Markarth is the best out of the city opinions
Vlindler hall
U guys weird!! Ratway kd perfct hifeout u guys suckkk!!
Lakeview manor
Servin manor is the best
Breezehome like a first gf. It lives from your heart forever
So true
Sad but true
True but sad
but sad true
Man's still in love with the 14 year old he dated 30 years ago and thinks that's normal???
Me sleeping in the bandit camp I just cleared out like a true murder hobo
I just did that in Pinewatch 😅
This is the way!
I don't remember the name but I clear the towers just outside of Whiterun with the bridge so I can pit stop there lol
I don’t do that when playing Skyrim for some reason, but in fallout 4 I sleep where I god damn please!! 😅😂
Broken Oar Grotto
Lakeview manor always has a giant attacking my cows
Seriously. Also came home to my steward being murdered by bandits
@@alexanderbean7737 I hate when my steward dies
Dude everything is attacking in Lakeview, theres a fukin necromancer altar in the backyard
Lmao too true, the amount of money I’ve spent replacing cows… 😂
Honey their be a fucking dragon in backyarc get my mallet
Lake view manor is the place you get when you want to fight a dragon, a giant, a group of bandits, or all three whenever you leave or fast travel there.
and it was my primary house in any play through. something sensible about blood dragons constantly attacking a house, that has more gold than the empire the stormcloaks and the aldmeri combined.
I didn't even know their was more than one plot of land you can build on other than Lakeview 😅
@@MrLoafOfficial there are two others. One in the northern swampland over by Solitude with a rather nice view of the Blue Palace and the stone arch. The other is straight north of Whiterun with a nice view of Dragonsreach, and the occasional elk.
Only the biggest smoke blowers buy lake view😤🥶
@@AustinPersinger or people who enjoy a good view and don’t mind dragons
You forget anise's cabin which actually can be bought for a single kill on anise
Or you can use a followers house. Faendal in riverside or Janeera., the mercenary at the first city. But it can sometimes have a stolen glitch. I think you can also use alvor's house if you side with the Imperials at helgen. Or The Miller's house if you go with Ralof. but I've never tried that. But I know you can totally ransack their house
4 kills lol thugs come after u if u do that
@@simonsayzfloyd those damn hired goons almost ripped my heart out the first time I played, one of them had a orcish sword and full armor while I was still getting by with iron daggers and stuff of that ilk, I never should had killed that hag so soon.
Funny thing is, on my very first playthrough, I went into her basement and when I got back out some necromancer or mage I forget was attacking and killed her. That same night some hired mercenaries tried taking me out. I kept thinking why are they after me 😭😭 it wasn't until I killed them that I saw Anise hired them.
@@zzzcocopepe Follower's homes aren't safe so any items you store will be wiped after 1 ingame week.
The archmages quarters in the college of winterhold: i don't exist
Companions leader room? It would been nice if it was on the first floor and not way back in the basement
Arch mage's quarters don't have safe storage.
@@eleanorcooke7136 There is safe storage in Arcmage quarters
it takes mad long to get there tho. inconvenient
@@talal3c doesn't take that long
Honeyside is heavily underrated. Beautiful view of golden glow estate and the lake.
It kinds bothers me that it's right next to a brothel
Lake view has a better view
Me when autumn leaf: 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Also a great home for a member of the thieves guild.
right next to the temple of mara, nice Lakeview, includes a comfy basement, the rift is beatiful
My only problem with lakeview is the amount of dragons that decide to drop by for a shouting match
Badum-tss!
How dare you disrespect honeyside like this
u know a house is bad when one of its “features” of it is a door leading you OUT of the city its in🤣.
Honeyside placement is good you can come in from outside and inside the city but it just looks depressing
You can't have children and an enchanting table at the same time there lmao , and there isn't a nearby smelter either
@@jordanweyrauchthat makes it good though.
If I could enter and exit riften without loading it would be one of the best.
Bro completely left Tundra Homestead out the equation. That shit is Flawless in functionality, form and beauty. Even comes with permanent storage outside for you to hoard materials as you're saving up a measly 7.5k to own it.
Myrwatch too, I love that tower
Don't know if anyone has even played it, but there was a mod on console that had a house called Leaf Rest in Riverwood. It was one of my favorites. There was a lot to customize and it was such a natural, cozy house. You could change rug styles, light fixtures, etc, and it was just a great house mod overall.
