- I thought Cartoon Network's schedule was bad... but this is the worst ever. How could they even think this is okay to air? Wild... Check it out!

This is like peak "Everyone's on the streaming apps now, so we don't care what we put on the actual channel."
People want to talk about how bad Cartoon Network is now but honestly Nickelodeon is doing way worse.
And the only reason why some of that negativity against Nickelodeon subsided a little is because of the splat logo. I mean the new logo is fine in all. But the schedule still sucks.
Over the years, at least Nick has TRIED.

I remember back in my childhood, where Nickelodeon was actually the heydays for all of their beloved iconic shows especially movies that had premiered on the big screen base off of their originals like hey Arnold, the wild thorn berry’s movie, og Rugrats, Jimmy neutron Movie and of course the spongebob movie. Nowadays Its just reruns and live actions, that’s why people gave up on it as a spongebob and movie channel.
This just shows kids today that the 90s 2000s and the2010s were the golden age of cartoons

@@scamptheelectricchipmunk5046 I know I still love them but that’s the only those shows when you forgot about Ben 10 alien force, Ben 10 ultimate alien, generator Rex, chowder, flapjack, gumball and total drama. The problem with this time period was when 2012-2015, Cartoon Network was just cancelling other shows like generator Rex, symbonic titan and the looney tunes show due to tax right offs and hiatus while TTG still airs for no reason. That’s why it was considered a difficult time back then of not having more variety amount of shows and not just adventure time and regular show.
No, I didn’t forget about them. I just forgot to put etc. at the end. And yeah generator Rex was cut extremely short, especially for the quality that it was produced with every background had so much detail I particularly loved the Ben 10 crossover it had
And, something funny is that even though "Hotel Translvania" is a Halloween type movie, they haven't been airing it that much for the Halloween season.
However, I did see them air it a lot earlier this year.

I liked the old SpongeBob more than the recent one during its first five seasons, and Hanna-Barbera's Smurfs series was better than theirs!
I remember when Nick Jr was called Noggin and they didn't have two show they had like Oswald,Lazytown,Maggie the Fericious Beast and so much more.

The reason why Nickelodeon as a Network sucks rn compared to the mid 2000s-early 2010s
1. Cable went downhill as of December 2013 and it’s still going down hill
2. When Brian Robbins took over as the CEO of Nickelodeon is where Nicktoons and TeenNick went downhill with since 2018 he made bunch of bad decisions and that killed the network entirely and made the bad scheduling decisions
3. Nickelodeon started going downhill around the same time Cartoon Network did when the golden age of kids channels were over
4. Both Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon were declining post-2013
5. Low viewership and ratings
And since paramount currently owns Nickelodeon, they might shut down in the future, if their ratings go down even further than before.
Nickelodeon unfortunately has run out of creativity as well just like Cartoon Network. I would say even worse than Cartoon Network. They were relying mostly on their flag ship shows. Like SpongeBob I don’t feel like having to make anything better. They also had fairly odd parents around for a long time as well until they finally canceled that show on a cliffhanger a few years back. But there’s still just trying to ride the wave of SpongeBob as long as they can. All their new stuff it’s just not worth a damn. Their live action shows are not the same quality as they used to be with the exception of the stuff that they do on the streaming service but those are all again continuation of previous shows iCarly, Zoey, 101, Good Burger but that’s not on the Nickelodeon channel.

You know, as much as I disliked Cartoon Network's current scheduling, at least they have the decency to air SOMETHING, even if it was overtaken by Adult Swim, and this is coming from me who will never defend WBD's decisions. Nickelodeon, on the other hand? Yeah, it left a lot to be desired.
Once Avatar: the Last Airbender ended in 2008, I was done with Nickelodeon. Getting rid of the splat logo in 2009 was the sign of the end and it hasn't recovered since. iCarly and Victorious were good but those weren't enough. It's become the SpongeBob only channel with a bunch of failed nicktoons here & there, and outside of Loud House there hasn't been an iconic brand new nicktoon the past 15 years which is sad.
I see someone in the comment section brought up how Nickelodeon has had a lot of reboots or revivals on Paramount Plus like the iCarly reboot, Good Burger 2, or Zoey 102, which isn't a bad thing, but it shows that the network ran out of ideas long time ago. 2008-2009 was the end, that's the bottom line. Sure, there's The Legend of Korra which was treated horribly its final season, Loud House, etc. but it's not enough as I said before.
I agree I stopped watching the network when there’s nothing on and I haven’t watched SpongeBob in 7 months so that’s why I stopped watching nick because the CEO Brian Robbins sucks and I watch Cartoon Network for Checkered past now

Danggg this is sickening! What is going at Nick? They need to put Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Avatar, Tuff Puppy or even Catscratch… like put some variety on the channel 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️this is sad

The problem isn't even they don't have enough modern shows like CN (who still somehow has a better schedule) they have plenty like Danger Force, That Girl Lay Lay, Big Nate, and a few more

blame Spin master, they're making nickelodeon keep milking Paw patrol because it was a toy merch machine. the scheduler needs to improve the lineup

Marathons of shows on TV networks make me wonder what they're thinking because the benefit of streaming is marathon binging your shows without commercials so how you going to compete with it by just adding commercials 😂
Looks like Nickelodeon is becoming Cartoon Network in 2017, where they would almost always play reruns of Teen Titans Go with limited variety.

I remember watching Nickelodeon when I was a little girl but I realized the schedule is terrible
7:32 Friends has 10 seasons with 236 episodes. If NIck@Nite airs en avarege 10 episodes per day, they are restarting Friends from the beginning every three weeks and a half
Nickelodeon didn’t even care of airing new episodes and reruns of new shows that they have that much like big nate, Star Trek prodigy and monster high. I guess that proves that they were running out of ideas with their new properties by still being in a shell as always.

Atleast cartoon network is airing regular show terror tales of the park, over the garden wall adventure time etc something that cn has over what nickelodeon has for Halloween right now.
1997's schedule was my favorite due to its variety, even as late as 2010 had difference. But nope, we are just on the verge of automation like what happened to Nick GaS in 2007.
Nickelodeon have been getting kind of obsessed with showing the same Illumination Entertainment/DreamWorks Animation movies since about late 2021-early 2022.
Also, Disney XD airs football content, along with Nickelodeon.
For clarification, Disney XD has aired the Pro Bowl since 2019.
Also, Rubble & Crew is a Paw Patrol spin-off.
Cartoon Network may not have the best schedule but it and Adult Swim at least have variety Nickelodeon and Nick@Nite's schedules are disasters right now

Yes, thank you for understanding that Nickelodeon is becoming so boring and worse because of their Schedules there are company of mostly TV shows, especially if it's movies that people have already seen. And the other thing that they're just rerunning the same shows instead of something new. They won't even re run some of their older shows.

Nickelodeon, more like trashlodeon. This schedule is bad. Nick cares for SpongeBob, repeating same movies, got rid of modern nicktoons for more SpongeBob and Loud House this is why I think SpongeBob needs to be aired less. I hate SpongeBob and Loud House, it's the worst Nicktoons ever. The lineup needs to air something else to be improved.

I heard something about Nickelodeon might shut down in the future due to cable going extinct and if their schedule is bad they might be shut down in the future it’s inevitable and the CEO of Nickelodeon killed the network with their crappy schedule it got worse as soon as they started spamming movies since late 2018 so I agreed with you this time and I heard 30 cable channels might shut down soon and including Nicktoons and teenNick even if Cartoon Network schedule was bad considering teen titans go and Gumball spam I would watch Checkerd Past and some of Adult swim
