Wow!. Making you ride the miniature crazy golf course of the checkpoint was ridiculous!!. I reckon you got an albatross though!!. Well done you two. Happy travels 😎
What a great episode. Between the Paraguay entrance exam, the Soon Sang phone, and that random guy towing the kids go kart or whatever it was who realized you were recording him lol, i was falling out of my chair on this one!
Great for tarmac and hard pack. They stick to the road, even in wet conditions, and are great for light to moderate off-road. They'll wear for upwards of 10k miles as well... 💪
What kind of half ass trek was that at the border, strange, and the black market, unreal, man you guys deal with a lot, and what in the hell was that dude pulling behind his back of his bike, lot of riff raff down there, to much crazy congestion, hang in there, enjoy your travels as always. Rob
Ha ha... some of the border crossings are certainly a bit strange. Sometimes it's difficult to know where to go. On more than one occasion we've had to backtrack and literally ask around for the immigration & cutom offices. More often than not it depends on which way you're crossing. As far as the riff-raff are concerned, we definitely count ourselves amongst their ranks, so we fit right in!! 😁 It's the local flavor that makes it all worth while... As far as the 3-wheeeled Hot Wheel tow-service, I'm not sure what the hell was going on there. But he certainly found it odd that we found it odd! 😂.
Great Scot indeed. Shame you didn't stumble across a DeLoreon in that market. BTW, and I may have mentioned this in passing before, your videos are much enhanced by watching them at 75% speed. Gives this viewer a lot more chance to see the backgrounds and scenery at the same time your voice is not wildly distorted
Glad someone got the Back to the Futute reference!! 💪 I's watching at a reduced speed an option RUclips provides, or do you have to download the video? 🤔
It's a You Tube setting. Lower left on the screen, looks like a little gear. I frequently have to adjust playback quality there as well. Slow wi-fi connection, I try for 720psi but often have to throttle back to 480. I also frequently put on spanish closed captions when watching RUclips to practice. Cruise on, I'm look forward to Northern Argentina @@TwoWheelsThreeSheets
Rose has to correct the auto closed captioning in order to make sure the translations are accurate. So hopefully that has been working... Yes, stay tuned - are foray back into the Andes is incredible!!! 😍 Thanks for always supporting the channel!
Good thing you kept your guard up and your wits about you in the market lest someone tried passing off aToyota wrapped in tin foil as a TeLoreon .@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets
Unfortunately, the Anakee Adventures are the ONLY tires we've been able to reliably find in our size in South America. They're certainly not ideal off-road, but at least they last forever.... 😒 The Pirelli was a bit better off-road, but only lasted around 6k km... 😑
New tire day is always a new day! Except for me trying to get used to the sound of a new tread pattern. I constantly pull over because I'm convinced something is wrong with my bike. "What is that sound??!?!?" 😂
You missed the best tire shop in the market. If you took the the second left from Sumseng Phone booth, you could have gotten your Tirelli NT09s for half the price.
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Too bad. I would've loved to see that fascinating landscape from your perspective. Your route choices are always interesting. Safe travels.
@omerbulur9461 I had a wonderful ride through Columbia on my way south and was really looking forward to showing it to Rose, but are impromptu decision to cross the Amazon changed those plans...
We ran out of brakes in Kyrgzstan and had them relined with what we were told was good material made in Iran. Hmm....................no!🤣 All part of the fun of overlanding. I now always carry at least one complete set of spares along with all the other usual stuff.
Yeah, we always carry a couple of sets of pads with us, but unfortunately, the Africa Twin notoriously eats rear pads. The refurbished pads only lasted a few days before they started chunking off... 😂
Hola, si vienen por la ruta 89 para ir a Salta, van a desviarse en la ciudad de Avia Terai, yo vivo en Las Breñas, Provincia del Chaco. Si necesitan algo o pasan por mi ciudad, no duden en contactarme. Saludos y buen viaje!!
We normally do. Brake pads, bearings, clutch plates, etc... Unfortunately, the Africa Twin has a tendency to really eat rear brake pads, and we had already exhausted our supply... 🤔
I think we ended up spending a total of five or six days in the country, which is the least amount of time we've spent in any country thus far. Generally speaking, Paraguay is not known for great riding. The country is generally very flat, and hot. I believe agriculture and ranching are their major industries. We really only crossed the southern portion of the country. And I have been told, but did not confirm myself, and that there are some beautiful and remote regions in the North. The capitol city is interesting, and certainly has some very cosmopolitan neighborhoods, but, as with most South American countries, it also has it's fill of extreme poverty. This was the only country we have traveled through to date that had an alarming number of small children, seemingly left to their own devices, roaming the streets. We had one heartbreaking encounter in particular, with a five or six year old girl begging on the streets alone at night. It's really difficult to know what to do in a situation like that, but unfortunately it was commonplace. As a destination, Paraguay isn't high on our list, but to fair, we were really just passing through and didn't really explore much beyond the major highways.

Thanks!! 🍻

Ha ha... not sure what that AAA tow-job was about. 😅 Thanks for watching and having a laugh! 🍻
You get some serious street cred with getting your bike through the "Moto Lane", I took one look at it and decided to act like a car ;-)
Bwaa ha ha! Had I realized what I was in for, I would have bypassed it myself! 😁
Another great vid, to put a smile on my face. 🤓
Why, thank you! Happy to put a smile on your face!! 😁
soom-sang, exactly like we brazilians would call any phone bought in Ciudad Del Este, very good! lol
😅 ha ha ha... turns out we were not alone!
😮😮thank you..
No, thank you! 🍻
South America certainly colourful.
Jeeezzz..that obstacle path out of Brazil..
Isle of Man stickers the world over!!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Ciudad del Este definitely had some flavor! 😁
We raced the mountain 2-up on a Harley Davidson Ultra (of all things) on Mad Sunday in 2018!! 💪
The mud road. Good save Chad! Rose's face said it all
It gets a bit snotty at times... 😁
I can hear trying to hold it together when you said, Chad's new Soonsang
Hey, don't laugh. They're an up and coming brand taking the black markets by storm!! 😂
Buen viaje !
Thank you! 🍻
Thoughts on those anakee adv for road and decent hard packed dirt roads ?
Great for tarmac and hard pack. They stick to the road, even in wet conditions, and are great for light to moderate off-road. They'll wear for upwards of 10k miles as well... 💪
are u using the mannual trans or auto on a lot of trips? thanks fr d advice
The manual transmission. I didn't want to end up with anything overly complicated in the wilds of South America...
Vídeo top
🍻
Never a doll moment. Damn that dam was huge. Has anybody seen the bridge?
Nice sangsung phone.
How was that obstacle course? Insane.
The damn dam was dam amazing, truth told!! We thought we found the confounded bridge, but it turns out it was a knock-off... 😁
.
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets One day Mr Pitiful will find the bridge.

Those Pirellis are basically 80% paved road tires, I’ve had them on Africa Twin
