- Here is another beginner acrylic painting tutorial for you! I firmly believe that just because a painting tutorial is simple and easy and geared towards beginners, doesn't mean the painting has to be boring or lack depth! So here is a really cute fun and simple painting tutorial on how to paint a pretty misty pink landscape! It's a super cute painting to put up in your room or gift to a friend!
If you have any questions on how to paint, please leave them in the comments below! Or if you have any suggestions on my next tutorial! I'm hoping to do some more intermediate tutorials in the future, or follow along videos of some of my more complicated pieces. I also want to make a few videos in the absolute very basics of acrylic painting and oil painting and painting supplies and all that. I just want to have a whole library of painting vids for beginners.

Dang, After all paint tutorial channels on RUclips, yours is the best. I mean, most other channels just show them painting without telling you how to mix a certain color, how to paint that area, and they get boring because all they have is like, faint raindrop music. But your channel, ohohohoohhooh, the compliments you give to the trees, your voice, it’s the perfect paint channel for me, it’s easy to follow and calming. Sorry to have ya read through all this but your channel made me instantly go for the subscribe and bell. 10/10 keep it up! :D

I just found this channel & am in love! The first channel I found that was like no other is Debbie Avoux she’s an art teacher so she is really good at exposing step by step I have made some pretty amazing masterpieces & surprised myself! If your a beginner artist check out her channel💗 so happy I found this one too!

Wowww, I followed your tutorial yesterday and couldn't believe my own painting skills. Seriously I did not think I could be able to complete it but the results were amazing. I can't stop looking at my trees now. The whole process felt so good, felt like I accomplished something at the end. This was my first ever painting on a real canvas and I'm going to frame it for sure. Thank you Emily. Your tutorials are so helpful and easy to follow. Keep up the good work.

I had so much fun painting this. Definitely the hardest parts were the trees and blending. For some reason when I tried blending, the more strokes I had the more often the brush would take the paint already on the paper. Great tutorial, I love your personality! You’re so funny and such an amazing painter.

I find watching your hand movements helpful and try to mimic them, although I don't have that eye-hand thing down yet. Plus I love your choice of things to paint as well. Your stuff uses believable colors, and you're funny and I don't feel so uptight!

I'm almost brave enough to jump in an start trying to follow your painting. I have done that step by step painting like with the wine and paint thing, but I want to venture out and start trying other things. There is a painting my mom did after she saw it at her sister's house. It's an abstract of two weeping willows. My family, well many in my family would love to tutorial on doing this painting as a family across the miles. email me if you are interested in helping us try this. Fahmeeda Yasmin thank you so much! I love paintings that are simple but really have some magic in them. To get those pink colors I use titanium white and both quinacridone red and quinacridone magenta. I love pith those colors for pinks. If you don’t have either of those, I would suggest picking up a quinacridone magenta to start making some really pretty pinks in your paintings.
Such a calming and pretty painting! Do you pre gesso your canvases first? I watched loads of other videos saying you needed to do that and as a beginner I'm getting totally overwhelmed with all the 'rules' and "You must do this first and do that" etc. I did buy some gesso but thought I'd ask you as you don't put anything on the canvas first.
I came to the comments looking for this too! I think she does because I see gesso in the background lol I just noticed it. I’m going to start doing it to my canvases just to see. But you’re right, I’m a beginner too, and there are so many rules >.
