    I have 17000 sqft of lawn. After watching this video, I purchased this sprayer. Have you found a solution for emptying the tank completely during applications.? As you stated, when the tank gets low, its struggles to spray product. My product is too expensive to leave even an ounce! LOL. Once I figure out the in. diameter of the suction tube inside the tank, I going to attempt to extend the tube, place a tee and drop suction tubes on both side of the tank. Do you think that would work?

  • @mrBDeye
    @mrBDeye 2 года назад

    I wanted to build one after your design. Then I realized 10 gallons of water may be a bit heavy for me and my shoes will become wet. I have half acre lawn. I ended up buying a trailer sprayer to tow behind my riding mower.

  • @rymaster4385
    @rymaster4385 4 года назад +1

    Brett, I built one very similar, used the same tank. Have you noticed the intake port is about 2 inches off the bottom of the tank and when the solution level gets low, the pump can’t suck the remaining liquid out? Have you found a solution to this? I was thinking adding a hose in the tank to lay in the bottom, just need to figure out a way to secure it to the port in the tank.

    • @Brettsgrasscapades

    • @Brettsgrasscapades
      @Brettsgrasscapades  5 лет назад

      I honestly have not used it a ton lately. The pump is strong enough I just need to put in some check valves to prevent leaking and I think it would be awesome!

    11th! What did you use to mount the unit?

    • @Brettsgrasscapades
      @Brettsgrasscapades  5 лет назад

      So to mount it to the frame I cut a piece of plexiglass I had laying around to the dimensions of the frame, then there was 4 mounting holes in the bottom of the tank and I drilled hole in the plexi to match that. Super simple and easy to do.
