***Update/Correction to Caster Measurement***: @3:53 you rotate the gauge to make the bubble level. Then press "zero" to zero out the gauge. Then at @4:01 you need to re-level the bubble before reading the caster. Special thanks goes to @lizardking8388 for bringing this detail to my attention in the comments.

This wheel alignment wheel clamp is a joke, clamping on to the tyre will never be true with the wheel.

You are correct that wheel clamps could have some error. I describe the calibration procedure @1:20 to resolve that concern. I have both rim and tire type clamps. I too thought the wheel clamp would be less repeatable but after comparing both types several times I am comfortable with both types of clamps.
