fat roll which I don’t like at all… but the video makes really think about it and reconsider it… since I’m almost in my 40s and I’m not that 17 or year 18 old-teenager, when it seemed I could eat anything and look shredded with almost no body fat at all… This video gets me really thinking about, If I should go for the try to reach my teenager-physique from back in the days… thanks a lot Sean for all the realness and being honest in this video… some kind of eye-opening-video to me - although I still don’t like my remaining fat roll when I sit down.. 😅

Here's a simple way to ACTUALLY target belly fat: liposuction

  • @ysq724y
    @ysq724y 3 месяца назад

The video discusses strategies for achieving a lean, muscular physique and addresses the challenge of losing stubborn lower belly fat. The speaker emphasizes that while getting very lean is possible with the right plan, it's important to consider whether it's a worthwhile goal due to the sacrifices required.
    Key points include:
    1. Goal Evaluation: Assess whether achieving an extremely lean midsection is worth the effort and sacrifices.
    2. Realistic Expectations: Understand that having some lower belly fat is normal and most people, including fitness influencers, have it.
    3. Genetics and Fat Distribution: Genetics play a significant role in where fat is stored, and for most, the lower belly is the last place to lose fat.
    4. Exponential Difficulty: The leaner you get, the harder it is to lose additional fat due to the body's survival mechanisms.
    5. Side Effects of Low Body Fat: Lower body fat levels can lead to increased hunger, decreased energy, reduced strength, cognitive impairments, decreased sex drive, and poorer sleep quality.
    6. Aesthetics vs. Health: Being extremely lean may not always look or feel healthy, and it might not be aesthetically pleasing in normal clothing.
    7. Spot Reduction Myth: You cannot target fat loss in specific areas; overall body fat reduction is necessary.
    8. Calorie Deficit Strategies: Use strategies like low-calorie dense foods, meal frequency adjustments, increased low-intensity activity, refeed days, and diet breaks to maintain a calorie deficit.
    9. Maintaining Leanness: Achieving and maintaining very low body fat requires meticulous tracking and ongoing adjustments to diet and exercise.
    10. Personal Decision: Ultimately, the decision to pursue extreme leanness should be based on personal goals and a cost-benefit analysis of the effort required versus the benefits gained.
He concludes by suggesting that for most people, maintaining a reasonable body fat level is more sustainable and healthy. He also offers a free customized training and nutrition plan for those seeking guidance (check his website)

100% agree. When I wrestled, my body fat went to 4%, I was hospitalized, and I still had fat around the lower lateral abdominal section. I prefer my physique at 12%. And as you mentioned, the systemic consequences are real. I had liver damage (luckily he regenerates) and still have kidney damage ( luckily both still function but at 65%).

8:17 the tip about high volume low intensity cardio has been helping me a ton this past month. I was struggling to hit my 10K step goal a lot but I got a job a month ago and every shift I work I easily surpass 20K even 25K steps when I have the later shift. That nearly alone has helped me drop roughly 8 LBS in a month. Going to start incorporating a better meal plan and workout routine on my off days to stimulate muscle growth and keep the progress rather than having the off work days just be rebound days.

I know I'm probably the anomaly but its honestly worth it for me . I acknowledge I have good genes for staying lean and not being affected by the negative consequences but my bodyfat distribution is similar to Sean . When I'm at the end of a lean gaining phase I still have abs but they are faded and not impressive (to me) , my energy levels are actually lower and my cardiovascular fitness drops which I don't like . Id say 12% is really easy to maintain for me 10% is maintainable with minimal effort and lower than that is not that hard until i get to veins on my serratus level . I think everyone's body is different and the ease at which you stay at a certain bodyfat% depends on genetics , everyone can get to very lean but maintaining it probably isn't worth the consequences most get . I wish I could be 6% year round but that's where my university work and energy suffers usually . 8-12% is ideal for ME but don't expect the same .

Great video!...one thing that's lost on people is that life is so so so short....posting photos were your late teens early twenties is the time but once that late twenties hits life gets hard for most people....do and eat what makes you happy (to an extent obviously)....having a six pack to show off is great and is a massive achievement but is all that calorie cutting and gym time truly making you happy?....if the answer is yes then that's amazing!...never compare yourself to photos online cause that was nailed in this video....I have a photo in my phone that I strategically took with perfect lighting and perfect positioning to make my abs look massive! BUT that's all it is, it's a strategic photo taken to appear a certain way....hit full lighting and no flexing and that six pack is hard to even see...long story short, there's a LOT of hidden details and twisted reality when it comes to what your seeing with some people.....just be happy and be happy being you cause odds are your already more than enough already ✌️
