This is so sad,the biggest loss is to the fans, they must be devastated,i remember how worried i was when my team villa were in deep trouble,i couldn't imagine life without my club, utv
And mine Palace
@@funkymonkey65Us Evertonians are still in it 😂
Not as much as you think....they killed a huge part of me. Killed my passion. Ruined everything!! Nothing left.
sounds like an interesting FM save
Everyone is going on about that on the football manager Facebook groups
They won’t be on it
@@jmy1974 For hardcore FM players, they will
That should never be your first thought when hearing this news
My thoughts exactly! Lol I was like well to FM I go to bring them up
This is exactly why there needs to be a regulatory body for player transfers. Bordeaux have had some unbelievable players come through their books it’s a Traversty they’re no longer a professional club
seems it's not just England where "fit and proper" tests need to be properly brought in
Not like those fit and proper tests are fit for purpose remember the owner that sank Bury and Macclesfield as well I believe passed that very test
Worldwide in my view.
Unbelievable. How can a historic club who once had Laurent Blanc in management and who produced Yoann Gourcuff be allowed to come to this stage? 🤷♂️
Jules can’t go one second without blinking
Can’t unsee this now 😂😂
he's speaking another language. With a camera in his face. presenting on a big platform. Answering questions on the fly.
lack of sleep or he faced his laptop screen opposite to a sunny view
Always remember bourdex when younger in europe miss teams like that from yesteryear, remember grasshoppers zurich times are so different
True. Remember also when Eastern European teams were good? Scottish teams too.
Now both are mostly cannon fodder for the better teams.
@@moerocco775an underrated miss of recent years is Turkish and Russian clubs, although Turks are on their way back
@EdwardElfigo Yeah. I meant Russian, too, when I said Eastern European. Powerhouse teams. The Soviet Union side was a monster that could draw from so many good teams that exist today into one squad. Can't believe they didn't win more, actually. Dynamo Kiev was a beast team, too, that gave the Soviet squad a lot of players.
I miss the days when everyone had their own national team style. A lot of teams even had a national formation. Tactically and strategically, it was so diverse and interesting.
Now everyone wants to do the same thing.
By next year anyone who says they play for Bordeaux probably has a full time job and pays a sub to play. Thats pretty sad for a club of this stature.
HOW are barca allowed to purchase players whilst owning bordeaux 9million since 2018????? Football is so corrupt…. Barca should be forced to give them 9mil since they have money to bid 50 mil in instalments for olmo ffs, it’s such a joke and it should be a much bigger issue
Same resom why RM can keep buying the best players, when you are the Golden image in a sport, you are protected. It's the same for NZ and Ireland in Rugby.
Barca didn’t even bid for olmo yet let alone Nico Williams. If the malcon instalments are actually real and not paid by due date, that’s a literal sport dispute law suit. What do you mean how, this is not Saudi, ofc it’s some legal matter.
If this is true the 4.5 mil Barca received from Malcom going to Saudi would have gone straight to Bordeaux. There is literally no record of them still not having to paid the full 39mil to Bordeaux.
This is fake news. Barça have completed payments to Bordeaux years ago. They even received 4.5 mil when Zenit sold Malcom to Al Hilal
@@footballhipstertv I saw something about it on Forbes but hey I guess it could be outdated but I could be wrong who knows, Barca definitely owe a couple of clubs money and shouldn’t be allowed to buy players because of thst
This is sad! And a big warning to other clubs, in all European leagues.
Football management is just bad in France. The main reason why France does well internationally is because most of their players plays for top teams in Europe.
They have excellent academies, that's how they turn out big talents.
The clubs don't have the financial power to hold on to their talents though.
Maybe, but they are all brought up and trained in France and played for French clubs before moving on. They don’t just become good once they leave the country.
In France the politic is too sell all the best payer for money BC its France 😅 i hate this as a french
Meanwhile at @espnfc they ridicule him non-stop, I'm not surprised their guys started coming over here 👍
Might be one of the stupidest statements I've ever read
espn fc is a joke.
The 3rd tier is semi pro? Why a country that has so elite players have such an appalling domestic league structure
No it's hybrid
Barcelona should be Forced to pay back the 9mil they owe from Malcom deal, why can they still buy players whilst oweing them 9million
They will be back, Fans will start a phoenix club.
It's never the same
@@lukas_jay243 Andy Carroll will save them.

