Yeah I am a huge Mads fan and I can't name a single piece of work from him that I didn't like and this game is nuts on so many levels, it's great to see someone like Mads who has done so much in his career to be excited about this project that's not anything like he's done before.

Mads is Such an underrated actor. Especially in hannibal
I’m not sure he’s underrated in that tbf he’s easily the best character in the show
i literally watch hannibal because of him.
Not sure I would say underrated, most people who didn't know about him before Hannibal seemed to be impressed how he made that role his own. Although I do think he was kinda wasted in dr strange not because he did a bad job. But since it was an origin movie and they wanted to set up Mordo as a future villan he didn't really get to be a fully fleshed out character. I think marvel should have waited and offered him Dr. Doom instead, I think he would have been perfect for that role.
Kinda hoping they find a way to ignore the one actor one role rule they have mostly followed. Perhaps something happens with the multiverse during phase 4 to make it possible.

Hannibal was a bad show in means of story writing but the camera and decoration and acting etc was all top notch. I think it was more of a quick moneygrab for the writers.

You are so right with that statement, I wish others could understand that. I mean I can understand why someone might not like this game, but I dont understand why they have to bash it and kojima.
@kajestro m. It's very unpolished, which is normal for a game like this. It attempts to do something drastically different. And I think that deters people as many just want a quick experience. But that's the thing with these games, later on we appreciate them for what they've done. Shadow of the Colossus is an example of that, it has inspired so many games, even things like BOTW which combine the polished versions of many pre-existing ideas (which is great, it's what we want all these games for), yet initially, Shadow of the Colossus was a very niche thing. It continues to be somewhat niche, but people are at least somewhat aware of it and understand it in the context of revolutionizing some parts of the gaming industry. That's Death Stranding to me, an unpolished but highly ambitious creation that will be appreciated more in a few years once people realise the influence that this game will have on other games.

Yes. Cliff is not truly evil. I don't think anyone in this game is. The only closest to evil would be Higgs, but I also doubt that.

@@PS3PS2fan nobody is evil in Death Stranding. As far as i'm concerned, the true antagonist of the Death Stranding universe would be Life itself. Every character is a victim of their destiny. Even EE (Amelie/Bridget) is a victim, she just tried to end her suffering by triggering the Death Stranding early.

@@echos9396 The Game Awards needed to be better as a whole. The whole show was just sort of there. The only parts that stand out was "Untitled Beaker Game" because that skit was pretty funny and Reggie's speech for still showing everyone how awesome he still is.

Well it's quite simple. The gameplay simply doesn't work for me. I don't enjoy it.

SPLINTERBORN it’s fairly original but I think it needs some work. Interesting in concept but man I struggle to say this game is game of the year worthy. It’s experimental, that’s for sure, but I’d say it’s more unique than amazing.
Alot of people do like it though. I also like it alot. obviously the opposite is true as well. :)

Cliff and Die-Hardman had the best performances by far. And that's saying a lot since all the cast did an outstanding work
So proud to be Danish, and see how much Mads Mikkelsen has changed over the years. From odd side characters in B rated Danish movies, to full on well established bad guy in Hollywood movies, and making video games with Kojima.
Death Stranding is one unique experience. Love this game.

Mikkelsen's role in Death Stranding was pivotal. His acting is phenomenal; and with Kojima, it made Death Stranding into a masterpiece that had me tearing up at the end.
I find it interesting and hilarious that everyone who says Anthony Hopkins is the best Hannibal and that no one can ever top him admits to not having seen Mads' show Hannibal, in my experience virtually everyone who has ever seen Hannibal passionately or reluctantly admits that Mikkelsen is the best Hannibal Lecter. That's amazing, not a small feat, by any stretch.

One of the most fascinating and infuriating experiences works I've played in a long time. The ambition is as great as its length, and it feels like nothing else to come before it. I'm also fairly confident nothing like it will come after he it.
Mads has the role of the best character in the video game, I've been waiting for it since its announcement in 2016 and I've played it a lot from Nov 8 2019 to now, the game is out of what we knew in the industry, something different, a luxury cast and an overwhelming soundtrack, flawless video game Hideo has given us again.

There’s nothing masterpiece about death Stranding although I will say the storytelling saved a huge chunk of the game for it not to be complete trash.

Mads has been in my top 3 favorite actors in my whole life. His character in the game is awesome. He did amazing as always. I wish there was just more Mads movies, games and any other media.

Loved this game so much the story was phenomenal, I still occasionally got back to it just to enjoy the views and help build the roads for others.
I just finish it in last 2 days, and I can say its story and ending is very blew my mind. Such a great story and characters. Only gameplay is quite boring sometimes but is it weirdly simple but enjoyable.
Can't wait to play this when it's out on PC.
Cliff is my favorite character, and I was so glad Mads won for best performance at Game Awards.

What makes me become Mads fan is when i was watching him in Casino Royale as Le Chiffre& of course as Hanibal.
Fun fact Nicolas Winding Refn the movie director whom Heartman was modelled after (but not voiced) had originally suggested Keanu Reeves to play Cliff but Kojima stuck with Mads and I'm so glad he did he pulled off an oscar level performance especially in his final scene in he game.
