Great info I'm considering buying a work suv. Someone took it to different buying lots, 4 different offers were made. The worst offer came from a buying company who had their own report, not car facts. It was a rear end they said it had frame damage. The hatch you raise had not been changed one body panel on rear was not properly installed. The quotes were way different the suv does not pull and drives perfect. Thank you for the info so I can double check. I have had lots tell me a car was in a accident when we were trading in. We sold the car to a buying lot who said nothing was reported. They gave us top dollar so the dealer was lieing. That's no suprise. I'm going to do my own car fax on this suv and look under at Frame. I have laser for measuring it. The rear latch is loose but works, and rear back fender panel needs body tabs. I'm thinking it recieved a bumper and was put back the rest of the way with existing parts. Since it was on one side I will check for sway first then triangle and Sq. Thanks guys very good presentation

Suspension work done but it did not solve the issue, tires also upgraded n same fault. JUST tell me that how can one measure frame rails at home of CAR if it shifts from right to left .
Can you do a unibody frame analysis. I would like to see how a unibody frame can be damaged at low medium and high speeds and if it’s slow enough it didn’t damage or if it did damage how would you tell if it is damaged
Chassis frame is push in on my driver side where it's by my upper control arm at with is called supposed to be an A-frame if I'm not mistaken. My question really is can a bent or damaged frame eat your tire cause few say it doesn't everyone else I go to say it would so I need an answer from a teacher
You are describing this as if you are talking to another mechanic that understands what you mean. If your intention is to educate or help someone who doesn't know much about cars, use more visuals and lamens terms. Examples: stop saying specifications - I don't know what the specifications should be so I don't know what to compare it to.
Probably talking about manufacturer specifications. They have diagrams that show where bolt holes on the frame should be relative from the 0 and center line.
Adding some photos of damaged vehicles to illustrate the damage types would help students that learn visually.

I got a 2020 Benz that got frame damage but I can’t see it on the outside how bad is it?
Phones messed up so sound sucks do you talk about parking wrong to like parking your truck up a curb and bending your frame?
