Thank you for another excellent video; I always learn something new. I am not Jewish, but I have been to Israel, and couldn't have enjoyed myself more. My visit was for business, but in a way, that was a blessing - I was able to focus less on the tourist sites and more on the people. My only regret was at Ben-Gurion airport: I thought I would have been questioned more about the purpose of my trip, but was only asked 2 or 3 questions. I asked a Jewish friend of mine about this, and he said, "you do not look like a threat". I will return to Israel as soon as the Corona virus situation is over. Shalom

Thanks for this. I am a Christian and the building where my fellowship meets used to be a synagogue. There is still a commemorative plaque remembering a lady who let the Hebrew congregation meet in her house until the synagogue was built. The date of her death is given as 1947 but aslo in the Jewish calendar. I never knew until now whether that calendar was based on the Creation or from the Exodus from Egypt where Moses was told by God to mark that date as the beginning of their year. Something else cool: In old times, before electricity, and when candles were expansive, the anciant Jews that created the calander, wanted to celebrate holidays all night long. They wanted to eat and be with their family, so they decided, whenever possible, to celebrate holidays in the full moon. When the moon is full and there are no other lights, it's like a beacon. You can see almost as well as in the day. This is why a lot of Jewish holidays fall in the middle of the Jewish months: 14 Tishrei: Erev Sukkot ערב סוכות 15 Shevat: Tu BiShvat ט"ו בשבת 14 Adar: Purim פורים 15 Nisan: Passover פסח 15 Av: Tu B’Av ט"ו באב

