Many of you have probably heard of Bobby Parrish and FlavCity. But did you know he has his own brand of Electrolyte Drink Mix? In this video, I put his electrolyte drink mix up against the extremely popular Liquid IV.

Thanks for the review. The ingredient "salt" in liquid iv is (by definition) sodium chloride, so there's chloride in it implicit in it.
I'm a biologist, and I think it's so interesting that the elements of sodium and chloride on their own are remarkably dangerous. Chloride is toxic, and sodium reacts violently with water. But the two of them together? Table salt. Who would have guessed?

Thanks for reviewing. Was using Liquid IV a lot until I really paid attention to the sugar content and was blown away. Honestly another reviewer was comparing it to Gatorade and Liquid IV was better. Well I’m glad to watch an honest review

I think liquid IV was the first on the market, and the reason for the sugar is they were used to be sent to people in Africa to keep them hydrated. That’s great they made a sugar free one! Like LMNT is great for athletes. (My current favorite). But I still love liquid IV, tastes amazing and great for hangovers.

I have some Liquid IV in my pantry that I need to eventually try. I've been using the Beam Recovery Aminos as sort of an electrolyte mix, and it's so tasty. On the sweeter side, but not a big deal if you have a big water bottle.
Liquid IV is pretty good, but I'm still a fan of LMNT.
@@FitnessFinance4u LMNT gives me a RUSH like no other. I liked them too. Just a little expensive since it doesn't come in a tin yet.
I have the flavcity electrolyte mix , it’s mild but it works for me I run 5 miles after work you should also try his hot chocolate it’s really good
I am a fan of his, and I will give his other products a try. I did buy his protein powder and I’m pretty impressed with it.

the use of cyanocobalmin as the B12 instead of methylcobalamin which is a natural b12

You were concerned there was no salt listed on the liquid IV; however, that is what sodium is and therefore, is listed as sodium in the nutritional information table.

That guy is a bada** and I wouldn't mess with him! But, always be careful when athletes or celebs endorse products. Remember, they are getting paid. That's why I always do my own research

Wouldn't it be better that liquid IV dissolves better and faster because your body would better absorb it?🤷
I'm not a scientist, so I don't know for sure, but I don't think that just because something dissolves in water well doesn't mean it dissolves in my body better.

It’s pronounced with a long A, ( Flave ) but that’s confusing with the way it’s spelled. 🤷🏻♀️I wouldn’t have known had I not watched his videos. It definitely doesn’t follow the rules. lol
