  • @ivan-malinov
    @ivan-malinov 5 месяцев назад +24

    Guys and gals, for all of you that worry and argue which salt is better, here's what you can do to understand that it makes no difference on the scale that we're talking about:
    Buy (not needed to buy, actually just go to your supermarket and compare nutrient labels) a pack of table salt, a pack of sea salt and a pack of himalayan salt. Check the nutrients label and pull out your pocket calculators. That's right, it is mainly sodium and chloride (hence the chemical notation NaCl). The amount of calcium, magnesium, potassium and etc. is usually less than 1% per 100g, it is just a slight trace of them.
    If you eat 1kg of salt, you'll get a bit less than 0.2g of calcium, 0.07g magnesium, 0.08g potassium (varies a bit depending on salt type, I used Celtic Sea Salt for example but yeah...) which is nowhere near a justification to worry about salt type + good luck surviving that much salt intake. Salt (whatever type you prefer) is to provide sodium and chloride to your body and thats it (okay, okay taste too 🤤).
    If you want other electrolytes, turn to other substances and products. You don't go to the club to sleep, you don't go a restaurant to workout, you don't go to the office to watch movies, you don't eat salt for calcium, potassium and magnesium. I know the examples may not be bright, and that you can workout in a restaurant or binge watch your fav show in the office but thats what you'll be mainly doing there. The idea is what matters here, don't take it too literally 🤡😂
    Have some common sense, just because a nutrient is mentionned on a product, as the food regulations require it to be listed, doesn't mean it is rich in those nutrients. Check the ratios per 100g, they're openly available on the labels of the food you're buying and it is not a secret to anybody. Peace ✌️🙏😇

      Not sure if you ever found a solution for this, but I found *infusing* the lemon into water over many hours was the trick for me.
      When I started drinking *infused* lemon water my acid reflux and gastritis almost entirely disappeared, but it can still burn if I try to drink water with fresh squeezed lemon, immediately after making it.
      I peel the lemon, bruise it's flesh with a grater then dump everything into about a liter of water and leave overnight and voilà! Healthy lemon water to drink hot or cold next day - minus the bite😊

    This dosnt even come close to a proper electrolyte mix. And theres no difference between "good quality salt" and table salt, you are looking for the sodium content and thats exactly what table salt is.

    I would like to say that many aspects of this video are pure bullshit. For one, there is no reason to use lemon juice. Lemon juice contains citric acid, which is a weak acid and thus a weak electrolyte. It will not be effective. Also, it does not matter what type of salt you use, as long as it is Sodium Chloride. Sodium and Chloride are strong electrolytes regardless of whether this is cheap or expensive salt. It is still the same thing at the end of the day. So basically, the lemon juice is basically useless and you do not need expensive table salt. Any salt will do, as long as it is a strong electrolyte like sodium chloride.

      An independent swiss food & water research group published their findings of comparing 25 different "himalayan salts" with 3 local table salt brands.
      The only difference was the price.
      More so, THERE IS NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE (worldwide) OF HIMALAYAN SALT HAVING BENEFITS OVER TABLESALT. Find me one legit scientific source/paper that isn't marketing or social media BS.
