  • Professor Brian Cox took to the stage with his previous band D:Ream to perform ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ at Glade dome at Glastonbury 2024. Very apt timing considering the currently political climate in the UK right now. This was brilliant to witness. Thanks for this excellent performance.

    This was one of my "Glastonbury moments" this year. I just happened to be walking past the Glade stage and d:ream were playing, I knew Brian Cox was on site and I had one of those "could this actually happen?" thoughts - so I stuck around. And I'm so glad I did!

      @@Rosco0754 the song was released years before the Labour Party used it in the election campaign so it is associated with very different and brilliant times for me.

      @@dominotyping I'm aware of that and I took had good times to it, it's just now when I hear it I see that f*cling hatefull face and his Mrs (I used to do ministerial protection so it's a bit my poignant I guess)
