Kudos to the mother .. the dad is just trying to get out of what he owes. It’s all thanks to her that she’s accepted less cos she can’t be asked with his dead beat ass.. what father tries to short change his kid and say I’ll agree to paying less that what I actually owe
@@itaz6276 There is a difference when it comes to what the child needs and what he could owe. He isn't short changing anyone as they seem to agree that the child is getting everything they need, and if the child needs more then they'll be back. Stop thinking so negative, they both seem to care about their child
I think the mom doesn't wanna be malicious and the dad is probably a good dad which is why she doesn't wanna force him to pay more and rather remove child support and switch to split tuition.... the couple probably loves their kid alot is what this says...
💯 My daughter's father and I do 50/50 down the middle he pays for her while he has her I pay while I have her. We both need a place for her. Time isn't always 50/50 but when it can be it is. She was happy and that's all that mattered. It should be forced 50/50 unless there is a reason. Not the he said she said bull but actual proof for it not too be. Really .. the dad’s a piece of work. He’s paying less child maintenance than what is actually due .. the mother is the one that should be praised here that hasn’t bothered forcing his dead best ass to pay what is due .. he should be thanking her but he started off complaining wanting to pay even less then what they eventually agreed on (which again was less then what he actually owed for his son)
I think that is how it should be with all parents that are no longer together. Come together for the kid and agree on everything it's about the child well-being. Really enjoy watching your videos. And you can also tell that the parents have respect for each other.
Sincerely, my thumbs up for these parents. The mother especially, even when she realized she could get more than $550, she still played it calmly and got a honourable, responsible and mature way to reduce her expenses. Their love for their child and respect for each other is great. God bless you both and your child.❤
This my favorite case so far!! I love the maturity and civilry they have towards one another for the life of the child. No outbursts or cheap shots, just business. Good job!!👍🏽
I love how much they are for the child. Not only that unlike a lot of co-parents they seem to have a great open line of communication and respect for one another it’s amazing to see it made my day.
This warms my heart knowing that there are parents out there that do co-parent and do what is best for their child. I'd love to do this with my sons father but he just left us and disappeared. Kudos to all the parents out there that get along. Yall are the real MVP's.
This is how co-parenting works, they did it right, and they both think of their child, wish more people were like this instead of being dead beats, and petty.
I like that they are very into their child’s life and are very open communication wise with the costs… I also like that instead of getting angry at each other they went to a professional about questions on how to split
This case was the best amongst the all that I’ve seen of her. Man! This couple have the best interests for their child and knows exactly what they are doing and are amicable. 👏🏽
this had to have been the most pleasant episode ive seen so far. no fighting so outbursts so back and forths, just straight to the point, very civil and they both truly have their son as their main focus in all of this which is great
This couple is a rare one indeed. Not many parents can be civil in these matters. Major kudos for both of them. It seems that they only want whats best for their kid and not letting personal vendettas get in the way, if any exist.
That may have been the most amicable case I’ve seen thus far. She seemed like she wanted to let her greed come out a little bit at one point but she didn’t try to act upon it and I give them both credit for behaving the way separated parents should when they both just want their child to be taken care of.
I love the judge Vonda B,the way she handle every single case, she’s fair and fantastic.God bless those careless parents cuz judge Vonda B is killing it.
So impressed with this couple..so respectful 🙏 ..it seems their bringing up a good boy..keep smiling and being kind to each other.great job parents!!!❤🙏👍
@@JudgeVondaB I don't know the effect and the music just made me really get into the stakes of the people in the court. Also my boyfriend was kind of scared of it and we watch it together and his fear brought me amusement. Don't worry we don't have kids we won't be in there anytime soon with me amused by his fear.
My parent divorced when I was 2 and have been co parenting me and my sister. They never went to court for custody and child support but my dad paid about $700 a month since we lived with my mom most of the time. Since we are both over 18 now he does pay child support anymore but he does pay for my car insurance, health insurance, phone bills, and pretty much whenever I need money for something he provides it
Wow This one of the most peaceful agreeable cases ive seen on here There not together but they got along well and our friends they put the child first And there not at each others throats well really admire them 🎉🎉
I was thinking the same but I think they are friends still and maintaining that is more a priority than the money that they can both afford to raise from each end. I also think they might actually be a very good blended family so there are other benefits that drying the man's pocket would take that relationship out. Most times, people who demand support is coz the other part is totally often out of the picture not wanting to be a participant.
See these guys seem to hav no animosity against each other it's nice to see the first case I've seen on here in the week I've been binging it's a breath of fresh air
Once they went into what child support would be based on his income I was like oh no is this going to be the breaking point?? But they still were both respectful 👏
Split your differences in a positive way. It's plainly obvious that there is a degree of respect but no affection between the parents. However the well being of their child is paramount. Nice work your Honour
One thing I do not and will never agree on Child support calculations, Why do the calculations on the Gross amount? there are taxes involved and the child gets money from after the taxes are taken out.... I mean if W2 is 100k, and you calculate it off of that , the child support would be about 2300 a month from the Net income... when if it was calculated on the Net pay of about 75000, then the child support would be fair for the parent paying child support. Also, if the parent paying child support can't make ends meet after child support, then working overtime or taking another job hurts them, because that would be considered additional income that would increase the child support and thus going back to square 1.
How did these two divorce? They're both anti drama & nice. Plus they both take the child's education serious. This is definitely mature co-parenting. 👌🏼
One way to resolve this is a bit of math. ((550*9)+430*3)/12 = 520--effectively 9 month of tuition and then 3 month of old payment per year, averaged out through the year. Now, the fact that his income based amount would be higher makes this kind of moot, but if it was closer or even between the two values (550 and 430), something like this would work. She would have to front some money in the first 9 month, but at the peak it's only 270 total (at the end of the 9th month) so it's not too bad. Math is not a bad civilization.
This is the most civil couple I've ever seen in a child support case. Kudos to you two 👏.
They are out there, not everyone has an ax to grind.

Even better when the parents don't split in the first place.
That brought tears to my eyes, because that is how parenting should be even if divorced. This actually made my day.

Why didn't mom ask for the 9 months of tuition split over 12 months (550*9/12) + 430 for each month?

Which state is it? How are they able to survive on $60k? At least in California, I understand you need at least $150k to have a regular family life

I don't get why she only asks about the one parent's income, I thought support was based on the difference in income.
Everyone should be able to be good part time parents.
When I was a kid (A very long time ago!) I used to watch "Divorce Court" on tv. It was crazy, and a little sad
The background music is not good.
If they agreed to enroll their son into this private school.. why couldn't they agree to split the tuition costs themselves. ??
Because school is 9 months and he wanted to skip the other three months and pay nothing, not even support.
I'm glad the opening music has changed. The baby crying was so annoying because it came on extremely loud compared to the actual video.
