No president, no parliament, just gangs

  • Amid escalating anarchy and political breakdown, Haiti faces one of its darkest periods. Prime Minister Garry Conille has been ousted, adding to a series of short-lived leaders, as gang violence dominates most of the country. With no president since 2021 and an empty parliament since 2023, Haiti is left in the hands of a Transitional Presidential Council plagued by corruption allegations. Meanwhile, over 700,000 Haitians have been displaced, with famine-like conditions emerging in some areas. Can international assistance or local resilience bring stability to a country ravaged by gangs and political corruption?

This is a crisis created by the UN itself, and they constantly promote the idea that chaos exists throughout Haiti to justify the forced movement of the population to the Dominican Republic.
The gangs are only in the capital, and refugee camps could be located in northern Haiti, which is free from gangs.
Removing humanitarian aid only intensifies the flow of Haitians toward the Dominican Republic. This UN approach is not new and has never worked; examples include Somalia, Sudan, Bosnia, etc.
Moving the crisis from one country to a neighboring country does not solve the problems-it only prolongs the need for aid ($$$) and spreads it to two countries. This is nothing new.

@@marilynjackson5752AID does not do what it is supposed to do. There is very little accountability for governments who receive aid. NGOs replace the state , but their job is not to build but provide relief. The state is highly corrupted ,rely on the NGOs to do what they are supposed to do, sprinkle a little dust to the population and funnel the money to offshore accounts or investments. In Haiti the government is not only corrupted but criminal, but the western countries still fund them. They were 30+ sanctions against government officials and private actors (who received aid money for their projects) too for arming gangs , drug trafficking over the last 2 years. Zero were prosecuted.
AID in this case fuels chaos and crimes with impunity. It is so bad , there was another coup d'état for a new group of people to come and enrich themselves. It is the most profitable scheme of all. Oh and Haiti is not part of the ICC and the justice system is weak. The good people get killed and the cycle repeats.

And Trinidad! Whether it be Jamaica or Haiti or Trinidad leading packs, that may be of argument there. Not too long ago a pair of young black male students came on the local transit bus. Speaking, preaching, and ranting their 'Abu Gabi' like well educated beaurocrats and politicians. They sat at the back of the bus. The whole bus heard them. I could barely make out their English but enjoyed the cultural bout. And all of a sudden, at one stop, a young girl came on to the bus. Another student perhaps. A white girl. They all of a sudden shut up. They shut their gobs. Their mouths. The bus was all of a sudden silent all the way to the terminal. They did not say a word. You could hear a pin drop. What one girl can do to a man and put him in his place. In a mix of race and culture. All happy! All healthy! All fit and strong! All proud! All striving to better themselves and the worlds around them. We do not always understand each other at cultural levels, but we must take time to listen to one another at times, at an equal pace, to understand one another better. Our intentions. Our concerns!

Empathy is the cure it's the only way people have to stop only thinking about themselves. We're all one people and we should be in this fight for survival together. Once Haitians and the rest of the world sees that we can start the healing process. Haiti never got a fair chance at a good start our freedom debt and subsequent shunning of the outside world and trade. Stunted our growth heavily and has had generational consequences our the rampant corruption added fuel to the fire. Empathy, Compassion, Patience, Understanding, Love, Generosity, thats the cure. I see a lot of people saying it's not our problem, we don't have to help, we need to focus on ourselves, and you're right but if we keep doing the same thing nothing will change. If we abstain from or natural selfish desires maybe things will get better maybe if you help others they'll help you.

I’m genuinely asking this question. Listening to the two men talk one was white and older and the other was a more younger/middle aged black man. Why do they expect other countries to do all of these things for Haiti? Like saying they have simple requests hospitals, schools, roads, etc. why do they blame other countries or expect them to do all of this for them? I’m not being smart I’m asking. I don’t know much about what’s going on there.
And to add the talk about funds to Haiti. It’s not secret how corrupt the government is there that I do know. That money won’t go to help people. Just like anywhere else the rich stay rich everyone else is screwed. Sending funds will not help those people on the streets struggling.

Choosing a prime minister, ministers and general directors are more transactional, I mean business oriented, than real governance.
Such government posts are usually sold to the highest bidders.
Haiti is supposed to bring its own security, she owes it to herself, no one else,
but USA has to distance itself, affording the country enough space so she may be able to take her destiny into her own hands.

As someone who grew up in Haiti and who's mother just got rescued from there I found some of Kim's comments to be disturbing and out of touch considering the violence and suffering the people are experiencing at the hands of the gang members on the ground. I'm astounded at how clearly and comfortably he supports Bbq and the violence and injustice he has visited on his own people under the guise of revolution against internatinal interferance. Shame on you sir and your indifference to what is taking place and your delusional suggestion that anyone should sit down with this vicious, violent criminal, Bbq, as though he represents the best interests of the Haitian people who him and his goons are robbing, rapeing and murdering on a daily basis. Disgusting! You, your magazine, and your support of bbq reek of freemasonry and my God will have the last word in the mighty name of Jesus! His will be done!

      -----
Haiti can and must unite and stand up. Then ask for help. Not blame in order to ask for help.

One thing I know Haiti has got is al ot of cocanut seeds. Pick them up. Send some to Africa along sugar cane for rum fields and animal ranges. Trade for things to build something like planes and ships. Add to the world plate and team of Daily Bread! More limes and lemons, in cocanut fiber baskets and mediums. Cocanut shells! Why are people not growing more in pots? Seed banking? Growing everything? Canada is getting more scurvy apparantly. it is not scurvy. It is malnutrition. We the world do not have time to waste. We need directors. We need directions. More lead hands. Better project managers! Soldiers, get it done, and lead the way as such. Learn also how to do it.
