- As a proud woman and a student at Harvard, I've been trying to focus on my education and myself. Unfortunately, conservative politicians and commentators like Ben Shapiro and Candace Owens are spreading harmful attacks and misinformation about me, my family, and the transgender community. It's really hurtful and harmful to be misgendered, insulted, and have the existence of our community denied, so instead of ignoring them, I wanted to confront them directly.
In this video, I react live to some of their videos and comments, debunk their hateful rhetoric, and defend the validity and importance of transgender identities. I share the truth about my experiences as a proud transgender woman and hope that this video can be a powerful message of resilience for anyone who has faced discrimination or bigotry based on their gender identity or expression.

Your parents DID encourage you to transition at a young age. There is no way you'd be able to even know hormone therapy exists without your parents telling you at that age.
I think we all know that the mother would have done it regardless of what a young Jazz would have said. It's clear that the mother made all of the decisions.
There's no way for any child to know about any medical treatment without an adult telling them about it. So what?

But a child can be coerced or persuaded into doing anything, including having his genitals removed, as is the case of Jazz.

This gender bending nonsense has been seen before in cultures about to collapse, Greek and Roman civilization started off celebrating beauty, courage, strength and masculinity and femininity but in a non-sexual way, that's why guys have such small dicks on classical statues, they saw sexual urges as something to keep in check, but as those two cultures started to decline, you started seeing wet noodles in art. Same in Weimar Germany, total degeneracy, that was one reason Hitler was so loved boy so many, they were sick of it, and when they talk about book burning then, they never tell you those weren't just any books, they were exactly the kind of books we don't want our kids exposed to today, smut and filth and trans ideology and sexual promiscuity and open marriages and drag story hours, there's nothing new under the sun, we're just slightly more technically proficient so they can take some rolled up skin off your back, stitch it to your crotch and call it penis.
Totally backwards from what parents normally do. We teach our kids to love themselves inside and out because their perfect. This is like no your right your f***ed up and we should change who you are. Your true self is who your born as and they’ve totally twisted it

I don't think children should be able to medically transition. But with that being said I think the dilate comment is being overblown. I mean there's tons of things we have to make our kids do, since jazz has already had the surgery, what would happen if she didn't dilate? Jazz's vagina would close and then what??? I would've probably transitioned being a tom boy as a mid where all my friends were boys. Played sports and was one of the guys. I definitely would've tried all of this if it wasn't just growing up and going through puberty!

I just watched a forum about HRT. The speakers were trans and explained how HRT has affected them over the years. They have lots of health problems now.
Yeah like early onset of dementia by the age of 50 years old and that's just the start, when all these brainwashed people get old in the next many decades, it's definitely going to put a strain on already screwed up health care system, all for the same dumb ass doctors could cash in on a fake lie sold to children. And tons of people around me were saying there was nothing wrong with puberty blockers and it would be completely reversible if Jazz ever changed her mind. Even when Jazz talks about how her cross-sex hormones made her go through puberty that is even false. Jazz didn't really experience a proper puberty at all and thus resulted in the micro gentalia that made Jazz's surgery so difficult.

Jazz's family went to at least two different doctors before Bowers and they all said Jazz would not be able to have a typical vaginoplasty due to the puberty blockers. Bowers promised there would be no revisions and everything would be dandy. It makes me feel sick their family doctor shopped on a TLC show.

@@crispypudding Sorry but thats not how medical treatments are developed. There are standards that are cultivated over time based on outcomes from specific clinical practices along with peer-reviewed research.
The overwhelming amount of data we have available indicates consistent positive outcomes for treating gender dysphoria with gender-affirming care. This is why every major health organization, including the World Health Organization and the World Medical Association, support and recommend it.
I know that may bother you: the fact that medical professionals, research and all major health organizations don't agree with you, but if you cared about the truth and the wellbeing of trans-people, you would put your feelings aside, approach the subject matter in good faith, and defer to the experts until such time as evidence warrants you not to.
When I get sick, I consult with doctors, not politicians or media pundits or internet randos. I hope you would do the same.

