It is not a set animation, but a physics based one, it is always random and prone to clipping in some systems.

I remember I had a very specific glitch in Skyrim one time where there would be multiple occasions of Dragon Corpses just physics glitching inside Lumber Mills, looking like they got stuck in them.
It would happen at just about every other one I passed by, leaving me with even more questions lol

skateforlife7860 That’s understandable, the game really pull you in and I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying it! :) I’ll sometimes take a minute in game when I’m on a cliff or overlooking a sprawling area and just take in the atmosphere and sometimes the music will kick in with some cool Star Wars-like notes and it’s just really pretty to listen to.
Boss Werdos Occasionally it’ll take a minute, but usually its about 15-30 secs. No complaints about it here

I had an incredible time playing this game, I really do believe the developers love Star Wars and it shows through their development of this game. Because I enjoy respawns work, I wouldn’t mind supporting them for more dlc of this game.
Shows ea what people want to pay for as well, high quality content based dlc for a good game is something ill always support

Its kinda mid. Respawns take way too long, theres no checkpoints and any progress you made is gone. If they wanna go the souls games route they shouldnt make their respawn time be like 30+ seconds and the mobs be less buggy.
Also, its mostly fighting some alien animals, hardly any empire troops or interesting enemies. If the game wasnt on sale for $7 id be returning it

@@point-bl4nk What? There were a bunch of arenas that supported it and there was a use for it... the game was built around it. The time travel was kind of a gimmick I guess...not really cuz it gives lore and all to the story. The titan fights were completely badass.

Tip for anyone having trouble with the final boss, I found it helped to be pretty aggressive with your force abilities.
Yes, run aggressively. As fast as you can. Also praying probably helps too
Sometimes you have to make sure you use the move where you drop down with a force shock wave
get the ability that refills your force meter when you use a stim and spam heavy attacks when possible, preferably the dual saber one since the animation is quicker
I spammed the lightsaber throw and split lightsaber attack on dual bladed mode. The refill force on stim is a must, and hacking the drones with BD is helpful for distracting her.
I'm so glad this game turned out to be good, it makes me so happy to see that there is still hope in the world for Star Wars games.

i love how far these have come, great work Charlie and everyone.
I kinda felt that the reason Cal sprints the way he does is because he's trained to keep the lightsaber as far away from his body as possible. I imagine you wouldn't want that thing anywhere near your sides running with your elbows by your hips, and it makes a lot more sense when his lightsaber is out. I think they just didn't give him a unique sprint when his lightsaber is sheathed, which may look clunky, but also kinda makes sense he didn't learn two different ways of running depending on whether he has his lightsaber out or not

this game is what got me into the star wars universe. it presented such a vast collection of planets and civilisations to show just how unique star wars truly is. i love this game and will love it always.
What really stumped me during a few puzzles was that I forgot I had the force slow.
I really like the puzzles where you have to use force pull/push as well as the force slow together to pass an obstacle. Pleasantly surprised with how good the story and gameplay both were.
I just finished the game after not too high expectations and I havent had this much fun in single player since Spider-Man came out. The ending especially was goosebump inducing, but the entire game is riddled with moments that really get you in the theatrics you playing part in. Rarely are there games that you do not want to skip cutscenes!

Honestly the only problems I have with this game are the weird puzzles and the really confusing navigation, I dunno if anyone else has this problem or if I’m mentally handicapped but trying to make my way back to the mantis or anywhere in the map is just a fat brain aneurysm for me. The puzzles aren’t exactly complicated trigonometry type shit but sometimes it’s just really not clear what you’re supposed to do and the hints don’t help at all. That aside pretty much everything about the game is really good, glad Charlie gave it a good score on the meter.

To everyone who felt the ending wasnt that good and made the whole journey feel pointless: yeah i felt the same way about the ending at first as well, but then i thought about it some more. Cal's original plan was to train the new generation of jedi alongside Cere but that changed when he saw the vision of the inquisitors and purgetroopers attacking all of them and capturing some to become new inquisitors and cal himself becoming one. After he saw that, the mission simply just became about keeping the names of the force-sensitive children out of the hands of the empire. Plus it makes sense that cal's original mission to train the new jedi would never succeed because we know that doesnt ever happen in canon. So with all of that in consideration im pretty satisfied with the ending. Sure, he didnt do what he originally set out to do but he DID save the lives of many children, who can choose their own destiny when theyre older

That kashyyyk level was so much fun and I loved every second of it
One thing I’d like to add is the “final” final boss. As soon as you hear that breathing and those footsteps, you know you are FUCKED. Vader doesn’t even have a health bar and kinda just tosses you around like a toy. And that’s after all the progression you’ve done which really gives a sense of just how overwhelmingly powerful Vader is. Bonus points for the use of the song “Anakin’s Dark Deeds” during the fight as well.
I’m a huge Star Wars fan and I absolutely love this game!

I love this because it doesn't rely too heavily on deep Star Wars lore, so it can appeal to people who aren't diehard fans of Star Wars, but it also has a ton of extra lore that you can read if you are a big Star Wars fan.
Wow, I wasn't really expecting much from this but I'll definitely get this one then, I loved the old Jedi Knight and KOTOR games, I'm happy at the least the Knight gameplay is back kinda.
one thing that really made the game amazing was the force echoes which told stories of what happened during order 66 or previous events
I had pretty damn low expectations for this game, I saw pretty low Hype behind this and the fact EA was working on it had me pretty iffy about it. But god damn, I loved this game, this is a definite pickup for anytime who’s a fan of Star Wars, take it as an apology from EA after they gave you battlefront

Lol I know exactly the rabid boss you’re talking about. I encountered him right before bed and had to stay up an extra half hour to kill him. Even using the central pillar to keep distance his combos were so long, fast, and far reaching it was hard not to get nailed. And if they connected the knockdown was nearly always long enough for him to finish you right then and there. Each hit was massive chunks of life.

Do lightsabers sever storm trooper or other humanoids' limbs? I always found it weird that we don't see that a lot in some star wars games featuring lightsabers, that inconsistency is odd. I think the only one I can think of atm is jedi outcast? Hopefully I'm not remembering that wrong.
Yes, you are correct jedi outcast had a dismemberment feature, the reason this game doesn't is because they still wanted to keep the rating low. Same reason not a whole lot of gore is shown in the other star wars games or movies, most of it is owned by disney and they still want to keep all under the "family friendly" umbrella. I think its a stupid and unrealistic decision but it is what it is ig. There are some dismemberment mods out there for jedi fallen order although from the couple ive seen they arent exactly super realistic but i mean hey its something at least
This looks really good. It would be perfect it was written by bioware writers and set in KOTOR time period, and it had a good character customizations, and your character could be customised with story development
