My opinion on this!! Trans women are, of course, still women and just as valid as any other woman. But there are a lot of women that would be uncomfortable with a trans woman in the womans bathroom (for safety reasons), which I can understand. When I went to school, we had open bathrooms. Obviously the cubicles couldn't be seen into, but the wall between the bathroom and the room beside was knocked out. This would probably be a good idea for all bathrooms- that way, they could be gender neutral without there being a huge risk of a woman being hurt by a man in them, because people would be able to see. Meaning that both cis women and trans people could be comfortable. The problem really isn't that hard to solve.

Actually i went into the women's bathroom once by accident to the stall when i was at the MEPS for joining the military. When I went to school, we had open bathrooms. Obviously the cubicles couldn't be seen into, but the wall between the bathroom and the room beside was knocked out. This would probably be a good idea for all bathrooms- that way, they could be gender neutral without there being a huge risk of a woman being hurt by a man in them, because people would be able to see. Actually i went into the women's bathroom once by accident to the stall when i was at the MEPS for joining the military. I was in such a hurry i didn't even look up at the signs, when i was done i heard some chicks giggling in the stalls and was like WTF and ran out of there, they came out of the bathroom laughing and talking to each other meanwhile i was sunked into my seat as far as i could go, lol.
Oof, at MEPS too, that place is miserable, i still need to get a waiver :(