Archmage rooms ✅✅✅
So many loading screens to get there
@@RUNtvHD 2 loading screens? its the same for breezehouse
@pyrothermite8457Don’t even need that. Get far enough in the main quest and you can just walk in by saying your are the dragon born then, use the dwarven ward shield instead of using and actual ward and boom. Archmage with no spells
@@orzel795breezehome is only one bcs you can fast travel inside the city
@pyrothermite8457 So You`re like Zenitsu, just one but perfected :D
Esbern looking at the Ratway: This! This I love, I absolutely love
I love the raven rock house because i love the dunmer style houses and culture
Me too
That house is underrated
valid
Filthy Dunmer sympathiser spotted
After completing all quest lines. I retire my Dragonborns in Raven Rock with either Jenassa, Brelyna Maryon, or Aranea Ienith. I love the Dunmer honeys.
That Bloodchill Manor is so fucking cozy it’s insane🧛🏻♂️🩸
The XP buff on the staff enchanter there is god-tier as well
That's fking crazy I moved in there just recently in my playthrough. It's size, decor, rooms, space, crafting stations is just fantastic. Also there is a smelter inside the home with a grindstone, tanning rack, and anvil which no other home has inside
Never even bought a house. I went totally mad and stored all my shit in Labyrinthia
I stored all my crap in Delphine's basement
@@Metzli😂😂😂same
I just use breeze home it was cheap and i pick pocketed the jarl
The graybeard’s offering chest doesn’t reset so I used to store everything I had in there.
I just use a modded player home-ship called Sea Dragon.
bloodchill manor feels like it was made FOR the dragonborn (or someone who does literally everything the world has to offer which, happens to be the dragonborn in the game universe)
I own 2 houses but I always put all my loot in Breezehome.
Yes that just feels right
@@stingfiretubeThere are a hundred breeze houses but there is only one breezehome.( ^ w ^ )
Yep that's cause all of us got breezehome first and started storing all our loot there. After that it just became too hectic to transfer all the stuff to other more classier homes like the Solitude one.
dwelling in the tundra
@@martiananomaly Tbf breezehome also has a lot of storage that makes sense, Proudspire manor is big but the storage places are all strange
The house in Raven Rock was fantastic. Fully furnished with every crafting bench plus lots of display mannequins and weapon displays.
Goldenhill Plantations: 💸🤑🤑💸
EVERY playthrough I do I fully upgraded it and hire a steward for passive income before I even activate the dragons.
@@silentj624SAME
That place has made me so much money, I barely have a use for gold now. But I'm constantly on the defensive since dragon attacks are so common. Thankfully I haven't lost any workers or livestock.
@@IorekB92And easy source of dragon materials
If you actually want insane money, get that one manor with the fish and garden. You can effortlessly make waterbreathing potions. On top of powerscaling your alchemy, it cleans out vendors and you still have more left over. I got to 250k easily. I don't even pick up items anymore.
I actually really like Heljarchen Hall, because on sunny days, it has a nice view of the Throat of the World.
Felt like my longest running character would appreciate that, after all he's been through.
Best views. Low on random attacks. Great proximity to whiterun. And with a few mod upgrades… chefs kiss
Abandoned House (Markat) ☠️☠️☠️
Perfect for a Molag Balls follower playthrough
Markat
@@nguyenquyetthang1326 nah, Castle Volkihar is perfect for that, it even has a bigger altar with blood and shit lol
I like the abandoned house, but I wish there was a way to remove the chairs that are stacked on the table on top of the food, I also wish there was a way through the alter, to customize the abandoned house
Markarth? Or the one in Morthal?
Dark Brotherhood sanctuary in Downstar with torture chamber 🥳
breezehome will always be my favorite house just because of how convenient it is. plenty of space for extra gear/emergency supplies, and plenty of plaques to put your collectible shit on full display. I also don't mind it being right in the middle of the map with 3 different shops right next to it. You can't beat a price of 5,000 gold septoms
Number 1 rule of real estate: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
Bloodchill manor is free and it has royal vampire armor that shows up for free and is good for a mage build.
I love Honeyside, right next to a pawn and alchemy shop to sell loot stored in the box nice cozy little house near a fishing spot.