Thank you. But this Jewish calendar is NOT God's calendar described in the Tanach. These are 7 facts that no one can deny: 1. God's calendar described in the Tanakh is a purely astronomical calendar, in which each month begins with the first visible crescent moon (the so-called "new light"). This is what God has ordained (not us). But the current Hebrew calendar is inaccurate, it is based only on statistical averages and a month can begin before, during or after the first visible crescent moon. God's calendar does not have a uniformly defined number of days (each month may have 29 or 30 days), but the Jewish calendar has a fixed number of days in each month. In the Book of Leviticus, God designated the month of Abib (Nisan) as the first month, but the Hebrew calendar begins in the seventh month, which is the first month of the civil calendar. However, the connection with the harvest seasons is lost, since the festival season begins with the first grain that can be harvested. So God's calendar begins in the spring, when life awakens, when the first ears of barley can be harvested and it becomes warmer and lighter. But the Jewish calendar begins in autumn, when the harvest is already over, when the plant life ends and it becomes colder and darker. The connection of the feast days with the harvest times (which also reveal God's plan with mankind) is thus completely lost in the Jewish calendar. 2. God's calendar described in the Tanakh (Leviticus 23) is based on God's words given to the people of Israel after the Exodus from Egypt through Moses. But the current Hebrew calendar is not based on God's word, but on the calculations of the patriarch Hillel II, and it was not developed in the time of Moses, but in the 4th century CE (AD). 3. God's calendar described in the Tanakh is the calendar of a free people who were liberated from Egypt by God. But the present Hebrew calendar was invented by a people expelled from Israel, who lived scattered over all the continents of the earth and who could no longer see the first crescent moon over Jerusalem. The prophetic books often tell how the people of Israel turned away from God, so God allowed them to be punished several times on the 9th of Av and the First and Second Temples were destroyed (the latter in the year 70 CE). The Israelites were expelled. In the Diaspora, this new calendar made sense because the exiled Israelites could no longer see the first crescent moon over Jerusalem. With this new mathematical calendar, expelled Jews around the world could all celebrate the same holidays together. But since the Jews were allowed to return to their homeland, Israel, and the State of Israel was "born" on March 14, 1948 (the fig tree began to grow again), the Israelites, unfortunately, did not adopt God's old calendar described in the Tanakh, but the new calendar of the 4th century CE. 4. The calendar described in the Tanakh is God's calendar, but the current Hebrew calendar is an invention of people trying to approach God's calendar. In many months it is correct, as in 2020, when Passover and therefore Shavuot (Pentecost) fell on exactly the same days in both calendars. But in many months there are also differences of one or even several days. This year there are differences, examples: Hillel's Jewish mathematical calendar (4th century A.D./CE; the current calendar in Israel): Pesach (Nisan 15): March 27/28, 2021 (15th day of the 7th month). Today we have astronomical data (e.g., from NASA) in which the first crescent moon visible over Jerusalem in most months can be determined with certainty. Thus, all dates of the calendar can be calculated (dated) in advance or back more than millennia. But here it should be noted that leap months (approximately every three years) must be calculated correctly and that is where most errors occur. Some also make the mistake of always starting the first month of the year from the first visible crescent moon after the equinox. This is wrong, because the decisive criterion has always been the condition of the early grain (barley), which had to be in the state of maturity called "abib". On the day after the High Sabbath, that is, on the 16th of Abib/Nisan, the sheaf of the first fruits was offered in the Temple, and only after that could the barley harvest begin. But if we started the first month a month later, the barley grains would have fallen on the ground and the first fruits would have fallen on the ground, that would be terrible. That is why the farmers and the priests always went to the faults before the beginning of the month and checked whether the barley would be ripe enough to be harvested in the middle of the month (16th of Abib). If the barley was not yet ripe, a leap month was introduced. Thus, there was always harmony between God's calendar and the harvest times. All of God's feasts are also harvest feasts in the three harvest seasons: in spring (Pesach: barley), in summer (Shavuot: wheat), in autumn (Yom Teruah/Kippur, Sukkot: grapes and fruits, later olives). However, the first High Sabbath (Nisan 15) and Sukkot (Tisheri 15) are always near the spring and fall equinoxes. All feast days are meetings (moedim, appointed times) with God and those who miscalculate these days celebrate with themselves but not with God. Clearly defined astronomical dates by God determine the days, months, years and holidays, not human calculations. God created living space and time. He alone has the right to determine the times of meeting. 6. If the priest had miscalculated Yom Kippur, he would have died when entering the Holy of Holies in the Temple. Therefore, the difference between these two calendars has to do not only with different doctrines, but even with life and death. If there is to be a temple again in Jerusalem, then this must be carefully observed. 7. When God re-establishes His kingdom on this earth, then there will again be God's calendar described in the Tanakh worldwide and never again the present Hebrew calendar, which was invented by men. Then, of course, the Gregorian Catholic calendar will never exist again. God's calendar is ingenious, because it connects the heavenly bodies (sun, moon, stars), nature (Phenology, state of development of plants) and time in a harmonious unity. If anyone has a different opinion, he is invited to show us the possible errors in the above points based on the Tanakh. So far, no one has succeeded and we also have good contacts in Israel who confirm the above and the differences between the two.

The only thing j got wrong is that lo bashamayim hi - which means it isnt in the heaven - when there was a proper bet din the new month was decided when a jewish man with 2 witnesses would go to bet din and say they saw the new moon. If the bet din declared it so then tha became the actual new month (even if they erred - that decided it, not the position) and every few yrs. They institied a double month of adar (called adar sheini) to ensure that the festivals fall in the correct season

I think was is meant by that is that you shall not do any work that causes your mind and body to stress and express strain. But to not be allowed to turn on the radio? That isn’t promoting work. I discovered in 2020 that the Jewish year 5780 digits would add up to 20. And this whole decade the Jewish years digits add up to the Gregorian years number used at the end like 5+7+8+1=21 and Gregorian is 2021. All this decade is like this..

Unfortunately, The Jewish calendar used today isn't the calendar used years ago. Hillel II changed the calendar to a set calendar, whereas years ago the days and months were determined by the moon etc. Hillel did this due to the severe persecution of the Jews by Rome. Rome did not want the Jews to celebrate the sabbath day or most of the Jewish festivals.

Actually the Jewish calendar is off by 220 years. The Jewish Talmud has time in Egypt as 210 years instead of 430 years. So it is accurately the year 6001 on the Jewish calendar.

