    Thanks for the kind comments. Thanks for the suggestion Jieiku1325. I reloaded the Budget Outlaws website to a free hosting service that will house the alignment spreadsheet as well as other info. The website name is CHANGED to budgetoutlaws.great-site DOT net the spreadsheet is on the downloads page. There is a direct link in the description. Yeah I didn't come up with the great-site thing, it was the only free option that made sense.

    Fantastically great video!! Thank you for taking the time to show us your knowledge. When I went to school for this, I was taught how to do an alignment without the machine before I was taught how to do it with a machine. That was a long time ago with no Internet. Lol. Thank you again for the great work that you are doing.

    Thank you for such an informative and helpful lesson. I've been struggling for days trying to realign my 06 Tundra after a front end rebuild. I've watched so many videos and read so much on forums, but you're video is by far the crème de la crème! Thank you!

      So here what I know with my 25 years in shops doing alignments.
      It's very very hard to find an alignment guy that really knows what's going on and does the entire job and does it correctly. I see it over and over that shops never do a second caster swap to verify their adjustments. Techs just skip rear adjustments. 99.5% of them have never loaded the driver with weight during the alignment. It can change things ALOT. Shops just make the light turn green. Side to side difference maybe in spec but at the edges and that can be over 1 deg difference. Doesn't sound like much but it is.

    Great tutorial. Thanks for the lesson. The one reason I watched was to confirm whether adding shims on the rear trailing arm added positive camber or added negative camber, which wasn't mentioned. I suspect removing shims adds negative camber, but I'm not sure. Also, knowing the effects on camber relative to the thickness of the shims added or removed was another piece of data I was seeking. Any thoughts?

    Watched this, then thought.... strings, how 2020, it's 2024 and I got a pair of lasers. Lined the laser levels up 6in from rear hubs, turned them so they same from front hub and it worked great. Used it to measure camber and caster too since it projects a nice vertical plane.

    Hi, I recommend that you give a degree to mm converter so as to avoid the inches fraction challenge.

    • @budgetoutlaws9978
      @budgetoutlaws9978  4 года назад +1

      Not a bad suggestion. For me I would have to convert back to fraction because that's how I see it in my head. But I'm sure someone can use that and maybe make it simpler for them.