Honeyside/Breezehome are always my "starter homes" in every playthough depending if I'm morally good or bad. My main Thief never moved out off Honeyside since that city is basiclly hers.
Yessss my very first official playthrough I absolutely loved Honeyside, so small and cozy in my opinion
Even your kids will express their fondness of Lakeview. I know they can get a pet in any location but there was a white fox always around the house and a few days later Sophie asked me to keep it 😅
Meanwhile your wife goes at you like "get the kids out of here you dangerous madlad"
Bro Lakeview Manor will always be my fav.... Building your own house from scratch is just 😢❤
Heljarchen hall is quite quiet almost never attacked and with a beautiful view and quite close to White Run as it is next to its border
That’s exactly why I like it. Lake view manor gets attacked constantly
@@jyounginmk777 Man of culture I see
I choose this on none RP play throughs cuz its closest to the center of the map and doesnt spend too much time fast traveling to and from
I have a couple mods downloaded that's specifically for Heljarchen Hall. One of them is a Hot Tub/pool that stabilizes to the right of the manor and the other puts up at 360° castle wall that surrounds the entire manor that comes with its own greenhouse. Also have a mod that stops the attacks
@@christar331and there mods for have a faction elite guards for protzct the house, and you can use the multiple follower mod for set them in the house, for best guards possibles.
The warrens- you are now homeless
The ratways- super homeless
I hella love bloodchill manor even tho I’m a dawn guard lol. Such a nice place in a cave with water flow sounds. And all this stuff for free!
If only there was a bat-cave mod. . . Wait I found one
Is it a mod? I’ve never seen that house bloodchill manor
@@demonchild1245Anniversary Edition.
@@demonchild1245I don’t think it’s an official playing house
@@tarponpethow do you get the invite to bloodchill manor?
Bro the manor in solstheim was dope.
Tundra Homestead is the best home for survival players, it got everything you need, and it's in the center of Skyrim and near Whiterun.
You mean heljarchen hall.
@@RedFloyd469 Nah I think theyre talking about the house added with cc outside of white run. it costs 7500 I think, and it's pretty good early game house
Oh you mean the house that ate my child and glitched out my save file? That tundra homestead? Yeah no thank you I'll stick with Shadowfoot Sanctum.
@@Lady.Friday Damn, that sucks.
@@黃宇成-g6r what's worse is it's my most advanced save file so I just deal with it lol I have no idea where Sophie is cannot hire Stewards for my hearthfire houses and I haven't tried to get married yet but I imagine it would glitch out as well. And now that I think about it I can't find my pet fox either 🤔
Building and filling lakeview manor is what first motivated me to buy my home.
Hendraheim is really good until you realise you can’t get your weapons back off the racks and lose them forever
I've never faced it)
WHAT I JUST COLLECT A LOT OF UNIQUE WEAPONS WHAT THE FUCK BETHESDA
3rd person will allow you to remove it. But you must position yourself properly
@@sensacionsombria5125take it down in 3rd person
for me the only bugs i found in hendraheim was after exiting the entire mountain the home was sitting on was gone but that was just a one time thing. the persistent bug i have is that armor stands dup gear if i take it all off and leave it empty and come back later.
Okay finding this and I want to play Skyrim again now from the beginning to the end
How can you not like severon manor? What a grand and intoxicating innocence
The only negative I can think of you can't move your family over.
@@james739123that ain’t a real problem though because you can marry the one Skaal woman.
@@weskintime4177 you can marry 2 others, but you can't bring your children or have a new bodyguard/housecarl, yes it's probably not the best place to bring kids but leaving them in Skyrim seems irresponsible.
JOOB
I don't remember if you can fast travel to Raven Rock from Skyrim, but if not, you can't fast travel to your home with a fortify carry weight potion like you can with most of these locations. Plus, in order to get it, you have to be pretty far in the DragonBall DLC, which is very late game.
Windstad Manor with a kitchen, greenhouse, and storage room is the best house in the game by far
And the fish hatchery is great for alchemy.