Exod 12:2 tells us that the moon in which Pasach is celebrated in is the (roshe) head of moons. Which is the 1st moon called abib or nisan. You have shared that tishri is the beginning of the new year. Called Rosh Hashanah as the beginning of the year,, and then comes the Day Of Atonement 10 days later. It has been my understanding that within Judiasm there is a civil year, which begins with tishri and ends 12 moons later, with an added moon every so many years. The Tanach gives us, for lack of better words, the religious 7 moon year in which HaShem gives the 7 festivals, listed within Lev 23. The Day Of Atonement is listed within this 7 moon religious year listed in lev 23. Could it be a mistake to intermix the Jewish Civil year with the religious 7 moon year Givin by Ha Shem? For example Rosh Hashanah begins the Jewish civil year, commemorating creation. Would it not possibly be a mistake to intermix Rosh Hashanah with Yom Teruah since one is from the civil year and the other from the religious year. Also Tishri is referred to in the religious year as being the end of the year in Tenach in Exod 23:16 in reference to the feast of ingathering. So Tenach tells us of a year that begins with Nisan and ends with Tishri. A seven month religious year that incorporates the feasts. And Rosh Hashanah is not one of them. Rosh Hashanah is a beautiful celebration I am not dissing it or it's validity.

So, we believe that in the Jewish year 7000, also considered as the sabbatical millennia, the Moshiach will come/return. So does that mean there is about 1218 years left for the complete restoration of His people from all over the nations?

Oren, About ''DON'T ASK ME HARD QUESTIONS'' I believe you meant about the age of the world according to the Torah that doesn't get along with the science facts of dinosaur's bones etc. The answer for that is the ''Mabul'' - the flood that washed the entire world (The Noah story) it came to erase all kinds of creatures who created not in the original shapes of G-d's creation by mixing up different types of animals etc, the flood was extremely burning and mixed with lava and gases etc. like a volcano which caused the remaining pieces to look like it past through thousands more years than it's actual age but it was intense rushed process : )

