    tell them about the 1700 valve adjustment? lol, That is usually enough to scare away most dreamers. Ducati stretched the valve adjustments because they went from timing belts, to chains. Those belts had to be changed at ever 7500 miles. Just did my blog on this the other day do I think a Ducatis make good daily drivers. My answer was yes and no. Check it out let me know what you think. That Desmo service is know joke there is 16 shims in those heads, that can be very time consuming to do. Especially if you actually have to do any shims. Probably planted because the 1299 Panigale has wheelie control, traction control and all sorts of other electronic rider aides.

    You can thank Volkswagen's ultimate ownership of Ducati, that led to those longer, less expensive service intervals.

      @@messer7bc I don't get this street lights BS back in the days people used torches and were just fine....
      That's how silly you sound.
      Quickshifter is much faster and smoother to use.
      Let's not mention it removes the rooms for human error which can have negative impact for lifespan of the transmission.
      As i said you can live without the quickshifter but just like any modern gadget it makes your life heck more convenient.
      Also it must have if you do any serious drag racing or lap times if you don't want to be in disadvantage.

    • @messer7bc
      @messer7bc 4 года назад +1

      @@Fearless154 well, I'd say - go and practice manual clutchless shifting more ;) Quickshifters are not smoother by any means, maybe a touch faster. In drag racing or lapt times - sure, just as I mentioned in my prev comment. But on streets, even canyon spirited riding - it's simply BS. Street lights are actually usefull on the street. But hey, they are BS on the track most of the time ;) Cheers

    • @Fearless154
      @Fearless154 4 года назад +1

      @@messer7bc It is very smooth. You highly mistaking with first generation quictershiter which care clunky but now days they're smooth as butter.
      And not it's not BS on the street, It makes the ride much more enjoyable.
      Quictshifter is that one thing you don't care of until you get a bike with one and just like that you can't go back on normal bike after.
      Long story short quickshifters are amazing like it or not.

      There is the brake fluid in.. kinda...
      When the brake pads are new or in good condition the fluid reservoir is on max, when the brake pads are in bad condition or worn out the brake fluid raises to minimum... thats how you can control the condition of your brake pads on a motorcycle.

      No, driving is when you operate and control the direction and speed of a vehicle. If you are riding it you are driving while on top of it.

      The 119 mph in seconds on the highway was apparently no big deal (didn't hold it for long). The ones where a picture of the bike obscured the speedo were apparently that much beyond the 119 mph already shown. How much more do you want, exactly? :) the machine will probably Ghostrider for you, but the guy would be ill advised to do that on camera.
