I agree that the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 have the best microphones on the market. Although I am a fan of Samsung devices and have the Buds 2 Pro (they have terrible microphones), unfortunately the Buds 3 Pro did not sit stably in my ears. For calls I bought Airpods 4 because I had Airpods 2 before and they worked perfectly for about four years. I also ordered the black Nothing Ear 2024 for about $110 because they seem like a common sense choice and I hope they play as well as they look. Your reviews are great, keep it up 😁
I think I'm probably the only person out there that didnt care for the B&W PI8 at all. I just felt the sound quality, transparency, call quality, and design all greatly paled to the PI7 S2. At first I thought I must've had a bad pair but after switching them out for a new set I still felt the same way. To me they just dont stack up to most other buds in the $250-400 range
Great video as usual Aaron, but I must correct you on one item you mentioned in that the Bowers & Wilkins Pi8's are not a dual driver setup as their predecessors were, but rather a single 12mm carbon cone now.

I wish there were but there isn't one, sadly, and that's because of one very subjective element - sound. Even on loudnwireless.com/recommendations I provide a range for people to choose and research on based on their needs. I will say that Jabra Elite 10 was the closest it ever got. The AirPods Pro 2 is more about having a good balance+convenience+size but Android users will disagree that it's the best.

For me the sound of the Sony is the one I liked the most out of all the headphones I have ever bought I have tried. I had the Beoplay EX for about 14 days and I thought it was the best sound but I returned them to factory default and was able to buy the Sony ones. I haven't even equalized them, the base sound it's too good and balanced.

Less than two years and they've become completely unusable because of battery issues due to a firmware update. £200 on a pair of earphones and absolutely no solution or care from Sony. Hence why I'm here, looking for an alternative Wouldn't ever buy Sony again. Just Google Sony "WF-1000XM4 Severe Battery Drain" for a Reddit post to see just how bad the situation is.

Have you ever had your ear professional clean? I went to ear doctor to have the earwax removed, and after that I can Hear everything much louder and clearer.
My daily drivers are Elite 10, overall best in comfort, ANC, sound quality is decent and can be God level with Wavelet app, controls are tactile and app is also decent.

i have tried the bose QC, denon pearl pro, xm5, xm4 , bose QC open ear, momentum 4, and the B&W pi8… but i always go back to my air pods pro 2. They integrate into my eco system so well and they aren’t bad at anything unlike many others. They also seem to have the least amount of “glitches” that i had with a few others many times.

I have the Pi8's and I agree, they're easily the best-sounding earbuds. Sound quality trumps all other categories as far as I'm concerned, as they're quite mid tier in other respects, yet I'm very happy with my purchase.
Well that’s the thing: I have tested more than 25 sets of earbuds, but I always come back to the AirPods Pro 2, inspite of being not the champs at anything, they do everything very well and are so reliable, comfortable and convenient in the apple ecosystem.
If you're not listening on PI8s (or other), does a PI8 sound sample really have meaning? Like, if I'm listening to the samples on Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4s, how can I try to take better advantage of the sound samples to understand how different the PI8s sound?
Tbh how it is done in this video it doesn't help. But there is a Playlist of different iems on the same song on the channel. If you compare them to each other you can make out how they are different from each other and in which direction they lean compared to each other.
@@willentrekin yeah. They will not sound like when wearing them. But if you own one pair you can listen to that one and get an idea how the others might sound when wearing them. It's not perfect but better than nothing.

Digging the new specs & jacket! One aspect of my Jabra Elite 10s and 75ts is that you can quickly put them in pairing mode without the app or case. I find this particularly useful I want to quickly pair them to a new device (like an Apple TV box) to listen to content more discretely. I just wish that I could love how the Elite 10s feel in my ear because, I agree, the sound is great. If I'm running out the door, I still grab for my Linkbuds S out of habit -- battery life is not the greatest, but they charge up pretty quickly and have an excellent fit for me. I'm really on the fence about the new Bose (great price and features but a little big overall); maybe a Black Friday sale will change my mind 😄
