    I have the spoonful 5 I've gotta say that the neck single coil is my favorite position. Also, I bought them with the baseplate on the bridge and it gives more body to that position. Great playing!

    The Seymour Duncan are a generic set. Versatile without much personality. Both Tone Hatch sets seem to capture the specific strengths of their Fender counterparts really well. Good demos!

      @@JoelCamins from what I can tell the Duncans are a generic 50s era. The fender equivalent might be custom shop fat 50s but Duncan isn't really an imitator brand. They don't make their own version of fender things, they have always made their own sound (same with DiMarzio and the other big brands.)
      I particularly like that tone hatch is making a fender pickup that fender doesn't make anymore. I suspect he could sell those Spoonful sets for $300 and it would still be a steal compared to the used market.
