- What's even the point of TV channels anymore? Like, now it's just getting ridiculous. Let me make a TV channel now. 24 hours of my content. At least then there'd be VARIETY! What a mess, what a disaster. Over 24 HOURS of Spongebob!

Remember when "Over 24 HOURS of Spongebob!" was something to brag about when Best Day Ever happened in 2006?
No fairly odd parents or Rugrats for some reason? But I would do better of showing different shows old and new by making it fun
There's really no point in continuing to broadcast Nicktoons and Teennick if they're just gonna air the same exact shows as the main Nickelodeon channel, but 24/7. Also I'm proud of you for going full-time!
Nicktoons is just SpongeBob now, all the other stuff besides transformers is died
Nicktoons got a slight increase in ratings (both daytime and nighttime) on the week that Nicktoons aired SpongeBob all day nonstop, after permanently removing TMNT (2012) from the schedule last month.
do kids not like variety anymore? do they really just want to watch one show all day? because the way these networks make their schedule thats seeming like the case.
@@evenhartwick4422 Hell, Nicktoons went on to spam over 200 hours of SpongeBob nonstop in late March to early April! Like, what the hell are they trying to accomplish with this dumb marathon? Are they trying to outsmart TeenNick's overairing of Henry Danger now? Come on, Nicktoons. You're a channel that's supposed to be airing classics again, not be the f**kin DangerNick Sequel Network! Nicktoons shouldn't have axed Fairly OddParents reruns from its schedule to spam a massive amount of SpongeBob!
5:26 If I had to guess, it had to be the Every Simpsons Ever marathon on FXX during August 2013, which aired again for Thanksgiving 2016 and yet again for Christmas 2019

I don't know what it takes to layout a schedule for these networks but i have high confidence in myself that I could do a better job than whatever they got going on now.
Like i understand licensing could be a reason they can't get certain shows but this is lazy.
Like if Disney, Nick or CartoonNetwork wanted to create a retro channel for a streaming app I could create a dope lineup if given the shows I wanted
Trust me when I say I would switch different shows with 30 mins and 1 hr of each shows old and new back to back with new episodes
At this point all of the Nickelodeon channels have beaten Cartoon Network on how many times they air a show.

Nicktoons has pretty much outsmarted the main channel in terms of how many times they air SpongeBob time and time again. Great job, Nicktoons, what a way to stoop this low. Sad that Nicktoons isn't even making an effort to improve its schedule anymore. Like bringing back Fairly OddParents, even if the show turned bad in its later seasons
Also Loud House has started being scheduled for Teen Nick for almost half the day, so I'm wondering if it's scheduling so loud house is on both or more networks at the same time or something...
They once shown hey Arnold and Danny Phantom in the teen Nick schedule at one point

I just wonder what the mentality for it is. Is it like they're trying to compete with streaming services by providing binge content? Do they feel that would help combat streaming attention by attempting to do what streaming is best at?
Nah as if people want to watch hours of just spongebob or loud house. But no fairly odd parents for some reason?
@@jayjaybulldog9180 They pulled The Fairly OddParents from the lineup for unknown reasons in Early 2022, I guess kids these days don't have the attention span for it.
@@ArtieRaccoonReviews The Fairly OddParents was still on reruns until June 2022. FOP returned to the schedule on October, mainly because of the reboot that no one liked, before being permanently off the lineup again after February 2023.

@@renejustinnillo3087 on the channel itself Wether on the main network or sister channel yeah that’s why people barely even watched it, not even putting in newer ones in like big Nate, Star Trek prodigy or transformers Earthspark.
They are doing the exact same thing in the UK, no word of a lie. They really need to reconsider how they are running their channels, both in the USA and abroad.
NickToons have really lost it's touch. It started to go downhill since 2018 and its been pretty much a dead channel ever since. The branding is bland, even more bland than the 2014-2018 era, the schedule sucks, and there are very few other shows on the channel anymore. I remember the 2009-2014 era had excellent bumpers/peogramming and a wide variety of shows that includes classic Nicktoons 2000s some 90s and some anime like Dragon Ball Z and Digimon Fusion. Nowadays its SpongeBob, The Loud House and its spin offs. Ever since Paramount plus's release, Nickelodeon has been unimproving their schedule even more. Even the late 2010s had some remnance of variety. This right here has none of that.
I would rather watch Disney’s newer content over the current state of Nicktoons any time, any day.
Not to mention that Nicktoons has already ditched TMNT, both the 1987 and 2012 versions, as of last month, for more SpongeBob and The Loud House

Jamie I remember back when the Nicktoons channel was more for all of their shows to be tuned in along with new upcoming shows instead of just marathon with reruns of one or two shows which is pathetic. Nowadays is just a sister channel for the other newer shows to die with no promoting advertisements.

