This is a very cute top, my daughter wants me to make it for her but you do go a little fast, I wish you would have given the chain count instead of saying that you chained 15 inches, etc., I will keep trying until I get it right.
This is an older video. We do both now, the reason for offering measurements instead of chain counts was so pieces would be more tailored for each individual. I'm only a shout away, so feel free to reach out. 😊❤
Is there a written pattern for this top? It's really pretty but I've never made clothes before and I'm totally clueless as to where you are taking the measurements for each section from. Also you said to let you know if we're interested in a peasant top in this design so my answer is a resounding YES PLEASE!!!

why do you chain 3 instead of 2 when preparing for the next row of double crochets :< im a beginner and my work isnt turning out the way i want it and all the video tutorials ive watched about double crochet is you prepare 2 chains and not 3 :((( pls help huhu
It's a preference thing. That's how I learned, but if you learned chain 2 you're not wrong either. 😊

Do you do any crochet with size zero or one yarn? I'm looking to make a wedding dress for my soon to be daughter in law. Thanks.
Unfortunately we haven't made any tutorials with yarns that small. We upload 2 times a weeks so that would take a little bit more time than we have, BUT a lot of our patterns can be made using any sized yarn since we do a "measure along" technique. As long as you keep up with the measurements you should be good to go!

Beautiful top. Sorry but I'm a little confused..just after you increase for the second time and you say go back down,increase three , back up and increase again then continue this....does this repeat work just include two rows or fo we go back down the side (2 double crochets)???

Thanks so much for your reply...yeah ..it's actually the very begining increases..increase three.( double crochets)..go down to end, chain 3 and up to increase 3 again...this is where my head melts! Do we just go up and down the same line, or turn the corner and go down the side as well?

Yeah, so starting the first curve row you're working along the top of the double crochets, like the previous rows, into the last stitch put 3 increases into the last stitch. At this point your work should be curving and you'll put 2 Double crochet's into the side of the double crochet's working down the rectangle. When you reach the end of that Chain 3, flip our work. Then put 1 double crochet into every stitch till you reach the middle stitch from the increase you did in the previous row and increase into there again to creat a point and repeat that row. Hope this helpsss! If not let me know. 🤗🤗

Secondly, a question! In the first part where you're doing the double crochets to form the cup, do you go into the front loop or back loop or through the entire stitch from the second row onwards?

How lovely! What I usually recommend for these types of cups is to measure it out on the bust. The base chain would be from side boob to mid boob and do the rows of double crochet until the height hits mid boob. 😬 I hope that helps! Measurements for bra size 32D and in general size S/M?
If I had to guess it would be closer to a medium, but the best advice I can give would be to measure on your chest to make sure you get the perfect fit. 😊

@@sofiaguanio2943 Yes! But for the cup size make your base chain from your side boob to you nipple. Then do the rows of DC until the height it of goes from the bottom of your boob to your nipple and that's when you start the curved rows. Basically you want the curved rows to start mid boob and then you keep going with the pattern from there. 😁 Hope that helps, love! Any other questions let me know. 🥰