Thank you. But this Jewish calendar is NOT God's calendar described in the Tanach. These are 7 facts that no one can deny:
1. God's calendar described in the Tanakh is a purely astronomical calendar, in which each month begins with the first visible crescent moon (the so-called "new light"). This is what God has ordained (not us). But the current Hebrew calendar is inaccurate, it is based only on statistical averages and a month can begin before, during or after the first visible crescent moon. God's calendar does not have a uniformly defined number of days (each month may have 29 or 30 days), but the Jewish calendar has a fixed number of days in each month. In the Book of Leviticus, God designated the month of Abib (Nisan) as the first month, but the Hebrew calendar begins in the seventh month, which is the first month of the civil calendar. However, the connection with the harvest seasons is lost, since the festival season begins with the first grain that can be harvested.
So God's calendar begins in the spring, when life awakens, when the first ears of barley can be harvested and it becomes warmer and lighter. But the Jewish calendar begins in autumn, when the harvest is already over, when the plant life ends and it becomes colder and darker. The connection of the feast days with the harvest times (which also reveal God's plan with mankind) is thus completely lost in the Jewish calendar.
2. God's calendar described in the Tanakh (Leviticus 23) is based on God's words given to the people of Israel after the Exodus from Egypt through Moses. But the current Hebrew calendar is not based on God's word, but on the calculations of the patriarch Hillel II, and it was not developed in the time of Moses, but in the 4th century CE (AD).
3. God's calendar described in the Tanakh is the calendar of a free people who were liberated from Egypt by God. But the present Hebrew calendar was invented by a people expelled from Israel, who lived scattered over all the continents of the earth and who could no longer see the first crescent moon over Jerusalem. The prophetic books often tell how the people of Israel turned away from God, so God allowed them to be punished several times on the 9th of Av and the First and Second Temples were destroyed (the latter in the year 70 CE). The Israelites were expelled. In the Diaspora, this new calendar made sense because the exiled Israelites could no longer see the first crescent moon over Jerusalem. With this new mathematical calendar, expelled Jews around the world could all celebrate the same holidays together. But since the Jews were allowed to return to their homeland, Israel, and the State of Israel was "born" on March 14, 1948 (the fig tree began to grow again), the Israelites, unfortunately, did not adopt God's old calendar described in the Tanakh, but the new calendar of the 4th century CE.
4. The calendar described in the Tanakh is God's calendar, but the current Hebrew calendar is an invention of people trying to approach God's calendar. In many months it is correct, as in 2020, when Passover and therefore Shavuot (Pentecost) fell on exactly the same days in both calendars. But in many months there are also differences of one or even several days. This year there are differences, examples:
Hillel's Jewish mathematical calendar (4th century A.D./CE; the current calendar in Israel):
Pesach (Nisan 15): March 27/28, 2021 (15th day of the 7th month).
Shavuot: May 16/17, 2021 (the 50th day after Pesach)
Tisha B'Av: July 17/18, 2021 (9th day of the 11th month)
Tu B'Av: July 23/24, 2021 (15th day of the 11th month)
Yom Teruah: September 6/7, 2021 (1st day of the 1st month)
Yom Kippur: September 15/16, 2021 (10th day of the 1st month)
Shemini Atzeret: September 27/28 (22nd day of the 1st month)
God's biblical astronomical calendar (e.g. TorahCalendar):
Pesach (Nisan 15): March 28/29, 2021 (15th day of the 1st month)
Shavuot: May 17/18, 2021 (the 50th day after Pesach)
Tisha B'Av: July 19/20, 2021 (9th day of the 5th month)
Tu B'Av: July 25/26, 2021 (15th day of the 5th month)
Yom Teruah: September 8/9, 2021 (1st day of the 7th month)
Yom Kippur: September 17/18, 2021 (10th day of the 7th month)
Shemini Atzeret: September 29/30 (22nd day of the 7st month)
5. Today we have astronomical data (e.g., from NASA) in which the first crescent moon visible over Jerusalem in most months can be determined with certainty. Thus, all dates of the calendar can be calculated (dated) in advance or back more than millennia. But here it should be noted that leap months (approximately every three years) must be calculated correctly and that is where most errors occur.
Some also make the mistake of always starting the first month of the year from the first visible crescent moon after the equinox. This is wrong, because the decisive criterion has always been the condition of the early grain (barley), which had to be in the state of maturity called "abib". On the day after the High Sabbath, that is, on the 16th of Abib/Nisan, the sheaf of the first fruits was offered in the Temple, and only after that could the barley harvest begin. But if we started the first month a month later, the barley grains would have fallen on the ground and the first fruits would have fallen on the ground, that would be terrible. That is why the farmers and the priests always went to the faults before the beginning of the month and checked whether the barley would be ripe enough to be harvested in the middle of the month (16th of Abib). If the barley was not yet ripe, a leap month was introduced. Thus, there was always harmony between God's calendar and the harvest times. All of God's feasts are also harvest feasts in the three harvest seasons: in spring (Pesach: barley), in summer (Shavuot: wheat), in autumn (Yom Teruah/Kippur, Sukkot: grapes and fruits, later olives). However, the first High Sabbath (Nisan 15) and Sukkot (Tisheri 15) are always near the spring and fall equinoxes.
All feast days are meetings (moedim, appointed times) with God and those who miscalculate these days celebrate with themselves but not with God. Clearly defined astronomical dates by God determine the days, months, years and holidays, not human calculations. God created living space and time. He alone has the right to determine the times of meeting.
6. If the priest had miscalculated Yom Kippur, he would have died when entering the Holy of Holies in the Temple. Therefore, the difference between these two calendars has to do not only with different doctrines, but even with life and death. If there is to be a temple again in Jerusalem, then this must be carefully observed.
7. When God re-establishes His kingdom on this earth, then there will again be God's calendar described in the Tanakh worldwide and never again the present Hebrew calendar, which was invented by men. Then, of course, the Gregorian Catholic calendar will never exist again. God's calendar is ingenious, because it connects the heavenly bodies (sun, moon, stars), nature (Phenology, state of development of plants) and time in a harmonious unity.
If anyone has a different opinion, he is invited to show us the possible errors in the above points based on the Tanakh. So far, no one has succeeded and we also have good contacts in Israel who confirm the above and the differences between the two.

