Word, Shorty's would be rad. I had a Peter Schmolick board way back in the day. Also had a Zero board to, but I broke the tail off doing a shuv it down a 4 stair.
I loved ZERO growing up because they were one of the few brands that made 8x32 decks. I still have the pink, black and white ZERO logo deck from like 15 years ago.

I remember those invisible tours. shit was nuts. had one at a skate shop in San Marcos, got crazy and cops shut it down so we all rolled down the street to a cul de sac a kid lived at and set up a few random manual pads and grind rails and started again... needless to say the neighbors weren't to happy about 50 some odd kids in the street and cops showed up again. caught a board one of the invisible guys threw to the crowd that day (can't remember who's board though). ahh to be young again, good times.
I think I might’ve been one of the people to request this vid, so thank you for putting it up. Also Garrett Hill’s coffee slam has to be the funniest clip ever 😂🤣
7:24 I respectfully disagree. Mislead Youth was such a heavy video when it came out. I remember that video being the one that put Zero on the map. The Transworld Magazine Cover also came out about the same time.
Awesome info awesome vid. I used to skate with John rattray early 90 s he was good friends with a friend of mine called Martin or mental. He used to rip the Perth rd factory. So proud of the dude hes a clever man and a superb skater.
It is definitely the same skull design. I don't know the origins or timeline of either usage, but I do remember noticing it way back in the 90's and seeing people discuss it online.
I got to meet Jamie at faith skate supply in Birmingham Alabama. My cousins told me that they skated with him a few times, so I asked Jamie and he said he knew them. That was pretty kewl
Good vid. Zero has always reminded me of why I love skateboarding. However I have to say I was pretty surprised you didn't mention James Brockman when you listed your favourite riders of past and present. Lad is the best.
I would love to see one of these videos on Foundation skateboards. I remember them being fairly popular in the late 90's early 2000's because of Markovich and then kind of fading into the background... I didn't even realize that they still make boards, I had to look it up lol
Thanx for all the content you guys put out. I really enjoy all ur videos and usually learn something new from them. Jamie Thomas is alot of people's favorite skateboarder where I live because we live in Alabama 45 minutes from Beach Plus skate shop in Ft.Walton.
I would be stoked to see jame tancowny be in Zero again and i heard that Lizard king may be in Zero aswell. Been seen him ride alot of zero boards. Zero and Toy machine will always be my favorite brands
I always thought zero came from the smashing pumpkins.. Same as misled youth in the lyrics of a song cant remember right now... I may be wrong I guess... Thank you it was worth every single minute
That’s what makes His Welcome to Hell Part So Great with the best song Choice and my favorite last song from the Number of the beast album By Iron Maiden
Who wrote that?! There's gotta be a group of skaters that knew who wrote it. They probably quit skating and that's why they have no idea they've been being searched for.
Hell yeah bro 🤘🏽 it’s good know some history on one of my favorite skate brands , keep up the good work , doesn’t get any better then your breakdowns dude 🤙🏽
Thanks Tristan!! I was born in the Misericordia hospital in Edmonton! Gotta come back up there to skate again soon! And vice versa, if you make it down to Calgary area come through and skate Cochrane park!!

I live in phenix city Alabama now. This is where jamie is from, also Reggie Kelly is from here as well. I got an Uber ride from his mom about a year ago ironically, and she talked about how her son lives near Jamie Thomas in Encinitas California. I’m originally born and raised in San Francisco and then san Diego.
I know it’s bad to say. But THPS1/2 got me into zero and Jamie Thomas because he was my favourite to play, then in thps3 I went to Rodney Mullen as my first cause of seeing video clips. But Jamie Thomas is still to this day my favorite. I love zero decks and their graphics

Thrasher should make a rule where you're only allowed to a 3-win streak in King of the Road. Then once enough teams get triple wins, have those teams compete to see which team is the king of kings.
Chris Cole is back on zero!
...And now he's off again!! lol
Jamie Thomas was always one of my favorite skaters, but knowing that he went full on homeless just to keep skating gives me alot more respect for him
I think we can all agree that Tommy Sandovals "Promo" part was one of the heaviest for its time and still holds up to this day
I think anything with Tommy Sandoval is gonna be awesome

Honorable mention for previous Zero Team Riders. Josiah Gatlyn and Garrett Hill.
Zero catching on at my high school when the Smashing Pumpkins were at their peak was rather confusing for a couple weeks there.
Is this some kinda bald guy conspiracy?!
I think they did an X-Files about that one.
