Your approach to bringing this “controversial” matter into mainstream religious Jewish discourse requires an unrivaled level of quiet bravery, patience and methodical exposition.

The Igbos originate from the nation of Israel, from the tribe of Gad, who along with the tribe of Reuben and the half tribe of Manasseh, settled before the Jordan river. By necessity, these 3 tribes would be the first to have been dispersed during the Assyrian conquest of the Kingdom of Israel. This would imply that the Igbos may have been separated from Israel since as far back as 732 BCE, over 100 years before the destruction of the first temple. Traditional Igbo customs mirror practices from Abraham and Moses. A lot of that was contaminated during the colonial incursion into Igbo lands in Nigeria and introduction of Christianity in those parts, but certain practices still remain. Will the Igbos ever be recognised as members of the nation of Israel? I don't think so, because it is not a politically expedient outcome nor a practical matter because granting Igbos a right of return would more than double the population of the state of Israel. I am persuaded that only Moshiach will resolve this, as well as bring back all the other lost tribes. Until then, it is nice to know that some of our brothers and sisters from whom we have long been parted recognise that we are of the same stock. Shalom.

The first time I spoke to a BHI over 20 years ago ended by him telling me "you think I'm your brother, I am not your brother"
what I learned from that is a jew is a jew but there are also Christian who want it both ways both jesus and Abraham's inheritance.
One is Jewish/ inheritance of abraham isaac and Jacob via there mother or conversation and if someone says they are Jewish and practice acording to the Torah no one doubts it, they are true Jews but if they do not keep the law then we dont know if they are Jewish. what if they keep the law but there parents dont keep it going back 3 generations what do we do (a Mikvah does not sound like a bad idea) ?
Tell me if I am wrong

Without circumcisions HI or anyone is not a part of the nation. A Kosher circumcision with 2 witnesses who keeps Shabbat. Reciting a blessing, making a oral commitment to the witnesses to keep the entire Torah

If a person is truly committed to living a Torah life. They will not be ashamed for having a circumcision. The Jews had circumcision before receiving the Torah also before entering the land of Israel.

@@mordechaibenavraham6588 please correct me if I’m wrong but at Mount Sinai, after the Israelites we’re Mikvah’d through the Red Sea 🌊, weren’t they then told to ready themselves for the receipt of the Torah to include the circumcisions. So ALL this was done BEFORE receiving Torah. And then, of course, they accepted Torah before fully understanding it.
This seems that this should be the example. We accept the Torah even without understanding it all.
My ancestors came to America under duress but because they were slaves it seems almost impossible to prove Jewishness. As African American how do we reintegrate??

There is no Judaism - a Jew is from the tribe of Judah and there are no Jews today - today there are only Israel and Khazar eshkenazi are not Israel ,there is the religion of Abraham - the reliogion of peace and in Arabic Islam .You canot convert to be Israel - only by merige - paying a Rabi money and studing the Torah dosnt makes you Israel .