The only thing j got wrong is that lo bashamayim hi - which means it isnt in the heaven - when there was a proper bet din the new month was decided when a jewish man with 2 witnesses would go to bet din and say they saw the new moon. If the bet din declared it so then tha became the actual new month (even if they erred - that decided it, not the position) and every few yrs. They institied a double month of adar (called adar sheini) to ensure that the festivals fall in the correct season

I’ve never understood why electronics can’t be used. In the Bible, it says to rest, yes, but from physical work. I think was is meant by that is that you shall not do any work that causes your mind and body to stress and express strain. But to not be allowed to turn on the radio? That isn’t promoting work. You’re not working. The radio is and it’s not a person.

I discovered in 2020 that the Jewish year 5780 digits would add up to 20. And this whole decade the Jewish years digits add up to the Gregorian years number used at the end like 5+7+8+1=21 and Gregorian is 2021. All this decade is like this..

The Sabbath is the 7th day, at sundown, every week. Months are determined by new moons. Each new moon, is a new month.
This is how the festivals of GOD are determined, in order to celebrate on the correct days, stated in Leviticus 23.

Unfortunately, The Jewish calendar used today isn't the calendar used years ago. Hillel II changed the calendar to a set calendar, whereas years ago the days and months were determined by the moon etc. Hillel did this due to the severe persecution of the Jews by Rome. Rome did not want the Jews to celebrate the sabbath day or most of the Jewish festivals.

Actually the Jewish calendar is off by 220 years. The Jewish Talmud has time in Egypt as 210 years instead of 430 years. So it is accurately the year 6001 on the Jewish calendar.

Exod 12:2 tells us that the moon in which Pasach is celebrated in is the (roshe) head of moons. Which is the 1st moon called abib or nisan. You have shared that tishri is the beginning of the new year. Called Rosh Hashanah as the beginning of the year,, and then comes the Day Of Atonement 10 days later. It has been my understanding that within Judiasm there is a civil year, which begins with tishri and ends 12 moons later, with an added moon every so many years. The Tanach gives us, for lack of better words, the religious 7 moon year in which HaShem gives the 7 festivals, listed within Lev 23. The Day Of Atonement is listed within this 7 moon religious year listed in lev 23. Could it be a mistake to intermix the Jewish Civil year with the religious 7 moon year Givin by Ha Shem? For example Rosh Hashanah begins the Jewish civil year, commemorating creation. Would it not possibly be a mistake to intermix Rosh Hashanah with Yom Teruah since one is from the civil year and the other from the religious year. Also Tishri is referred to in the religious year as being the end of the year in Tenach in Exod 23:16 in reference to the feast of ingathering. So Tenach tells us of a year that begins with Nisan and ends with Tishri. A seven month religious year that incorporates the feasts. And Rosh Hashanah is not one of them. Rosh Hashanah is a beautiful celebration I am not dissing it or it's validity.

According to the Bible and the sages, 1 day is like 1000 years and vice versa to G-d. So, we believe that in the Jewish year 7000, also considered as the sabbatical millennia, the Moshiach will come/return. So does that mean there is about 1218 years left for the complete restoration of His people from all over the nations?

Oren, About ''DON'T ASK ME HARD QUESTIONS'' I believe you meant about the age of the world according to the Torah that doesn't get along with the science facts of dinosaur's bones etc. The answer for that is the ''Mabul'' - the flood that washed the entire world (The Noah story) it came to erase all kinds of creatures who created not in the original shapes of G-d's creation by mixing up different types of animals etc, the flood was extremely burning and mixed with lava and gases etc. like a volcano which caused the remaining pieces to look like it past through thousands more years than it's actual age but it was intense rushed process : )