The reason we have the words "cis" and "trans" is so that we have a meaningful basis with which to distinguish one subset of category from another.
"Cis-woman" and "Trans-woman" are subsets of the "Woman" category. "Cis-man" and "Trans-man" are subsets of the "Man" category.
A cis-woman is a woman (gender identity) who was assigned female (biological sex) at birth.
A trans-woman is a woman (gender identity) who was assigned male (biological sex) at birth.
I hope that cleared up any confusion.

What do you mean? If a trans person opens up about their mental health or just being sad, the audience says it's because they transitioned and transitioning is wrong to many. If the trans person is happy, then the audience thinks they are acting or delusional. I understand some of the concerns but some people mask their transphobia over being concerned. There's no middle ground with some of you. Trans people can't win because a lot of you don't want them to exist.

@@PungiFungi I like to have a nuanced approach. Yes I do agree with some things people say on the issue. For example, I agree that, her life should not have been televised from a very young age. However I also believe that gender dysphoria is a real disorder and that for some, transitioning is the best solution.
I'd be happy to discuss further and I'm okay if at the end we agree to disagree. I haven't stated all my views yet so just saying in advance, please don't think I believe all gender non-conforming children should medically transition for example.

Having gender dysphoria means that their mind doesn't align with their body so many transition to improve their mental health and feel more comfortable. If anything by being more comfortable with themselves, they are more happy within themselves. Same goes for trans men. Maybe you believe otherwise because this makes you feel uncomfortable? I don't know.
Many trans people are proud to be the way they are. We are allowed to modify our bodies or/and change our styles as we see fit. If a 30-year-old woman gets breast implants, is that inherently a bad thing? If a 65-year-old gets a face lift or a 35-year-old man gets a hair transplant, are they living a lie? If someone wants to dress emo, does that mean they are unhappy?
I just believe we should let people live how they want to live as long as their not hurting anyone else. Changing is natural and a part of human nature. Sure maybe some methods of changing are not natural such as surgery, but if it's there for you and can make your life better, you are free to make that choice. I mean a tattoo or even an ear piercing is unnatural for example but it's not inherently wrong of course and it shouldn't be wrong. It's not fair to expect one group of people to just not change, whereas another group of people can.

It's obvious from the show that they're not happy with themselves. I'm not sure Jazz regrets being trans, but considering how bad the sexual re-assignment surgery went, there is definitely regret because now they will not have an active sex life. You can tell Jazz regrets losing her penis. Those surgeries are not 100% perfect and in Jazz's case, only create an opening to nowhere. It's basically cosmetic.. They butchered Jazz..

EXACTLY. I honestly can't see jazz as a victim when he has directly influenced so many children to transition and to start puberty blockers. I watched interviews of multiple detransitioners who cite jazz and his show as their primary influence for thinking they were "born in the wrong body" and were trans. Jazz even said in season 8 that he wanted to drop out of Harvard to make child transition activism a full time career. This guy is a perpetrator, not a victim. He outgrew his victim status long time ago.

Everyone knows they can never be the opposite sex to the one they were born as but we keep hearing time time again parents who hurry to transition their kids into the opposite sex. Certainly would not have you as my nurse. I've known I was trans since I was 3. However, I grew up in a very conservative household who constantly tried to tell me that I am really a boy and explained to me the differences between the sexes. The only thing it did was wreck my mental health, gave me an eating disorder, and made me resent my family.
Your son may not have been trans. (simply saying that you feel like a girl once means nothing) but a small minority kids are. Jazz was strongly rebelling against her parents for forcing her to be a boy for a long while before they even considered a social transition which simply involved letting Jazz pick her own clothes.

@@theshapeexists My parents constantly told me that I was a boy and that I should accept that. They were not accepting at all. They were quite conservative. They are still conservative. I grew up before being Trans was a trend and I went to a conservative Christian Private School in the Rural South.
I knew that I was not a boy in spite of my parents. I didn't call it "Trans" because that wasn't a thing back then. I simply called it being a girl even though other people don't see it. I never grew out of it. Most people with Early-Onset Gender Dysphoria don't grow out of it. Growing out of it is a trait of Late-Onset Gender Dysphoria.
So yes, you are correct. My parents did not guide me toward reality. They still can't see the reality that I am trans.
You should not assume that you knew the experiences of people you have never met.