That is sad news.. but they did give us one of Mike Parry's Classic clips, "Bordeaux? As in the Tapestry?!" 😂 RIP
Why are you laughing about this!? A husband and father is DEAD! He was a fire fighter, too. We need to put all this tribal political bullshit aside and put the country first. Grow up.
Surprised someone like Newcastle United or Manchester City's Owners haven't purchased the club
liverpool's owners were attempting to buy the club but they backed out as soon as they saw their finances
Multi club ownership makes it difficult both Manchester clubs had issues coming into next season with the European competitions. Too much of a headache and financial rewards are very little in France it ain't worth it you'll need a rich Arab who doesn't care about money who isn't tied to another club
As a man who's team got relocated to another city, later bought from the old ownership, but find ourselves eternally in a "expansion" league...my heart is with the Bordeaux and its fans. Its awful to lose your club, but especially due to bad management. Hopefully the fans can take ownership of a new club for them and the city. Other clubs have done it, regardless this is very sad news 😢
All the football manager groups are going about this
Gérard Lopez is the biggest crook our french football has ever seen. He deliberatly sabotaged the whole club, the MOST BEAUTIFUL club in the country dont be mistaken ( its not Paris or Marseille ). Plus, Fenway has no money to save Bordeaux , they dont want to "waste" more money. Our jewel has been taken away from us...its dead...yet you guys can't possibly figure out what it means to us. Now dont send your condolences, we dont need them. A bordeaux supporter.
Coming to Chelsea in under a decade with clownlake.
Couldn't Zidane have taken it on?
You have a point
massive debts and he doesn't have ownership money. I don't think he wants that headache.
He isn't that rich
He can't buy the club by himself unless he had backer's.. @@samelmudir
@@samelmudir Plus they don't own the stadium or training ground.
Very sad
why did the alumni not come together to save the club? I mean they're all 8 figure millionnaires
Maybe fans should start a phoenix club
Very sad, hope they bounce back
None of their academy graduates tried to help out?
French Champions 3 times in 1980's
They are a famous club. Sad day.
This is awful i remember bordeaux in the 90s this is such a fall from grace...
This is not primarily because of ownership....this is because oil money has made the french league predictable. There is one club in this league, no competition, no sponsorships for thd future because nobody wants to invest in a league thats so predictable m
This is precisely the reason we need FFP , in order to compete with the oil money, you need to take risks and when those risks don’t pay off well just have a listen to this video. NO THANKS!
ever since they sold Malcom ....
Julien Laurens from espn fc, co host of the gab and jules podcast. French football expert 😂 oh jules
And Chalana.
Sad day for French football, or even European football to an extent?
What a shame. What about the community
Julian Laurens is not a "French Football Expert", he's a French football yes man
If England had the money france had they would be below the Scottish league.
That's just not true though@@Micfri300
Everyone laughing and making jokes from a premier league stand point should be careful. This is what happens when a league doesnt have billions in TV money or massive owners with deep pockets or massive sponsorship deals. This story should be a wake up call for football that some fans and clubs are living in a land like football is some kind of fifa game and not real life. Outside of the slush money of the top clubs in England the football pyramid is shaky as hell and clubs are barely holding on, even some clubs that once were in the premier league like reading could fold with the way things are. Maybe PSR or FFP will finally help make football be a tad bit more responsible even if it means upsetting fans and the media who literally turned transfer deadline days into some kind of gambling event with big money counters and the rest. Meanwhile in the lower leagues some clubs are barely able to stay professional
For real the Championship is a graveyard for big clubs with all the risks needed to get promoted. Villa almost went under albeit we probably would've been in a terrible situation anyway even if we got promoted given Dr. Tony was a criminal in China not too long after he sold the club.
Yet Barcelona still owe €50m euros… make it make sense
Need to put in a Salary Cap , A transfer fee cap ,
Transfer fee cap can't spend more 200 million a season
Salary Cap
Weekly Salaries for first team players can't be more than 1.5 million
Loss in terms of transfers can't be more than 50 million within summer or winter transfers windows
Need to have at least 10 Born Nationals on your club the limit is 15 because clubs need to mix in foreigners as well
This one is more for international football
Can only represent the country you was born in or You can also represent the country your parents were born in but can't represent a country base on how long you have lived there or if you have a passport you can't represent only country you was born or you could represent a country your parents were born in Example mom was born in England, Dad was born in Russia , but I was born in Scotland but you guys live in Spain the countries can be represented is England, Russia and Scotland not spain

Have a day off
No country has won more wars than France.
waving that white flag LOL
That's why they beat England in the last world cup semi's..
@@TheAngrySportsfan01 mbappe did that, not france as a whole. look what happens when he doesnt want to turn up 2 wins 3 draws and 1 loss.. in euros... if you want to bring up previous cups, england beat france 2-0 in the group stage for the 1966 world cup... (every team has beaten every other team at some point in its history)
Paha good for them
So Barca will never pay them back

In France? Yes.
In the context of France you’d have to say so at least. Wasn’t that long ago they won Ligue 1.
