Not all who wander are lost. I like the way you travel, it's much the way Amy & I have approached our travels around South America. We love jumping on buses and striking out for some small town we'd never even heard of before that morning. So many travelers get fixated on getting from point A to point B, checking X, Y & Z off the list from the "must visit" guidebook along the way. The best experiences always sprout from being open to unplanned adventure and spontaneous detours.
To each his own, I guess... but I never did understand how or why people scheduled an extended trip. I know people that have done it - sticking to an itinerary come hell or high water. Just seems stressful to me. But I suppose for some, not knowing where you're going and how you're going to get there may be stressful... 🤔
What you saw growing as plantation are sugar cane fields. This region in Minas Gerais the sugar cane is important! Nice ride. Cheers from Brazil - Felipe

Well... we don't really have a point of reference since it's our first time here, but I can tell you it's damn hot! The drought, level of the rivers, and fires in the Amazon and Pantanal certainly do not paint a pretty picture... 😪

Isn’t it amazing when your trying to get somewhere with your dilemma in transferring or try to transfer money to your daughter, 9 times out of 10 it’s some nimrod from India, and no matter how pissed you get, these people just do not get mad, unbelievable. Looks like some incredible roads your on, and rain all the time it seems sucks, in a drought here in Bama land so send it here. Man there are really interesting areas you guys travel. Anywho you guys take care, keep oysters safe and hang In there, safe travels to you both. Rob
😅 Oh, I've had him get mad at me before... I had one woman come back on the line after 40+ minutes just to tell me they could not verify my identity and would be disconnecting the call. Before I could get a word in edgewise, she hung up on me. Citibank customer service is atrocious!! Anyway... yeah... fun roads, good times, Citibank sucks... 😆🍻👍
boy are those roads flat as piss on a plate ,followed by none stop rain and pot hole central ,you made it .Good thing you can speak the lingo.,how are your helmets holding up .would you recommend them.
I (Chad) love my Hornet X2, but It's getting a bit long in the tooth. Shoei Now has integrated intercom systems, so when it's time to upgrade, I'll probably go with something along those lines. Rose liked her helmet in terms of comfort, But it was noisy and had poor aerodynamics. She's back to her Shoei GT-Air, which is unfortunately a bit snug on her, but a much better helmet all around...