My mom had a hyserectomy young and was on hormones a long time...she started suffering depression and new doctors told her all the risks of the replacement hormones her body used to have naturally. Then I finished watching the first part of Matt Walsh's show that he did last night in response to your video in response to his earlier one(s). Let me be perfectly clear, Jazz. Matt Walsh is TOTALLY on your side here. He has nothing but sympathy and compassion for what your manipulative and mercenary mother did and is continuing to do to you. In your case what we see televised is a person with many mental health challenges that have literally crippled you from going to college, leaving your house, binge eating , dating, and dealing with debilitating depression and anxiety. While you may feel it has no association with your gender transition, you would have no clue if it's not since you transitioned as a child. In reference to your Mom, she is over bearing, controlling and in my opinion exploitative. Considering your mental health challenges over the years, I would have thought she would have insisted on a pause on your show, to instead focus on your well being, and provide you privacy and peace. Parents don't always allow their children to make their own decisions, because they may not always be in the their best interest.

Also, I agree with you that parents don't always make the best decisions for their kids regarding health issues. Luckily its not just up to the parents as we have these people called doctors. I have to laugh at you. You are just so wrong. You can’t even believe the words from the person herself. Have you ever heard of ‘inter sexed’ people? These are people who are born with both sets of genitalia and if they are lucky, they get to grow up and tell their parents whether they are a boy or a girl before surgery is performed. Are they mentally ill also when they chose to have one of the genitalias removed? Did their parents push them to do it, too? Should they have walked around their whole life with a wrong set of genitalia on them? These anomalies happen in this life and people do the best they can do deal with them in the best way they know how. Why can’t everyone just shut up and let them be?

Jazz really can't see how it's possible to be confused, when you're told a lie is the truth on a daily basis starting at 2 years old.
My sons LOVED tutus and sparkling dresses til they were 4.5. We supported them and would go shopping for fun new dress ups. All that made them was boys that loved dresses. It’s ok for boys to wear traditionally ‘female’ garb. It doesn’t make them female.
@@User_U571 why would I say no? It’s literally just fabric. Didn’t make them girls. I work in the early childhood sector and knew very well they’d cease by kindergarten when peer gender preference begins and children start to mimic same sex behaviour. My point was that when Jazz was the same age, he just wanted to wear dresses and skirts. His parents are recorded as telling him that only girls wear dresses and skirts. That’s when he began saying “I am a girl”. Instead of just letting him wear them, they reinforced gender stereotypes which led to his confusion about his sex.

My kid had a phase in which he stated he was Superman… never did I push him out the window to affirm his flying abilities. Please understand that. Your parents have one irreversible damage to you, one which we will never be able to fully comprehend the extent of.
Did you hear the story about the boy who thought he could fly like Superman? It took place in the 50’s during the show’s run. Kid had the cake & climbed to the top of a chimney of an apartment building. Jumped off! He lived but he never walked again.
How can you say that you are "so happy to be me" when you admit to struggling with depression? Those are mutually exclusive.
Many people experience depression. It is not targeted to one group of people. Stop spreading hatred.

Most of the comments on here are saying that because Jazz experiences depression on occasion, it is because she transitioned. She explicitly says that is not the reason. So I thought it was safe to assume, you were falling into the group who say it’s because she transitioned. I’d be happy to be wrong.

That's what happened to eunuchs through history - weight gain, depression, apathy. Consider going to a normal SANE therapist who will help you accept who you really are and stop living in denial, hacking your body to escape reality. That may at least bring you peace and you would finally "feel like yourself".
Girl goes to college at Harvard, what are you doing? People can struggle with depression and eating issues, that have nothing to do with gender identity or regret. It is like we aren't allowed to be full and complex people and everything has to be tied back to our gender. We know who we are and we work every day to live in the confines of our reality. Do you think having to live in the world with people like you doesn't have a dramatic negative effect on our mental health? Constantly being under attack for who we are?
