I don’t know why she didn’t give the baby to them or someone. That poor baby had no chance it was like 10 months old.
I also thought of that case, and strangely that other monster that abandoned her baby also went to Puerto Rico. It seems like that motherly instinct is on the decline lately. I feel for the children of all of these selfish parents. 😢

My father would never have gone on a vacation without his children, but my aunt adopted 2 children and two weeks after the first arrived she unloaded the child at my grandparents so she and her husband to get "a much needed" 14 days vacation, my grandparents at the time were 70- years old. Society should be better at keeping an eye on child welfare and stop the pandering to single mothers.
The saddest thing is that my parents were junkies and I was taking care of myself just fine at 8 years old. That was the early 1970's and not many people intervened in stuff like that back then. I'm glad things have changed because it shivers my timbers to think of some of the things I saw and had to do for myself to survive. I moved out before I was 17, went to college and graduated with a baccalaureate degree in nursing. I wonder if I would have had the endurance to break free from the cycle without the backbone I acquired at such a young age? I had my only child ten years after being married and he has no idea the bullet he dodged had I not been determined to change my fate being born into that kind of lifestyle.

Same here. Both parents worked and at 6, I was cooking myself with 9 year old brother. They said this ladies condo had poop and urine threw out which makes me suspect her kids aren't even toilet trained at 6 and 8 years old. She needs prison time and kids in foster care.

Pretty much every apartment is considered a "luxury apartment" if it has a pool and a weight room. Cruises are cheap compared to paying for 24x7 baby sitter. What is amazing is that she couldn't get a father, a friend, or a relative to watch the kids. At that age, I was cowed enough that I wouldn't leave my kids alone in the car while I dashed into the beer store.
My mom went on vacation when i was 11 and my dad whom she was separated from, was supposed to take care of my older sister and me but instead took my older sister out in his boat with his new gf, she is my step mom now, and left me alone with chicken pox for a nearly a week. My mom called to check up, and when she found out what my dad had done she immediately came home. I was only 11, with chicken pox. If that happened today my dad would have been arrested. Then he cut me out of his will. Lol we all have story.

I'm not a mom but I don't leave my bird and my cat alone for more than 36 hours. If less than 36h, I ask my neighbor to check on them once in the evening to make sure they still have food and clean water. If more than 36h, I make arrangement for someone to stay with them. It baffles me that I have more consideration for the well-being of a cat and a bird than this mom has for her own kids.

If she has money to live in a luxury apartment building and go on a cruise then why not take the kids on the cruise too since they were already missing school or at least leave them with a family member or hire a babysitter? I hope that she never gets those kids back. She's probably left them home alone lots of times.
I'm not a mom but I don't leave my bird and my cat alone for more than 36 hours. If less than 36h, I ask my neighbor to check on them once in the evening to make sure they still have food and clean water. If more than 36h, I make arrangement for someone to stay with them. It baffles me that I have more consideration for the well-being of a cat and a bird than this mom has for her own kids.
Same with my 2 dogs and little sister. I don't leave them home alone unless someone watching them.

I was a latchkey kid. Single father was always out living his life, while I held it down at home. Never was left this long, but it’s so wrong to leave kids with no survival skills alone. At least potty train them and teach them how to survive. Disgusting.