SpongeBob is my favorite show on Nickelodeon but this is way too much it would be fine for a 24/7 marathon for an anniversary or celebration for SpongeBob but everyday is too much
Exactly. Spongebob is my favorite Nickelodeon show too, but if they air it 24/7 non stop I'll probably get sick of it and change the channel.

Hell, even the worst of Disney nowadays is more fun to watch compared to Nicktoons and TeenNick nowadays. Mainly the (new) modern MCU and Star Wars content.

Nicktoons TV (2002-2003), (just plain) Nicktoons (2003-2005), or Nicktoons Network (2005-2009)?
Me: I loved watching Nicktoons Network, due to its extreme creativity and some original shows, like "Kappa Mikey", "The Secret Show", "Three Delivery", "Skyland" and "Speed Racer: The Next Generation".
What about you? No hard feelings, I’m just saying.
I would prefer 2002-2003 and 2003-2005 of the Nicktoons channel most often because around 2006-2007 that’s when the Nicktoons channel started to go bad by having shows be thrown in there by being canceled or being hiatus of a tax right off by not having it being shown on the main network

going into this video i was expecting a lot of Spongebob but good grief this is ridiculous. this is literally just the SpongeBob channel. they have like 5 shows total 3 OF WHICH ARE SPONGEBOB! and 1 of which gets like no air time (Monster High) Nicktoons should be for all the old shows like Rugrats, Catdog, Angry Beavers Jimmy Neutron, Ren and Stimpy etc the main channel already shows enough spongebob that show shouldn't even be on here
well ren and stimpy wont count since its now airing on comedy central
@@RewiaShudafokop Nick still owns the IP Ren and Stimpy still appear in all the Nick Crossover games maybe they only licensed it out to someone who actually wanted to use it because they are so focused on spongebob all day
NickToons schedule used to be amazing. Now all they are is SpongeBob for the most part.
Man. It’s sad that Nicktoons channel has been a shell of its former glory for quite a long time now. 2009-2014 was the last time the channel was actually pretty decent with some good variety of classic nick shows and such. Nowadays, the channel is basically on autopilot. I hate to say it, but they might as well close nicktoons channel down if the channel can’t get its shit together. Boomerang channel on the other hand this year, has been the best year for boomerang for decades. But nicktoons channel/Nicklodeon in general doesn’t seem to give a damn about their audiences anymore. And only care for SpongeBob and loud house.

The last time nicktoons network was good was like 2013/2014 when they used to air classic seasons 1-4 fairly oddparents and rocket power
I’ve noticed that to for bluey. They air a new compilation marathon of park, character’s, adventures, outdoors, etc. I guess to get the record time views for people who have recorde new episodes only to watch and skim their programming or recordings. Just to say look they watched it to the very end.
Nicktoons should NOT be a dumping grounds for spongey boy. How about instead of tainting the channel and schedule they brought back NickRewind and aired Rugrats, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, Aaahh Real Monsters etc instead of Mr. Cheese under the sea

I mean, why everybody’s hate the 2014 era of NickToons? I mean, I did found out 2 years ago, that Catscratch and The X’s briefly reruns on December 2015? I mean, since they finally rebranded, but they need to have their own bumpers. But not the same one’s from Nickelodeon. And they definitely need to get more variety on their schedule. Every time I look in the NickToons Schedule, when it’s just SpongeBob, The Loud House (And their spin offs), I get really annoyed. Like, do better Nick. And why would they removed The Fairly OddParents from Last Year too?
They also ditched TMNT (2012) from the Nicktoons schedule in mid-October of last year. Because of this, as of now, there's sadly no more classic shows on its schedule.

This channel became bad when the stupid Sponge Creep got rid of ollie's pack (my personal favorite Nicktoon), Nicktoons become the worst network ever. I miss welcome to the wayne and other shows. Nick wanted Spongebob all day long, This show is trash. Spongebob needs to be burnoff to this channel and make room for more nicktoons or better yet, burnoff this show and end it. Spongebob is a horrible character.
