- Hope you guys all enjoy me teaching you guys and girls how to setup one of my favorite whipping rigs to use in Hawaii. Also in this video I show you all some action I got using this rig. Great information! We will be going to Hawaii in May for the first time (big island). I really want to try to fish while I'm there. Being from Arizona we don't have a lot of variety of species of fish here. I LOVE fishing and I think this will help me out. Thanks for sharing and great job.

Bro small trick i learned on the beach. If braided line is wet and had to reline bubble. Place the line on the small hole and suck on the big hole. Which will create vaccum. Its works both wet or dry braided line. Sorry if this sound weird. But trust me works super easy

@@andrewcrocher5932 can use the same setup with a grub if there’s no flys will work the same if not better cause you can target a more wide variety of species. But Yessah action is always nice Lmk how it goes sorry so late on the response was super busy recently🙏🤙

I use this same setup in Az for catfish and trout my leader is about 16 inches and 20-30 lb test to keep it from tangling up -- does yours get tangled up ??

I agree with not fishing salt water with under 20 pounds. I use 20 30 40 and 50. Daiwa j braid 8x
Yah I get some feed back sometimes on why I run 40lb test braid with a bubble and fly they say it’s over kill but Ik first hand you get some big strikes with this rig and it would suck if you had light line💯🤙
I had to switch to the hammerbombs because those clear plastic ones were breaking on me consistently.
They do break a lot I just always lose my hammer bombs and they get expensive when you gotta keep buying um lmao🤣
@epichawaiianadventures2211 I had my hammerbomb too close to the rod tip when casting and it just snapped right off and flew into the ocean. Lol
I wasn't paying attention after casting out 100 times. Sucks losing expensive gear.
Anyway, it's on its way to Oahu from Kauai. 🤣

I have a light action rod 9ft and 20lb braided line on reel…if I were to catch a big one would my rod snap?
Howzit bradda nah should be fine I always just set the drag based on the rods specs so if you get one lighter rod just gotta run little less drag that’s it🤙 but should be cherry as long as you play um right Yessah🤙