The view there is unparalleled
Honeyside is home to the best weapons in the game: fork/knife
You are a godsend. I’ve only just got back into playing Skyrim and couldn’t for the life of me remember where the usable knife and fork were. You have reminded me, I will be eternally grateful
5 minutes of enchanting later: *Has a fork that kill Legendary Dragons in a single hit*
@@Son_of_Wotan There's a wieldable knife at the East Empire Docks office. Check the upper room
Not me sitting here storing my junk in bleak falls barrow on the floor 👀
I cleared out embershard mine and made it my lair.
Myrwatch is always solid
You should add the midden, found a bedroll down there not far from the Antronach forge in survival mode, and I farmed my conjuration to 100 down there 🤣 it was a good home after you clear it
Goldenhills is the true GOAT.
Ah a fellow golden hills supremacist I salute you. 🫡
That ability to plant mushrooms and turn it into a money printer is goated af. Pass 100k like 2 hours into the playthrough and never have financial worries ever
In the anniversary edition there is shadowfoot sanctum in the ratway, which is a fantastic home. Fully furnished to begin with plus a hidden armory, alchemist table, enchanting table, forge, grind wheel, smithing table, kitchen, and so much more, plus a secret water entrance/exit.
Severin manor is so underrated. More pre built mannequins than any other house
Finally someone putting respect on Severin manor
Have fun sucking those ash yams s'wit
Real shit. Used to be my main house
Thank you. New player here and didn't even realize I could own a house!
Felt like a king when they gave me that place.
I live in Hendraheim and I must say it's quite welcoming
Myrwatch is the best by far for crafting-oriented characters. It has every crafting station, minus a wood chopping block and Spider Scroll Imbuing Chamber.
Plus, it has some awesome displays for uniques.
I’m using a Conjuring character rn and Myrwatch is perfect I just wish it didn’t have that weird eerie sound in the background
Myrwatch or death
half of my mannequins glitch out tho and duplicate the armors
@@jr-wn9yf
Yeah, gotta be careful with the mannequins in there, though knowing that ahead of time could be a slick way to replicate rare or one-of-a-kind gear.
Everytime you walk in the "decoration" items glitch out and you end up will troll skulls, staves and books flying around
When I was like 7 or 8 years old I started up a game called Skyrim. My father told me it was a scary game some nights before. The moment i started the game I was outside windstad manor and draugr spawned I have never been that scared in my life. It was night and my dad was still working. For about a good year I watched my dad play and then I started playing. Till this day my favorite game ever.
Real ones keep their stuff at the labyrinthian safe room😎
Truly the best place to Store all your riches
Wait if you drop things in their they stay there?
@@MP-in3yn I know in the chests they do. Don't put stuff in the urns though it will disappear on you
Hjerim literally has a secret room and a huge armoury. Doesn’t get any better than this.
this was my personal favorite house too! Glad to see I wasn’t the only one. whole aesthetic of the place is fire
that’s one of my favorites too, but i hate the stormcloaks so it kind of ruins it for me
Honeyside is where you can aquire a weaponized fork, one of the only places in the game where you can do this and make the best build in Skyrim.
I never cleaned up Hjerim's "murderous mess" but I had my family living there for a while
Only sh!tty thing about Lakeview manor was the giants constantly coming up to my house and killing my steward.
Get a stronger steward. My steward kills the giants for me. Lol
@@MarkelleRayneeSheree I'll keep that in mind for my next playthrough. I'm more worried about my spouse, tbh.
@@lllazerfoxgaming6897 if your spouse is a follower then gear her up
@@lax-8543 And if he's not?
Myrwatch and Gallow Hall chillin on the sidelines
Honeyside is my favorite, I love the style, so cozy! I'm always a member of the Thieves Guild, they wouldn't steal from me so everyone there is safe, also, Riften has a lot of merchants, just don't rat on Brandshei and the network is bigger
In fact, Hendraheim and Bloodchill Manor are the dopest, but Breezehome still holds my most lovely memories... I love you, Lydia!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Hendraheim would easily be the best house if it wasnt for the miniature closet pretending to be a bedroom.
its like they blew all their effort designing the huge elaborate hall just go "oh shit people need to live here" and crammed you and your kids into the tightest corner they could find and called it that.
I’m a werewolf so I don’t sleep anyway and the kids don’t complain… what pisses me off is that my 10 pets insist on chilling right behind the front door 🤦🏻♀️
Winstad Manor has always been my go to because it’s the house you can build that least likely to get attacked
Lakeview Manor is my homestead, bedrooms, kitchen, and storage area. That's where I leave the fam while I go galavanting about
Hendraheim has everything, and you don’t even need to pay for it. Sometimes dragons spawn right at your front door though, but it’s worth it.
