    Yes, this is unbelievable...Just wish I had the money to buy the whole lot, and the ability to get them all running again...Imagine driving down the street in a new 63 Impala with only 11 original miles on it...The stuff dreams are made of for sure...

    Where the heck did they store these?? There is an amazing amount of money sitting there. I believe that is a crazy old Chevrolet dealer. The fact that these cars lasted stashed away somewhere IS just crazy. You hear about barn finds, but a HUGE field full of them? Many of them with little to NO miles? Like I said, Crazy. Great vid, bet there is a hundred guys at that auction just drooling!

    Pretty cool that you even got to document all of this on film. Once these cars go, you'll never see this many of them with as few miles in one place.

    The red and white 63 Impala 327 Auto car with 11 miles was at World of Wheels Pittsburgh this past weekend on display. I had the pleasure of talking to the owner of the car. What a gorgeous time piece! Very nice guy, walked me around the car, let me open the doors and whatnot. Said he bought it at the auction for $97,000! What a gorgeous car.

    At 1:40 I was hoping you would check ou that vega, I love those cars, they are super rare these days I would say they are probably more rare than most muscle cars because no one saved them or they rotted away, I would love to find an original to drive as is or put a v8 and 4 speed into. But the other cars in this vid are just as amazing truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

    I can hardly wait for the first video of a goof-ball throwing a battery in his 'brand new' car to start it up.
    After 50 years of sitting, don't forget to disassemble and check the engines, transmissions, differentials of those 'brand new' cars. Better check the cooling, breaking and steering systems too. And don't forget the wiring loom...

    I’m confused. Why are you saying “brand new”? The bodies look beat, rusted out. The engine bats look like they have been driven 200,000 mi in west Texas.

    • @restodan
      @restodan  7 месяцев назад

      ...because many of these cars had zero miles on them. They were never sold when new.
      They still have factory paint on the exhaust manifolds.
      Never started.

    • @OleHippy
      @OleHippy 7 месяцев назад

      @@restodan Don’t get it. How can this be? Those engine bays looked like they had been rode hard and put away wet. Dirty. Rusty. The bodies had various important things wrong - faded paint, rust coming through the paint in the hood or trunk. Rusted out trunks. Even interiors looked used. Never saw anything that looked like a new car. Still the cameraman would walk towards each vehicle and say “ Here’s a new one!” I don’t get it. Hadn’t they been kept indoors?

    6:06 Why would someone trade their car in with only 2 or 3 miles on them! I thought when cars don’t sell they send them back! How did this dealership keep all these cars? I’ve seen the grave yard to cars that never sold, every year cars go to it that don’t sell, they say they can’t sell them because people wouldn’t buy new ones, they would wait and buy the ones that never sold at a cheaper price! I don’t understand how he has all these cars!
