Depends on the processing time you selected. Most customers receive their products 8-14 days once we receive the impressions. But we have other options to make the time quicker.
Hi there! It's just a calculation and it helps with people who struggle to center their teeth. If you need assistance feel free to contact our customer service team for tips!
@@beckyquin8365 OK, so on my first try I let the impression stuff set up for too long and only got the first 2-3 mm of my teeth 😂 but it’s great cuz they’ll send one “ooops I F’ed up” kit for free! Second time was all good, sent the molds in, and I got the trays. Let me tell you they are fantastic! Seriously, the price is a fraction of what dentists charge and lower than other DIY companies too. The quality is spot on. Plus, they send free whitening gel. I know this is long and overly detailed sorry, I am just really very happy with this company!
@@beckyquin8365 OMG you are probably thinking like this chick has gotta be a paid reviewer or something the way I went on but I 100% promise that is not the case, I am seriously that impressed with this place!
@@Winters.C Haha, no I'm not thinking that. I've been a customer since 2018. Recently, my retainer cracked and no longer fits well. So I had to reorder everything again and do the whole impression thing again. Got sent two clays, and I really managed to mess it up twice. They said they'll send another, so I gotta get it right this time. But any tips? I'm not sure how I did it right the first time in 2018. Lol. 😅
If you mess up with the first mold, can you pull the messed up mold out of the tray and try with the second set of putty that came with the set? Also, when you send it back do you keep the mold in the tray? And you just put in in the box, nothing to cover it while in the box?
Hi there! You'll send the molds in the trays. Just put it all back in the box and put the shipping label on it and we'll take it from there! As for redoing molds, please remove the messed up mold and try again in the tray.
I’ve tried putty in the fridge 5, 10 and even 15 minutes. Every time I try to get the putty out, it’s incredibly sticky and doesn’t come out easily. I always just discard the putty bc so much just ends up still in the container and I’ve spent a good 30 seconds by then trying to get it all out of the container 😢
Hi there, we recommend at max keeping the putty in the fridge for 10 minutes. If you struggle to get all of the putty out try using something to scoop it out with. Maybe the end of a spoon could help you with scooping it out.
The 2 most common issues are not biting down deep enough and not biting evenly into the impression putty. You want to bite down deep so the putty goes up over the gum line. Deeper the better. Don’t worry about hitting the bottom of the tray. You also want to bite down evenly with your front and back teeth. The impression tray should be parallel to your teeth. (not pointing up or down) This will help to get all the teeth included in the impression and help to not hit the front of the tray. We recommend emailing us a photo to verify before sending back. Our email is Info@SportingSmiles.com
@@SportingSmiles you said don't worry about hitting the tray but when I sent my photo in, the response was "We've reviewed your impressions and have determined they are hitting the tray and too shallow to work with". Why did they bother to mention they are hitting the tray if it doesn't matter?
All 4 of my wisdom teeth were removed years ago. So can I snap off the tabs? Also, I have a permanent partial on my uppers. Could this product actually pull the partial out when removing the tray?
Hi there, per our instructions if you send in impression photos for approval before mailing the impressions in, you will receive free putty and trays to retry. You only have to purchase more putty and trays if you send in impressions without approval. Hope this helps!
Hi there, you can send in impression photos to us over the weekend. However since we are only open Monday - Friday 8-4, we will open and respond back to your email in the order that they came in over the weekend. You will most likely get a response between Monday/Tuesday.

How Long Does It Take To Get Back To Me After Sending Back The Impression Kit To You Guys?
Depends on the processing time you selected. Most customers receive their products 8-14 days once we receive the impressions. But we have other options to make the time quicker.
What are your suggestions for packing and sending back the molds? Can I place the trays with molds back in the ziplock bag that it came with?
You sure can! That's an excellent way of sending them back. Make sure to email pictures of the impressions first so our team can approve them. Thanks!
How do you first mark where the front teeth should go? Just pure calculation or is there some other method?

The instructions that came in the box say to roll the putty into a 5 inch cylinder, the video says 4 inch? Which should it be?
Hi there 4 inch cylinder is just fine. Sorry for the confusion!
Maybe fix the instructions