Hey survival that riften sleeping mat is a life saver
Lakeview manor was love at first sight when i finished her building
Im still living at Hadvards uncles house in riverwood
Heljarchen is awesome, great scenery and it’s really centrally located
The Ratway house is beautiful inside but the area is like more a tunnel shit but still worth it to buy though
Breezehome Hjerim and the Markarth one will always be my favorites
Ya know, I like living in the cave underneath the Ritual Stone. It’s nice 😂
Mh favorite moment of this show is in episode 9 it makes it very clear that Aegon is bad cause he forced himself on a servant, in that same episode it shows Rhaenys mass murder thousands of people and we're supposed to clap like seals and say "Yaaaas Queen kill those plebs."
Blackreach isnt a player home without mods but when you do get the right one, its pretty much the best one an alchemist could ask for. Plentiful ingredients for no work at all, including crimson nirnroot which can only be found there and is very expensive.
You can use Sinderion's lab as a player home since there's a bed, most of the crafting stations, and the containers are flagged as safe.
Isn't it a bit arduous to get there and back? And what about selling things?
I got bloodchill first in my first playthrough and it has been my home in Skyrim ever since.
I like myrwatch it has a staff enchanter
Heljarchen is my favorite. Optimal location, good climate, solid surrounding area
Breezehome was the GOAT for sure. First home we all owned. Affordable and not run down.
The ratway 😂😂😂😂
Breeze home and lake view are the classics
Bloodchill would be dope if it wasn't mad glitchy
When I read "Can I make my home in the rat ways" I physically gagged and left to my tundra home
Shadowfoot sanctum and myrwatch are pretty cool … you know I still can’t find the Dwemer house that came with anniversary though 🤷♂️
There’s a really good guide how to unlock it, by gamerant. The house is linked with a quest, “The Sanctuary and the Manufactory”, you can start it in the Inn in Winterhold. First room to the left, there’s a journal on the small table.
Anise's Cabin, Delphine Basement and Helgen Keep are the places I call home.
Mannnn Lakeview Manor was always my favorite but i had to move cuz i was tired of my wife n kids getting attacked all the time by Giants and bandits n shit. I finally had enough when my bard and housecarl got killed in a break in smfh
Break ins are a thing???
Unfortunately yes 😅 even the house hjerim in windhelm can get break-ins@@zacknemeth9944
Proud spire was always my favorite because of the crafting layout.
i like the archmage quarter
bro gave me an idea
Takes one extra loading screen to get into and offers no privacy for jerking off since there's no doors. 0/10
Breezehome with a mod that adds a lot more to the interior is what I always use.
Severin Manor has all crafting needs easily available for free
Yeah, but i don't like it
@@xXx_Jacket_xXxwhy
Hey don't be mean to Honeyside that super compact garden upgrade with the chickens is adorable.
I bought my girl a mansion in Windhelm and she still complains 🙄
windhelm is a shithole man id complain too
The treasure room in severin house was always goated for a collector like me
Living in Blackreach is crazy
Bro is a falmer
Breezehome is cozy af and it is in Whiterun, my home, the first place that took me in and gave me a life!
I would do Breezehome except every other time you fast travel, vampires attack, merchants want to help fight them off and get killed. Worst gameplay decision ever by Bethesda.
Proudspire manor is the aweful lol. A three story house with no lighting but maybe 3 candles a story. It is like living in a cave.
Worst thing on the list
Myrwatch is the best 👌 space to live and a separate space to do all your crafting
Missed opportunity with the sirens over the soul cairn
Riften has a bad home but the sewers home under it is lit!
Blackreach is a house now
Lakeview just hits different. Only house I was ever serious about in this game
Severin Manor is only playable home for morrowind lovers.
Hendraheim always has some wild bugs but I love it
I really enjoy Hjerim
Warrens is god tier 👌
Severin Manor is goated with that indoor forge
Bloodchill manor is the G.O.A.T.
PITA to get to if you're playing survival but agreed
@@alexanderbean7737 yea I did it in survival and I sucks especially with carry weight being cut in half 😢
