@Fikri Arieska still somehow, 2000-2010 era cgi have more frame than today cgi. Making modern gundam kinda hard to watch, if only they stick to what unicorn use (3d+2d) I would watch some of the new gundam movie
It definitely has style, is kinda over the top in movement and characters but still something very interesting to look at. I believe Gundam Evolve is also from the same team and they also made a pretty good job.
Char should have upgraded his Gelgoog with the high mobility backpack add-on as a means of counteracting Amuro's RX-78-2's magnetic coating field upgrade. While the coating complemented Amuro's reaction time, the addition of the booster backpack would have further complemented that of Char's speed, thus enabling him to put up a better fight against Amuro. In other words, a faster red comet...With the increase of this speed, Char should have donned his normal suit as agreed with Lalah...
I doubt the added mobility would've helped Char because Amuro's skill (and awakened newtype powers) surpassed Char's at that point. Char couldn't even defeat Amuro with the more powerful and advanced Zeong. The best he could do was a draw. A faster Gelgoog wouldn't have done any better. Additionally, if we're going with the what-if scenario, Amuro in the Alex would've embarrassed Char.
Was that man really an ace before that? He was a political loyalty officer. He turned out to be a good pilot once he realized he should be protecting children, not throwing them away.
If Zeon had focused on producing Gelgoogs on a mass scale instead of making a ton of experimental mobile suits and better trained their upcoming pilots, they would have won the one year war.
Issue: the federation was doing the exact same thing and doing it far better. Have you seen the stats on the stock GM? Its literally faster than a gelgoog

Thus even though it makes no sense for the federation to have such an abysmal k/d ratio and still win, we have to watch GMs explode every 5 seconds because thats what the shareholders want. And then neonazi wehraboo dipshits will tell you thats exactly how ww2 was fought and if so and so tank was mass produced we'd all be speaking german. Its depressing

Igloo animation still holds up. One of the most over the top landings for a baby seal clubber.

@@GraySerpent the frame issue is more to do with 2d animation looking much better at 12-23 fps vs 3d being much better at around 30 fps

The Gelgoog High Mobility has always been my favorite Gelgoog variant. It’s just so rad.
I always liked the Jaeger and the Marine Commander type, myself.
Herbert was oozing Gestapo but in the end I felt sad for him because instead fleeing he fought to the end.

カスペン大佐ってパイロットとしての…腕前は良いの？(素朴な疑問)
片腕が義手というハンデ考えると元はかなりの腕のあるパイロットだったんだと思います。
ゲラートなんかは怪我で指揮官に回ってましたけど、カスペンは現場主義というか常にモビルスーツに乗っていたいタイプなんでしょうね。
ビームライフル全弾命中させてるからかなりいい
隻腕(左手が義手)でありながらビームライフルをボールにキッチリと当てる、絶望的な戦況の中25分間戦線を維持する。(最終的には戦死するが、全武装を損耗していたらしい)
タカ派ではあるがイデオロギーと部下の命をしっかりと分けて判断出来る人物。生粋の軍人であり、滅茶苦茶口下手であるっぽい為に誤解されがちだが、学徒兵を見て激怒したのも「大人が守るべき子供を戦場に送る事」に激怒しただけ。
最後艦長に銃を向けたのも、終戦命令が出てるのに出撃したら艦長に戦後責任が生じてしまう為「カスペン大隊長が銃を向けて準備を命じ、勝手に出撃してしまった」という体裁を整える事でヨーツンヘイムに責任を生じさせる事なく友軍救援任務に出る為。政治にも理解があるなど、ジオン軍人として見たらかなり真っ当な部類

MSのコックピットに情報として投影されているだけで、実際はガイドビーコンが視認できるようにはなっていないんじゃないかな？MSパイロットが見ている映像はカメラからのリアルタイムではなく、情報を処理したCG映像という設定があるからね。
