Hi what if I have ones that were already pre scented
So I still go through wash process?

I don't think you would need to wash them. Just rescent them and you should be good.

This is great but I’m conflicted- I saw a video that says u don’t need to put them in a bag for that long , I can put them
Out and display them right away ...
Either way, I’ll be trying this ASAP 👍🏻
Your video was thorough and easy to follow 😁👍🏻

Always wondered how they got them to smell so nice. Will give them a try ☺

Here’s the problem sweetie. You removed the pine cones from the water soaking dripping wet. That water was transferred to the parchment paper. So there was steam. It took longer to dry because they were too wet going in. Next time, lay them on several layers of paper towel and blot to remove the excess water.

Nice reply, but do not say sweetie.. sounds demeaning even though you probably did not mean it that way.

You don't need to put them in an oven to open them, leave them in your room they will do it naturally

I would soak the new pine outside, because of spiders. Do not want in my kitchen, Probable could use a spray of lysol on them also.

I'd think the oven heat would act as a sterilizer
